After we all geared up, we separated into teams and into different cars. I was in the same car as Damon, his uncle Ben as well as Paul. Everleigh and Boss, as well as Ray and Annie, were in a different car. Carter and Wolf were with Ryder and Jimmy in the technology van, being our eyes and ears since their parents don't want them on the front line at such a young age.

I was looking at my phone, flipping through all the pictures I have of Mi Rosa. All I want is to bring her back in my arms and tell her everything would be alright and that I'm here for her but I know it will take time for her to listen and forgive me. I didn't cheat but I let Marisol in my home and let her do as she pleased, that's where I went wrong, and I lied.

"She's beautiful, just like her mother." Ben pointed out looking over my shoulder since he was next to me.

"Yeah, she is." I sighed.

"May I have a look?" he questioned. I nodded and handed him my phone, he swiped and smiled at the photos of her.

"She is truly beautiful." He handed my phone back and I saw which picture he left it at.

My heart clenched in my chest. I took that picture when she didn't think she was beautiful. She had this cute pout on her face. She wasn't looking at me and I just sensed the moment and snapped the picture. She is just naturally beautiful, no need for makeup or anything fake. I showed her that picture and told her how beautiful she really was. All she did was blush bright red and told me I was cheesy. I love that memory.

"And you Damon? I saw you close to that girl earlier." Ben asked his nephew. I saw the glare he sent his way and I knew that he wasn't pleased with interacting with his uncle.

"So? I don't see why she comes up in this conversation." he turned himself further towards the window blocking him out.

We arrived at where she was held and it looked like a crappy place. We stepped out of the car and I saw Everleigh have like a mini panic attack. Damon gave me a look and ran straight to his mom.

"Mum?! What's going on?" he asked looking at her as boss tried to call her down.

"It's here. He died here." she kept repeating. I didn't understand what she was talking about until Carter spoke up.

"I was born here?" he asked in disbelief. I could see the hurt in Rose's mom's eyes. She simply nodded and I saw Carter walk-off followed by Annie.

"Listen, Angel, we don't have time for this. Annie's gonna talk to Cart, you stay here you are in no condition to go in there. I'm not taking no for an answer. The boys and I will go in and the rest of my men are surrounding the perimeter." he kissed the top of her head and gave us a sign to follow him.

We were set in teams, Damon, Boss and I in team one. Ray, Paul and Ben in team two. Annie was directing operations with the other men that Boss called as back up.

We started by knocking out the guards outside to create the surprise once we barge into this run down looking place. I can't believe Everleigh had to give birth here. It's horrible.

Team two went to get Bryan to interrogate him later. Team one was to get Rose out of here. Boss was covering our back as we arrived in a secluded corridor. We shot the guards down and I tried getting the door to open, I didn't need to search the other rooms, I knew she was in this one as it was the only one that wouldn't open.

Losing patients I shot the lock and kicked the door open. I rushed in but the sight I was greeted with almost killed me.

There she was hanging from the ceiling like a punching bag, in the middle of the room. A small pool of blood by her feet. All she had on was an old t-shirt, covered in her own blood. Her head was hung and I couldn't see her face. Her hair was knotted with dried blood. Dried blood was gracing her thighs bruises covering the rest of her body.

I stepped closer to her lifting her head up.

"Oh my god, Roro." I turned to see Damon in complete shock, frozen in his step.

"Don't come in any closer man, it's bad." I glanced at my Rose and my heart broke even more.

"Boys we need to get out of here now." Boss came in I saw the state his little girl was in and that look was the look you never want to see on any parent seeing their child in such a state.

"Kendyn, I want you to Bring her down with the machine in the other end of the room. I'll catch her, Damon, keep guard."

I stepped towards the machine and after a few moments I figured out how it worked. The sound of the machine resonated in the room. The bed that was against the wall was dirty and full of blood. I shivered in disgust seeing in what conditions my Rose was held in. The smell was vile.

"Ken, come help me untie her." I walked to Boss who had Rose in his arms but the chains still needed to be undone. I did what was needed and soon all four of us were rushing out.

Rose was unconscious, her face bloodied, black and blue. The car drove off and Boss was holding his daughter protectively in his arms.

"Boss, we got the prick that hurt the princess, the rest are dead or captured but there was no trace of their leader and no-one wants to say a word." Paul pipped up since he was the one driving. Ash grunted and off we headed to the hospital.

She was rushed to a room to get examined and all sorts of tests done to her. I wasn't allowed in the room with her, only direct family. What a load of bullshit that is!

Damon stayed behind with all his brothers. The rest of the gang went back to the Mortimer's house to check up on the little ones. Carrie made her way to the hospital right away and had now fallen asleep in Damon's arms. I kept pacing the room waiting for Everleigh to step out and tell me all is well with Mi Rosa.

It's been hours since they have taken her in. It's driving me mad not knowing what is going on.

"Kendyn, honey. You can go see her now." Everleigh's voice rang in my ears. I didn't waist a minute and ran off to her room.

The was there lying in that hospital bed, her hair no longer had blood in it, her face was cleaned up but she had a bust lip, a cut on her eyebrow, a black bruise was on her left cheekbone reaching under her eye. Bandages covering her arms and what could be seen on her chest. Needles coming out of her arms attached to other tubes.

"Is she alright?" I asked her mother taking a step closer to her bed, taking a seat beside her.

"We are still waiting for the test results, the doctor gave her some morphine and that knocked her out. She hasn't woken up yet so we don't know what happened exactly." I nodded taking her frail hand in mine.

I brushed some fallen strands of hair out of her face, getting angry at what that shit face of an ex-boyfriend of hers did to her.

"No.. no..please stop. No stop... please." Rose mumbled in her sleep, twisting about.

"Mi Rosa, shhh wake up. It's all over now." I cooed trying to stop her nightmare, but I only made it worse.

"STOP! GET OFF ME! GET OFF ME! PLEASE..." she yelled waking up and pushing me off her in total panic.

"Shhh my princess, mummy's here. Mummy's here." Everleigh rushed over to her side and took a crying Rose in her arms rocking her back and forth.

I stood up for knowing what to do. Her sobs filled the room as she was begging for me to leave the room, pleading for me to stop and get away.

Everleigh gave me a sad look, calming her daughter down. I left her room and slid my back down the wall ending up sitting on the floor. I brought my legs up to my chest and placed my forehead on my knees.

What did they do to her?
