The two of them eventually made it back.
Toriel, of course, was overjoyed to see Glitch safe and sound, but Glitch was too distracted to focus on that. She excused herself to her room earlier than normal and sat on her bed to think.
"I don't understand. What was that...weird... vision thing I had? Was it real? Was it fake? Was it my mind playing tricks on me?"
She asked the questions out loud, but no one answered them...not that she expected anyone to. Despite having so many adopted siblings and even adopted parents, she felt alone.
Then, she remembered.
Anti.
Anti was still alone in the void... ...or was she? Did she find new friends? New friends that she liked better than Glitch?
Did Anti completely forget about her beloved sister?
Glitch struggled not to cry as she thought of these new questions. The possibilities were, unfortunately, endless. Anything could've happened.
Anti could've been erased from time.
The void could've been destroyed while Glitch was away.
Glitch could've even been what destroyed it!
She buried her face in her pillow and screamed at the top of her lungs. She was tired of this. Too much frustration! Too much confusion! Too many unanswered questions!
She needed to do something about it.
But what?
