A few days passed without anything new happening. I was observing everyone from that other world and honestly they seem harmless. I decided that instead of waisting time that I could be doing other things I decided that I'd go meet with Sona in the underworld instead as planned. With Andrew and Dante here watching them I'll know if something happens. After saying goodbye to the boys I got on my motorcycle.

"You sure you don't want to stay another day John? The amusement park actually sounds like a lot of fun."

"Naw that's ok andi. I have something I gotta take care of in the underworld anyway."

"Alright then, if you need us just call alright."

"Likewise. See ya."

I fire up my motorcycle and I started riding. Once I left the city and was away from people I summoned a magic portal ahead of me up the road and I accelerated my bike. I passed through and found myself riding through this purple tunnel of magical energy. My bike wasn't touching the ground as there wasn't any ground but it still had traction from magic. I smirk and accelerate faster. I had headphones in my ears and AC/DC started playing. You know the song. After a few minutes I reached the end of the magic tunnel and went through a bright light before finding myself on a road approaching the sitri mansion. I sped through the gate and pulled up to the main entrance. When I got off the bike I walked to the main entrance and was met with a maid.

"Lord Death it is a honor to have you staying with us while you're in the underworld."

"Always a pleasure to visit the underworld. I assume that Sona knows I've arrived?"

"Not yet sir. She's in the bath right now and is under the impression that you're Arriving in a few days from now."

"Perhaps I should surprise her then."

"Miss Sitri has informed us that you have full access to the domain and can do as you please. I shall show you the way to the bathhouse. I'm sure miss sitri will be overjoyed to see you early."

"My business in Tokyo was wrapped up early so I decided I'd surprise her."

"I noticed your motorcycle has an interesting color choice. A very white and slightly light green . One might even say "ASHEN" is the color. Was that intentional?"

"Yes actually. Andrew has a black motorcycle. And dante has a white one."

"And I assume your deceased friend had a red one?"

"Yes. Each of our motorcycles has the colour of our horses as read in revelations."

"I see."

We came to a stop outside a door.

"The bathhouse is just through this door. I will take my leave now lord death."

She then left and I walked through the door and found a changing room. I noticed that there was only sonas cloths in there so I took off my clothes and walked in very quietly. I noticed sona in the massive hot spring pool sitting facing away from the door. I snuck up behind her and slipped in carefully. Once I was in the water I noticed her eyes were closed and she was in blissful peace.

"BOOM!!!"

She screamed and jumped up ready to attack but when she seen it was just me she calmed down with a massive blush on her face.

"You're an ass!!!"

"I missed you too. Mind if I join you?"

"Of course you're always welcome. I missed you."

We then relaxed for awhile before life eventually caught up on us again and we had to adult again. We got out of the water and got dressed. We had to get some sleep because we had a party to go to tomorrow. Everyone at the party seemed to be enjoying themselves. I noticed Rias and her peerage where here too but only Rias and Akeno whenever dressed up nice the others where in there school uniforms. Sona and I decided to go and say hello.

"it's good to see you again Rias."

"same to you sona. Welcome. How was your training camp?"

"It was alright."

"there you are sona!!!"

We all looked to the source and seen serafall running up.

"oh great my sisters here!!!"

"it's been a long time lady sarafall."

"oh hi Rias! I see you brought the red dragon and everyone else too!"

"hey sarafall."

"John! I am glad you could make it!! You look great!!"

"thank you. I aim to please."

I noticed Rias, issei and sona roll their eyes.

The party in itself wasn't very interesting. A few young devils decided to show of power by fighting. One even tried picking a fight with me but this bigger guy named Sairaorg Bael stepped in.

"You realize that if you pick a fight with him you will surely die."

"Oh yeah? He doesn't look like much. I bet I could take him."

"If you don't calm down and behave I'll make you. This is your only warning."

"I DONT LISTEN TO BAEL TRASH!!!"

He went to fight him but he was swiftly hit out the door across the hallway and into the wall upside down.

"Thanks for the assist sairaorg. I think he had too much free time and didn't know how to healthily deal with that."

"It was not a problem John. You're probably the only person I wouldn't want to fight. It's not about strength it's your weapons."

A few minutes later after I was chilling by the elevators avoiding people because I can't stand most of them. I then noticed koneko running past me into an elevator. I promptly got into the other one Rias and issei ran in as well.

"We noticed too. Koneko has been acting really weird lately."

"I just noticed she looked in distress so I was going to check on her. But she seemed like she's chasing something."

"It's good that it's just us who noticed. We don't need everyone involved in something that could be nothing big."

We got out of the elevator and ran outside following her. After a few minutes we found her again and hid in a bush behind some trees.

"That looks like karoka. She has a huge bounty on her head as a very dangerous stray devil."

"She's also konekos sister."

We sat in silence after that and watched as they continued their conversation. Until a certain monkey guy arrived.

"Welp there goes our cover. We better step out because he can tell we're here."

"Rias... you're here..."

"Karoka. Koneko is a member of my household. We gremorys always look out for our own."

"Your household? Like that matters She and I are sisters first and foremost, I'm not going to give her to you just because you dane it."

"I'm starting to get bored now. Can we hurry this along?"

The monkey guy then looked at me.

"Ah yes the Grimm reaper is here. Be careful karoka he's the guy who killed vali in cold blood."

"I'm going to give you the rare opportunity to leave here peacefully. It's a rare opportunity I don't give often."

"Oh and why would death give this rare mercy?"

"Because of her." I pointed at koneko. "Even though you're the enemy today I'd rather not have to kill her sister in front of her."

I then drew hope and prepared to kill the monkey. Karoka then spoke again.

"I decided to decline your offer."

I then shot the monkey and at the same time I felt cold in my chest. It caused me to miss my target and only wounded the monkey with a graze to his shoulder. I lost feeling in my arm and it fell to my side and I looked at my chest and seen karoka standing there in front of me with her hand in my chest. I dropped hope and it disappeared before she pulled her hand out of my chest and I fell. Koneko and Rias ran up to me. As I fell to the ground.

"That didn't go as planned..." I coughed blood.

"I can bring you back John! Don't go!"

I shook my head.

I then lost consciousness.
