In Siberia, Quinn was struggling through the harsh storm and struggling to tread through the high levels of snow. He began to think if taking this journey now through snowmageddon in the one of the coldest and harshest places where winter is known to have a true bad reputation worth it?

But he promised his father he'd keep going until he reached Mirkwood and he also made a promise to not let Jackie see his dead body. He was going to Mirkwood if it was the last thing he did.

Luckily on his journey he managed to find a small cave to hide in from the harsh winter storm. Once he entered inside he shook off the excess snow on his fur coat.

"Maybe I should just wait out the storm for a while until it passes, I can't even move another step". Quinn collapsed exhausted. He hadn't had much luck finding any food with the storm and all, and he feared if he didn't find any food soon he may not make it at all.

But tiredness over powered his hunger and worry and soon Quinn fell asleep in the safety of his new cave.

By morning when the storm was now just a light snowfall, Quinn took his time to head on out unaware that now the weather would soon change dramatically. A few hours into his journey the snow stopped falling and the weather began to warm up and Quinn took notice of the sudden change in the weather

Now that it was getting warmer, that meant no more snow and ice. Quinn had to be careful of where he treaded and how he did it, especially now since his trail now suddenly turned into a narrow pathway to the other side one false move and Quinn could go falling hundreds of feet straight into the ground.

As Quinn cautiously walked along the narrow pathway to reach the other side of the cliff, suddenly the ground began to shaken beneath him. Quinn quickly ran as fast as he could as the snow and the rocks beneath him began to fall causing an avalanche to start.

Quinn jumped over the falling snow until he finally reached the safety of the cliff's edge and took a chance leap towards it but the snow wasn't sturdy enough and caused him to hang on along the cliff's edge.

Now in human form so he would have a good enough grip, Quinn tried to pull himself up but the rocks were beginning to crumble. He tried to pull himself up before the rocks would break but sadly he didn't have enough strength to pull himself up.

He fell hundreds of feet screaming as he fell to his death causing a second avalanche to head right towards him and soon Quinn was buried alive in what felt like hundreds of feet of snow.

Back in Mirkwood, Jackie and the search party were being taken care of from their long search especially Jackie, Aniu saw to it personally that she as well as Tauriel took care of Jackie. As Aniu placed a warm blanket around Jackie she said to her.

"Don't worry Jackie, Feren is one of our best trackers and messengers, he'll find Quinn alive and well". Jackie didn't say a word. Tauriel then handed her little sister a warm cup of brewed tea and said.

"Here Jackie, drink this". Jackie looked at her big sister and took the cup and drank a small sip of it. The tea healed her sore throat from all the howling and screaming she did to find Quinn through the harsh winds. A knock soon came at the door and Aniu said.

"Enter". Soon entering the room was Feren and the whole scouting party with regretful looks in their eyes.

"We're sorry".

"What is it Feren? Did you find him?" Jackie asked worriedly.

"We managed to find his tracks but by the time we got there—there was.....there was an avalanche..... And a scream. We saw Quinn falling off the cliff in the avalanche". Aniu's and Tauriel's hearts clenched and Tauriel pressed her hand over her mouth muttering.

"Oh Valor".

"No it—it couldn't have been him, you—you said that you would bring him back! You promised!" Jackie exclaimed out.

"I know. I know I said that, and we actually caught wind of something that actually flew towards us, can you see if this is familiar to you?" Feren then pulled out from his cloak a familiar small black decorated bandana that Quinn always wore with his Mad Hatter get up, even when he became Alpha, Jackie noticed that he still never took it off.

It was then her stomach dropped a thousand times over and her body just froze with fear as she whispered.

"His bandana". Feren placed it in Jackie's hands and stated solemnly.

"We're sorry Jackie, but even this must mean something to you now". Jackie silently sobbed and looked up at Feren with sad eyes. But they suddenly turned cold and harsh as she stated.

*A/N Start this vid. at 0:13 seconds. This music video that I found really describes the TRUE BEAUTY OF WOLVES. We should NOT allow poachers and hunters to keep killing these beautiful, magnificent creatures. So allow this beautiful score piece and these magnificent animals guide you through this story and if u want once you finish reading you can come back and actually see the whole video that WolfGuardianz made over 7 years ago.*

"You lied". Feren looked at her shock as did everyone else as they muttered silently. "You all lied to me. You don't even care anymore! I'll find him myself if I have to". Jackie turned into her wolf form and picked up Quinn's bandana and ran out of the medical wing.

As the older elves looked at each other solemnly for their poor pup's denial accepting this, they all left muttering to each other while Tauriel looked to her grandmother solemnly then ran off to find Jackie to comfort her while Aniu sat there in silence until she finally decided enough was enough.

Outside as the Mirkwood palace was beginning to shut itself in for the remainder of the storm that night, Aniu walked out a few miles from the palace carrying a small lantern. She treaded through the snow before setting the lantern down on top of the snow.

"The sun," she then brushed the ground away to reveal several beautiful gems as she muttered, "ice caps," she then moved away and as the light hit the gems it revealed the Northern Lights.

As High Alpha Female along with Thranduil, she is bounded to the spirits of the Northern Lights. And with her powers of telepathy and powerful Elvish magic given to her by the Eldar, she could bond with the Northern lights and teleport her spirit to whomever needed guidance. Her eyes shut as she muttered one name into the wind.

"Quinn Van Turpin".

Back in Siberia as the sun was starting to rise, coming out of the snow was Quinn still in human form. He gasped and desperately tried to pull himself out of the snow with only his right arm. As he managed to pull himself out of the snow completely he collapsed onto his stomach and held his broken left arm in pain as he had broken it in the fall.

"I'm sorry Jackie". Quinn whimpered before he started breaking down crying as the wind blew across his face and hair. He didn't know what else to do, no strength left, a broken arm and spirit now fully crushed. He couldn't go on, not anymore.

Until now.

When he opened his teary eyes he took notice of a white figure standing in front of him. He raised his head up slowly to reveal that the figure standing in front of him was a white wolf. As white as the snow and eyes as golden as the sun. She threw her head back and howled proudly then looked back down at Quinn, who only looked at her brokenly then turned his head away from her telling her to leave him alone.

The white wolf turned but kept her eyes on Quinn then walked back and disappeared into the wind as Quinn didn't look back at her. But he started to feel something.

He began to feel in his chest a bit of warmth and hope as he opened his eyes to reveal no more sadness but deep thought as he turned to the cliff and looked up towards the top revealing the sun. Quinn's brain knew physically in his condition he'd never even make it but when he thought back to the white wolf, his mother's voice soon rang in his head of an old saying.

'Always remember this my son. Even when our journey's seem darker than the Night, the White Soul will be your guiding Light'. It was then Quinn's eyes narrowed with strength and determination.

When he turned back around, he didn't see the White Wolf anymore but he did see her tracks in the snow. With whatever strength he had left, Quinn raised himself up and raised his right hand and placed it over the white wolf's paws in the same formation and his human hand fit perfectly in with hers. Quinn was astounded and he then knew what he had to do.

Narrowed eyes, and sudden new strength, Quinn threw back his head and as he phased into his wolf form he howled loudly to call back the White Soul Aniu.

And like magic she reappeared once again as Quinn continued to howl. Aniu walked right up to Quinn and the two of them howled together as one like a strong wolf pack.

It had to be a miracle for if Feren and the rest of the scouts had stayed, they would've seen a figure climbing up the narrow cliff side.

A broken left arm, fractured ankle, several cracked ribs, and wounds and scars more than anyone could count, Quinn Van Turpin was climbing back up the cliff in human form.

Quinn braved the climb up towards the light of the sun, even if he slipped on the melting snow, he'd grip tightly onto the cliff's edge and not even think about giving up. He had to do this, he had to live for his pack, for his parents, for Lady Aniu, and most of all for Jackie. Once he reached the top, he could almost pull himself up but with a broken left arm he was left to dangle, he tried and tried but it almost seemed like nothing he did was going to pull him up.

Until he felt someone grip his arm and pull him up from the edge of the cliff. When he looked up he saw the All High Alpha female herself in her elf form now.

'Now go Quinn Van Turpin'. Quinn grinned at the Elf Queen then raced off in wolf form as she disappeared within the wind.

Quinn wasn't going to die, not while he had anything to say about it. With new courage and adrenaline pumping through his body, Quinn ran for hundreds of miles. Once he reached a certain point, he suddenly caught a scent of something. He sniffed the ground and into the air until he caught the scent pointing him in a certain direction. Licking his chops he took off running for the scent.

Just as he had suspected, a huge herd of elk was traveling looking for a new land of green to feast upon. Quinn saw his chance to take what is rightfully his. Now to any other person this looks hard enough for a lone wolf with no pack to take down an elk herd this strong, and scientifically it was impossible for a wolf as injured as Quinn was to even still be alive let alone hunt.

But Quinn didn't care.

His hunger begged for real meat, not just scraps. He didn't care if he had to follow the whole herd to the Northern part of the world and chase them to the North Pole, he was going to get himself a nice, juicy, rich elk.

He made his judgement calls and stayed downwind of the herd and silently stalked them from behind, until it was finally time to hunt. He charged towards the herd and one of them cried out 'Wolf!' starting a stampede. Even with a broken leg, Quinn kept a steady pace with the herd and soon he took notice of an old bull started to lag behind.

Quinn kept up with the strong bull and nipped at his side leading him away from his herd. The elk lead him towards a wooded area and tried to fight Quinn off by using his strong point horns. Quinn wasn't going to be pushed around this time, play time was over, it was time to be a wolf.

He lunged for the elk's neck and bit down as hard as he could and didn't let go no matter how hard the elk was shaking him off. Finally the elk suffocated to death and collapsed onto the ground his neck still in his mouth. With his well-earned meal, Quinn devoured the elk and didn't take heat from nobody whether it was another wolf pack, a huge bear, or any scavenger from birds to cats.

Quinn was going to survive, he was going to make it to Mirkwood no matter what, and he wasn't going to stop until he got there and was once again beside Jackie.
