It had been a few months since the first night Levi slept on Eren's couch. Eren had finally gotten moved from an editor to a journalist for the newspaper. Levi, however, still had no job. He had a wealthy family background and didn't exactly have to share the family's money, mostly because they were all dead or pretending not to be related.
Levi and Eren had small talk here and there, but nothing really major. Eren had grown fond of having him around, and kind of enjoyed his company too.
It was Sunday and Eren had it off. Levi was in the kitchen, busy making breakfast, as Eren looked through Tumblr. "Breakfast is done."
"Oh cool, thanks." Eren sat his phone down on the counter and watched as Levi brought him over a small plate, stacked with pancakes and a sunny-side egg on top. "This looks delicious." Eren took a bite.
"Mmm... It tastes as good as it looks." Levi gave Eren a light smile. He brushed his black apron off and hung it up on a hook. Levi took a seat across from Eren and began to devore his breakfast.
"Hey, I've been wanting to see the new Alien remake, you want to join me?" Levi asked Eren while he was at the sink, cleaning their dishes.
Eren was a little taken back by this. Is he asking me on a date? "U-uhm, sure."
"You're nervous again."
Eren didn't respond; his face felt hot.
"Yes, Eren. I'm asking you on a fucking date."
"How did you---"
"It was all over your face."
"O-oh..." Levi smirked and turned to Eren, who was still sitting on a bar stool by the counter. "You know, it's kind of adorable when I know I make you nervous and you stutter."
Eren's face got hot again.
"Jesus, Eren, stop blushing at every single word."
"S-sorry."
"No, that's also cute. Stop it, brat."
"S-stop calling me cute."
"Alright adorable, stuttering Eren."
"L-Levi..!" Eren whined.
"Oh hey, by the way, that movie is tonight." Levi decided he should probably tell him. "So, yeah."
Levi and Eren spent the rest of the day just hanging out at his house. Levi sat on the couch, his arm resting on the back, while Eren--once again--sat in the arm chair. "Is that your favorite seat?"
"What do you mean?" Eren turned to Levi. He was just blankly looking off into space.
"I mean, why do you never sit by me?"
"I... uhm, didn't think you'd want me to."
"Why would I not want you?" Eren's fake took on a pink tint. Just how Levi said why would he not want him made Eren blush. His heart danced inside his chest even though he told himself Levi probably didn't mean it that way. But then again, he asked me on a date. Eren's mind went everywhere.
"Well," Levi huffed. "We should get ready to go, the movie starts at 10:30."
Eren nodded and headed into his room to grab his wallet. He came back out and Levi was standing right infront of him, blocking his path. "I'll pay, you can put that up."
"O-oh okay, b-but I kind of need my license..."
"I was going to drive, well walk at first to go get my car."
"O-oh..?"
"What, did you think I didn't own a car?" Eren nodded. "It's parked at a friend's house because I rarely use it."
Levi started to walk away as Eren followed. They went out the door and Levi waited on him to lock it.
"Wait here, I have to tell Khayv I'm taking my car." Khayv?
Eren watched as Levi began to chat with another black-haired male. He turned back towards Eren with keys in his hand. Levi had almost the same car as Eren, but his was three times shinier and cleaner. Levi's car looked like it costed much more than Eren's did.
Levi opened the door for Eren to get in; Eren felt his face heat up slightly. Levi went around the car then got inside the drivers seat, starting the engine. They both were buckled up and Levi began to drive to the movie theatre.
Once inside, Levi payed for the tickets and bought them a small popcorn and two drinks to share. Levi was busy filling up his drink as Eren stood there and waited. "Eren...!"
Eren looked around in confusion then spotted the person who called his name. "Oh, hey Armin."
Armin jogged over to where Eren was standing. "How's your day off been?" Eren thought for a moment. It had been absolutely fucking fantasic.
"Wonderful, how about you?" He decided not to spill everything.
"Oh, same here. Jean called me from where ever he was and I told him about you. He said hello."
"Cool, anything else new?"
"Nothing much, what are you doing here anyway?"
"Well---" Right then Levi walked up and took a hold of Eren's free hand.
"He's on a date with me," Levi responded for Eren. His face got warm as Armin smiled at the two.
"Well, isn't that adorable? I'll leave you two be." Armin turned and walked away.
Levi let go of Eren's hand and Eren turned to him. "What?"
"N-nothing..."
"No, there is something. What is it?" Eren couldn't speak but his face showed it all. A small smile spread across Levi's lips. "Did you like the fact I was holding your hand or this is a date?" Eren just nodded. "Both?" He nodded again, his face turning into a tomato. Levi took a hold of his hand once more and dragged him to the seating area for Alien. Eren followed, delighted, and sat next to Levi.
Eren tensed up as Levi snaked his arm around his waist, pulling him closer. Some scenes, Levi would pull Eren closer or Eren would lean closer into Levi. At the end of the movie, Eren almost ended up in Levi's lap without even noticing it.
They drove home; Eren just thinking about Levi the whole time. Eren unlocked the door of his house slowly. Once they got inside, Levi took a hold of his waist. "L-Levi..?"
Levi gently pressed his lips up against the brunette's. Eren was tense at first, but then let it happen. His lips were so soft and delicate. Eren began to kiss back.
He ran his hand through Levi's silky hair as their lips moved in unison. Levi pulled back slowly--leaving Eren panting, wanting more--and looked him in his green eyes.
"I've wanted to do that for so long..."
