~Soulmate~
(Au where everything is black and white until you meet your soulmate)
Your p.o.v
Black. White. Gray.
Everything. That was all I saw. It was like a colourless hell. I always heard my friends brag about colour, and how they found their soulmate. They told me, one day I'd find that special someone that will change the way I see the world, literally. I call bullshit on that one. Like I'm ever going to find my soulmate.
Even if I just moved to Alola, there was no way in hell my soulmate would be here. Or anywhere for that matter. They're probably dead, or something. My mon always told me not to lose hope, that my soulmate will always find me. Yet, they haven't come yet. "Eevee, let's go." I called out, my Eevee giving a cheerful cry and jumping towards me. I wasn't a trainer, but I still had a Pokémon. It's pretty safe to assume I love Pokémon more then actual people. I wouldn't be surprised if I died alone with this Eevee, and not my actual "soulmate". Hell, this Eevee is probably my soulmate. Anyways, enough of that. At the moment, I had to run, literally, to Malie City. Why? Because mom wanted me to bring something to the Professor, who was there. Hopefully.
"About time we got here....took forever...." I mumbled to Eevee, who was currently on my shoulder, half-asleep. "I think that's him....come on!" I used the last bit of energy to run to what I think is Malie Garden, where the Professor is. Don't get me wrong, I think the Professor is great. Just....I envy him. I envy his happiness, the fact that he found his soulmate, that he can see in colour. He tried his best to describe colour to me, and what having a soulmate was like, but I still don't understand. At all. "Guzma! What is wrong with you?!" I heard a deep, gruff voice yell out. I walked up behind the Professor, as quiet as possible. "Ah, (Y/n)! You're here! I wanted to give you something!" My eyes wondered from the Professor to this 'Guzma' guy. He was decently attractive. Messy hair, bags under his eyes, a smile that could kill. Such a same it was all in black and white. He was slouching and looking at Kukui, smirking almost evilly. "Who is this little girlie?" His eyes shifted towards me, locking with mine. Then it happened. The moment I've been waiting for since birth.
It was him.
He was my soulmate.
Colour filled the world slowly, as if it was being painted on. My eyes didn't leave Guzma's, no matter how amazing my surroundings were. I took a few small steps towards Guzma, him doing the same, we didn't break eye contact once. "H-hey...." I breathed out in a hushed tone. "Hey....I'm Guzma." He said, smiling. And not like the smirk I just saw. No, it was genuine. He was genuinely happy to see me. "Yeah I know....I kinda heard you yelling at yourself. I'm (Y/n)." I laughed, smiling like I was the happiest person alive, probably because I was. "Where have you been all my life?" Guzma said, grabbing my hand and kissing it, trying to be smooth. "Unova." I felt my stomach turn and my legs go weak. "Boss! We gotta get outta here!" One of the grunts yelled. Then it hit me. My soulmate, was the leader of Team Skull. Was this going to end terribly? Was something going to happen to me? Would Guzma hurt me? I started to panic silently, thinking of all the negative outcomes to having Team Skull's leader as my soulmate. After a moment of thinking, I realized. He wouldn't hurt me. I'm his soulmate, and you can't hurt your soulmate. Right? Guzma turned around, giving me the chance to look at the world in colour for the first time. "Just leave without me." Guzma replied flatly, turning back to me, still smiling like an idiot. "Ee! Vee!" Eevee cried out, pawing at my leg for attention. Guzma looked at my Eevee, then back towards me. "I'm takin' ya home with me. Let's go." He lifted me up bridal style, then bent down to pick up Eevee, placing him on my lap. "Bye Kukui." I said, the Professor giving me a look. Not a concerned one, no. A 'you're about to get laid have fun' look. Kukui gave me a thumbs up. "Good luck, cousin! Don't do something I wouldn't!" He yelled out, I could feel Guzma tense up from Kukui's words. "It's a bit of a walk. So if ya wanna sleep, go ahead." I looked up at Guzma, studying his every feature. "O-oh yeah....okay..." I buried my face into his chest and closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep to the smell of cheep cologne, and the sound of his heartbeat.
"Who is she? And why is she here?" I yawned lightly. "This is my soulmate." Guzma spat back, hugging me close. "You? Have a soulmate? Stop fucking around." Guzma didn't respond, he just marched up a flight of stairs and to his room. "Here we are. Sorry ya got a little wet, it was rainin' a whole lot outside." It took me a moment to realize I had Guzma's jacket wrapped around me, and that Guzma was soaking. Not to mention shaking violently. "Shit! Guzma you didn't have to do that. You must be freezing." Guzma just chuckled. "N-nah. I'm good. Couldn't let my soulmate catch a cold now." My first instinct was to wrap a towel around him, but since there were no towels, I came up with a plan B. Which for the record, is a little sexual. "Take off your shirt." I blurt out, heat rushing to my face. "I-I....What?!" I walk up to him, lifting up the bottom of his soaking shirt. "Take. Off. Your. Shirt." Guzma nods, smirking lightly. Once his shirt was off, and thrown into the corner of the room, I hugged Guzma tightly. "Body heat. There were no towels, so I decided to use body head to warm you." His cold skin felt nice on my burning cheek, but I soon felt Guzma warming up himself. "You sure are somethin'..." Guzma wrapped his arms around my waist, still shaking. But I don't think it was because he was freezing. "I was so afraid that I'd die alone. That I'd never find ya...." I could hear his voice crack as he hugged me tighter. "I thought you'd hate me....for being the Team Skull leader." Guzma brought me over to his bed, wrapping the giant comforter around us both. "I would never hate you." I drew circles on his chest. He was honestly perfect. Yeah, Guzma didn't have an 8 pack, and he wasn't the greatest person reputation wise. But he was my soulmate, and I would still love him. I heard soft sobs and I quickly started to panic. "No no please don't cry!" I put a hand on his cheek, trying to sooth him. But before I even knew what happened, Guzma wrapped his arms around me and laid on his back, forcefully, but not roughly, pulling me onto his stomach.
"I'm just so happy I got you for a soulmate."
