1 Year Anniversary Bonus Chapter
Third Person
The one thing Aphmau looked forward to everyday, was picking up her family. Being a stay at home Mom, she loved to get out every day and do things.
Today, especially. The family was planning to go out to dinner at the Olive Garden. (A/N: Let's face it, Olive Garden is going to be around for a long time!)
She got her keys and walked out the front door, locking it behind her. She got into her white Lexus and drove off. She turned on the radio, listening to iconic Pop songs when she was in college. One of her favorites started to play. Faster Car. She loved this song and she hummed it as it played.
As she passed the buildings and shops on her way to the near by elementary school, she couldn't help but noticed a old building that closed down years ago...
Phoenix Drop High.
The place where she became close with her friends and little did she know, her future husband. She sighed, wishing the beautiful brick building was still standing in glory with purple and gold banners. She continued on thinking on that day...
Flashback
Aphmau rushed through the hallway, her Raven black ponytail flying behind her. She was going to be late for class again! She had already gotten a warning but, it was the school's fault for scheduling a class on the other side of the school. She panted as she ran down the last few doors.
She made it in with only a few seconds to spare. Relieving herself, she took a seat near one of her new friends, Katelyn.
"See that you're on time today," She smirked, putting her chin on her hand. "Did you finish your homework?"
"Of course! I don't want Mr. Worth to be mad at me even more!"
She laughed as the bell rang. The two girls pulled out their supplies. Aphmau confidently, flipped through her papers to find...
Everything but her biography homework.
"What," She whispered, panicky. "I swear I had it in here!"
Katelyn saw her friend's panic and helped her look through some things.
"Ms. Aphmau. Do you have your assignment?"
"W-Well, you see..."
She was trying to think of a new excuse. This class was never her favorite so, she didn't put much thought in it. She aced every test and project so what was there to worry right.
"I-I...you s-see s-sir...I-I was-"
"E-Excuse me?"
Mr. Worth turned to see a blonde haired boy with blue eyes.
"Aw! Garroth, how can I help you?"
"I found this in the hallway. I think it's one of your students' work."
He gave the paper to him. He inspected the work.
"Aphmau, is this your's?" Aphmau looked at the handwriting and nodded. "Good thing too. You have some pretty good work here."
Aphmau mouthed the words 'thank you' as Garroth started to leave the room. It wasn't until he smiled and nodded that she realized that she knew who he was already.
Flashback over
She sighed, driving past it. She drove up to the Elementary School and started to wait in the pick up line for a painful twenty minutes. Being only twenty-eight, she found it amazing that she was waiting already for kids to come out of school.
Flashback
"Garroth...what are we going to do," Aphmau asked, holding her boyfriend's hand.
"We'll be fine. I promise."
She sobbed on his shoulder.
"We aren't done with school yet and...and we aren't even married," She sobbed. "How are we going to do this?"
Garroth's fingers stroke through her raven hair. He planted a soft kiss on her temple.
"We'll did a way," He says, softly. "I'm not going to let some silly pregnancy ruin our lives. Besides, let's be happy."
"How?"
"It's our life, Aph. A supporting family and friends...what could go wrong?"
She looked up to him and kissed him softly.
"I love you...you know that right," He asked.
"I know."
Flashback
The screams of children snapped her back from her trance. She saw her first grade twins walk out, laughing. They hopped in the car.
"How are you two," She asked.
"Great," They cheered.
The eldest, Gwen, had her blonde hair in pigtails and her freckles and brown eyes made her sparkle. The youngest, Alex, his black hair was longer and nicely combed. His blue eyes could make anyone happy just by staring at them. Like his Father's.
"Let's go pick up her Father!"
After a few questions and a story of how Roy Tenrick got a Lego stuck in his nose, they rolled up to the Police Station. Aphmau held both of her children's hand as they walked in.
They were greeted by a smile by Uncle Dante as they entered.
"He's in his office," He told them, after Aphmau asked where Garroth was.
She thanked him and the three were off. They found him packing up his things for the day.
"Daddy," The children cheered.
Garroth opened his arms to give the two a big hug and kisses on their cheeks.
"Hello, darling," He said as he saw his wife.
He place the children down and accepted a kiss from her. The two seven year olds gagged as the couple giggled.
"Ready," Aphmau asked. Garroth nodded and grabbed his things. "How was your day Captain?"
"Lonely, without you."
The happy family walked out of the station to enjoy their evening together, with a dinner and a nice blue cake.
