GBN, Gundam Battle Nexus Online, the new network and famous digital world where people all around the world able to battle and show their Gunpla. There's many kind of Gunpla, from mobile suits, mobile armors, support machine and more. This story is about, a team of friends where they fight together in the world of GBN.

At the Gundam Base...

14th Gunpla Battle Tournament...

It shows crowd are lining toward a venue where a special Gunpla Battle is held. Then it shows a boy in his 16. He has blue-grey hair and light blue eyes. He has a white cap at his head, backward, blue hoodie with white shirt with Gundam picture, grey long pants and red shoes. His name is Ryuuga Hiro, and he's a Gunpla fan. Everytime there's a Gunpla Battle Tournament, he will be there to watch it.

Hiro: There's so many people here. As expected, Gunpla Battle is the famous game right now. Kinda lucky that I got a ticket.

???: You should be.

He look next to him and saw a girl around his age. She has black hair tied ponytail at the left side and purple eyes. The girl is named Fujisawa Aya, in her casual outfit. Grey shirt with a bag hanging at her left shoulder, black shirt with white shoes.

Hiro: I never expect that you're a fan of Gunpla.

Aya: You know that I like SD Gundam.

Hiro: I see.

Aya: You don't remember, didn't you?

Hiro: I remember. I just rather like original Gundam and GM unit than SD Gundam, they just mostly made by kids because it's easier to make.

Aya: That depends on how you customize it. Whatever you said, I'm staying with SD Gundam.

Hiro: Just pick which one do you, and don't get lost in the line.

Aya: Who you think you're talking to? It was you the one that mostly get lost easy.

Hiro: Says the one that can't find the way back to the camp during the school trip.

Aya(In mind): He remember that?!

Hiro: I'm the closest one with you since when we're kids. Of course I know, and remember all about you.

Then the line start moving as they follow into the building. When they enter the Gundam Base, they reach the huge room where the Gunpla Battle is being held. It shows some players are sitting at the table while the huge screens shows the battle.

Hiro: Wow...

Aya: So this is how Gunpla Battle right now, huh?

Hiro: That's SD Gundam! The first Zaku unit, and even GM units!

Aya: You're too excited.

A Zaku flies around do some shooting as the scene changes at a red Gundam. It shot by a beam but it block it, and as the smoke clears, it change into vehicle mode and blast a laser at an SD Gundam. The SD Gundam block the blast as the it flies away followed by the red Gundam.

Hiro: Aya-chan, look.

Aya: What?

Hiro: Here he comes, the champion!

The screen shows a light purple and white Gundam. The mobile suit is the Gundam AGEII Magnum, the gunpla of the champion. The AGEII Magnum shoot using it beam rifle and take down a gunpla, and then use two Sword Bit to take down another one. It keeps attack until reach the final opponent. The Gundam shoot at AGEII Magnum but it dodge and take out a beam saber, and slash the gunpla into half causing it to explode.

"It's over! In this Extra Exhibition Online Match, the winner is the GBN champion... Kujo Kyoya!"

Everyone cheer as Kyoya stand up from the Diver Device and raise up his arms.

Aya: Wow... It's so cool!

Hiro: I want too...

Aya: Huh?

Hiro: I wanted... to play Gunpla Battle again... but this time in the GBN. I wanted to fight the champion in same stage as this one!

Aya: That is so much like you...

Hiro: I'm going to make my very own gunpla... and make it strongest!

After watching the Extra Exhibition Online Match, it makes Hiro wanted to play Gunpla Battle even more and determine to make a new Gunpla. His good in both battle and building Gunpla, but...

(Time Skip)

Few Days Later...

At Hiro's apartment...

Hiro: Aaaaaaaaahhh! Someone help me!

It shows he's sitting at his table, with dozens of Gunpla magazines. He have some Gunpla models at the very own shelf, posters and some more others Gunpla mercandise. The problem is, he love Gundam unit so much until don't know which one to use or how to customize it.

Hiro: There's Strike, Astray, Exia, Extreme, Victory, Destiny, Zeta, 00, ZZ, Delta, X, Crossbone...! There's so many of them until I don't know which one to make!!

Then he slam his head on the table as he sigh. Then he look at the Gunpla models on the shelf. Most of the Gunpla was builded by himself, and help from Aya and another friend. Most of the Gunpla models are Gundams and GMs with some mobile armors and support jets, there's not much Zeon or Neo Zeon mobile suits.

Hiro: What should I do...? I like Gundam unit as well as GM unit... Which one should I pick...?

While look at the shelf, he felt his feet hit something. He look under his table and saw a box. He take it out from under the table and brush away from dust from it. He look at the cover, and it shows a picture of Kampfer.

Hiro: This Kampfer... If I remember, Aya-chan gave this to me because she buy this by accident. I'm not really a fan to Neo Zeon unit, but...

He keep looking at the cover.

Hiro: Well, it still one of the best mobile suits. It's not hurts to make it.

He put the box on the table and open the box, showing the parts for the Gunpla. He take out scissor, glues, and some more maintance tools.

Hiro: Let's build you up.

He look at the manual and cut the parts from the frame. He cut them one by one, until it's all done. He start putting the parts together and use some glues to stick it together. Instead of letting it look straight assembly, he put some new paint on it. After done, he put it down and look at it.

(A/N: This isn't mine, but I like the way it was build. Kampfer is one of the Zeon mobile suit unit that I like)

Hiro: Even it's just being newly paint, this looks great. Now, for the weapons...

He takes out the weapons that are in the box along with Kampfer. There's a rifle, twin guns, other weapons and even containers to carries the weapons. Then he do some more painting at the weapons and customize them.

Hiro: Containers to carry weapons, huh? Kampfer can carry lots of weapons because the weight won't slow it down. Well, at least there's weapons that I surely can use.

Then he open the small containers and put some guns and short rifle into them, and then he place the two containers at the back of Kampfer's backpack. Then he take out his own customize gatling gun with some gimmicks and put it at the back waist of Kampfer. And then he put a beam rifle at Kampfer's right hand.

Hiro: Kampfer with two containers, beam rifle and my own customize gatling gun... Sadly, it's look like I won't be using you this time buddy.

He look at the side of his table, showing a GM unit. It was his first customize Gunpla, GM Sniper Drake 03. Only of the best GM Sniper in Japan, and he did win a building contest with it, with the best 8 in Japanese Gunpla Championship using the GM Sniper Drake 03, during when they still using the old game system called GP Duel.

Hiro: I'll make sure that you'll shine again some day. *look at Kampfer* Tomorrow, I'll play with you in the GBN.

(Next Day)

At school...

Hiro is walking through the hallway while looking around. Even if he's wearing school uniform, he still have the cap that is always backward.

Hiro: After school, I'll be playing in GBN.

???: Ryuuga Senpai!

Hiro: Huh?

Then he turn around to look at his junior, Mikami Riku and Hidaka Yukio. Riku has dark-brown hair with blue eyes and mostly seen in school uniform in real world. Yukio has yellow-brown hair with brown eyes and mostly seen in school uniform in real world.

Hiro: Oh, you guys, huh?

Yukio: Senpai, have you heard about GBN?

Hiro: Of course, I saw it during the time when I went to watch champion's fight in the exhibition match.

Riku: I see, you like Gunpla Battle...

Hiro: Yeah. I did win a builders contest before. Yukki, you won in the last contest, right?

Yukio: Yeah! It's great, so will you enter the GBN?

Hiro: It's a world-wide cyber world, who doesn't want to go there?

Yukio: So will you use your GM Sniper Drake 03?!

Hiro: No, I'll be using a new Gunpla that I just made. So when will you guys start?

Riku: We haven't started yet. But, let's meet with each other there!

Hiro: I see, okay, see you.

Then he walk away.

(Time Skip)

At the Gundam Base...

"Gunpla Battle Nexus Online. Opponent from all around the world. A variety of missions and vast playing fields... Team up as a force and play with friends, or aim to be an ultimate fighter on your own. Now is the time to embark on new battles and adventures! Gunpla Battle Nexus Online. Will you able to survive?"

Hiro look up to the screen outside of the Gundam Base building. He look at the Gundam statue and then enter the building as he went to the counter, meeting with someone he recognize.

???: Oh, if isn't it the Gundam freak.

Hiro: Please, I'm not that much.

It shows a woman at the counter. She has short brown hair, dark blue eyes. She wears white shirt, an apron with a Haro picture, short jeans shorts, brown socks and black shoes. Her name is Nanase Nanami, an employee in the Gundam Base.

Nanami: Hi, Hiro-kun.

Hiro: Hello, Nanami-neesan.

Nanami: So what your business here today?

Hiro: My first debut in GBN as fighter. You know that I register already, just didn't bring my Gunpla yet. *take out Kampfer* And his debut as well.

Nanami: A Kampfer? If I remember, you mostly like to use Gundam or GM. So why Kampfer?

Hiro: It's because... Kampfer is my favourite Zeon mobile suit. Also, my friend bought this by accident so she gave me.

Nanami: Ho~? A girlfriend~? You said "she"~.

Hiro: A childhood friend. And there's no way she would like someone like me.

Nanami: You don't know that yet. Also, don't forget about your Diver Disk.

Hiro: I didn't forget about it.

He take out a Divers Disk. It's a triangle disk where there's video footage during the time in GBN, Diver ID and Diver Points.

Hiro: I've been waiting for this moment.

Nanami: So, go and have fun.

Hiro: Okay!

In the Diver Device Room...

He enter the room where there's several other machine called the Diver Device. In this place, Diver and enter the cyber world of GBN.

Hiro: Now, it's time to get some work.

He went to one of the machine and sit on the chair. He take the visor and wear it as he place his Diver Disk on the machine and the room went dark while the blue lights on.

He place Kampfer on the Diver Disk as the hologram scan it as he hold the control handles at each sides.

Then he entered the world of GBN, where Gunpla fighters and builders from all around the world went to play with their friends.

In the GBN World...

The door in front of him opened and he walk into the lobby. It shows many people wearing differently in the place. Then it shows that some of Hiro's appearance already changed. In the GBN, Divers can change their look depends on their states, ranks and points.

Now, Hiro has wolf like ears on top of head while his hair is style blue-grey with the same light blue eyes. His clothes are brown hunter like jacket, blue shirt inside, black fingerless gloves, long white pants, a gun at the holster at his belt and blue-green shoes. He also has a blue-grey wolf tail stick out of his long pants.

Hiro: I knew that I would end up like this. But, this way I look cooler than usual.

???: Well, well, if isn't the Gundam freak.

Hiro: *annoyed* You also call me that?

He turns around and saw the girlish man, Magee. He's a world class Gunpla fighter and ranked 23rd. He has purple hair and purple eyes with a purple star tattoo at his left cheek. He's wearing red short long sleeves jacket, purple and white tight skin suit with the zip open until his stomach and woman boots.

Hiro: Hello, Magee-san.

Magee: Hi, Hiro. So, I see that you come here not for sightseeing anymore, right?

Hiro: That's right. I'm here for my first Gunpla Battle debut in GBN.

Magee: I see. Good, good, I'd like to see your performance in GBN. I hope that you has the same Gunpla control like you used in GPD before.

Hiro: Of course, I do! By the way, where is the place I can take mission again?

Magee: At the Mission Counter. Let me take you there.

While walking toward the Mission Counter, Hiro look around and saw many Divers. Some of them wearing clothes from Gundam series, some look like animals, have elf like ears and more. Then they reach the counter. At the counter, there's a female guide for each info.

Magee: Since you not really a beginner, how about you choose missions like free battle or Serial Battle.

Hiro: I know about the Serial Battle, but is the free battle?

Magee: Free battle is where you fought against Non-Diver Gunpla. It means you'll be fighing unmaned Gunpla that was specialize for that mission.

Hiro: I see. Then I'll take that one!

"Welcome to the Mission Counter. How can I help you?"

Hiro: I would like to choose mission please.

"Okay, you wanted to choose missions. Please choose the mission at this board."

Then a small holographic screen appear. Hiro look closely to the board and slowly slide it down until he reach collect mission.

Hiro: Oh, a Collect Mission. I think I'll pick this one.

Magee: Are you sure? You still new in GBN.

Hiro: GBN almost similar to GPD, that is why I know I can do it.

He press "Yes" at the board. Then it shows that his mission is to get an item called the blue gems.

Magee: I see that you pick the Quest Mission. Blue gems, huh? They mostly seen in mountain areas, so I think it's best for you to try around hills and mountains. First, let's to the hangar first.

Hiro: Okay, I get it. But how would I got to the hangar?

Magee: Like this.

A holographic small screen appear in front of him. He press at the screen and they teleported at the hangar.

Hiro: *look around* Woah! We're at the hangar!

Then he turn around and saw his Kampfer. It completely in live size. Everything here is more different from the real world, and almost similar to the Gundam series itself.

Magee: Oh, this time you use a Kampfer? Where's your GM Sniper Drake 03?

Hiro: To be true, I'm not really wanted to use Kampfer. But it will be a shame if it won't use.

Magee: I see. Then, get going. You know what you wanted to do, right?

Hiro: Yeah.

After entering Kampfer, Magee transfer back to the lobby while Kampfer were moved to the catapult where Diver launch their Gunpla. Divers can contact other Divers by using video cam or sound-only cam.

Hiro: A real catapult? Wow...

Magee: Don't forget the launch scene routine. Now, go for it!

Hiro: *smirk* Kampfer Neo Braver! Here I go!

The catapult launch ahead. As the platform stopped, Kampfer blast itself and fly ahead.

Hiro: Wow! So this is how you fly around when using a real-like Gunpla!

Magee: It is.

While flying, Kampfer cyclop like eye move around, looking at the surrounding areas. Hiro able to see from inside Kampfer and saw many Divers and their Gunpla are exploring and battling.

Hiro: This really bring back memories when I play GPD before.

Magee: Of course it is, so good luck in your mission. Be careful when encounter other Divers, they might trying to challenge you into free battle.

Then Magee hung up as Hiro smirk again.

Hiro: There's no need of good lucks. Ranking not much matter to me.

(Time Skip)

While flying around, Kampfer reach the hill areas. As Kampfer disappear in data, Hiro went down as he went into the caves. After few minutes, he come out with many blue gems in his inventory.

Hiro: Well, I think that's enough.

Kampfer re-appear as Hiro enter it. Then Kampfer fly up and went back to the main base. While flying...

-Nearby SOS signal received-
"Help! If anyone heard this message, we need help! Our force is underattack by another force! Help!"

Hiro saw the area where the signal came from. Then Magee's video call appear.

Hiro: Magee!

Magee: Did you finish your mission?

Hiro: Yes, but I got an SOS signal. What should I do?

Magee: SOS signal, huh? I think it's better for you to try and look.

Hiro: Okay.

Then Kampfer stop as it turn around to went to another area. When it arrived, Hiro saw two Diver is hiding behind a huge rock while a Jegan is shooting back at three Zaku unit. The Jegan keep shooting but then get shot at the left leg making it fall down.

??? 1: Damn it!

??? 2: Just stop! Let's just give up in the points!

??? 3: Leader!

??? 1: No way, I'll do that! I protect our point! And our force!

Diver 1: There's no way you can win!

Diver 2: Just let us beat you and take your item!

Diver 3: The weak are inneeded in this place!

Hiro: Just stop already.

Diver 1: What?

The leader Zaku look up and saw Kampfer as it land between them and the other force.

Hiro: 3-on-1, huh? That's too unfair.

Diver 1: Kampfer? Who are you?

Hiro: Just a person who got an SOS signal. *Kampfer turn behind* You guys that send it, right?

??? 1: You got it?

Hiro: Just let me deal with this.

Then Kampfer turn back to the Zakus.

Hiro: Hey, hey, can you stop? There's no reason for you guys to fight these guys.

Diver 1: Who the hell are you?!

Diver 2: Don't interfere in our business! If insist in interfering our work...

Diver 3: We'll destroy you!

A Zaku dash toward Kampfer using the hover moves as it raise it axe. But Kampfer simply point his rifle at it and blast the Zaku directly at the chest, making explode and disappear into data.

Diver 1: What?!

Diver 2: Only one hit?!

Hiro: If you shoot or attack at the right position, you'll able to defeat anyone.

Diver 2: Screw you!

The second Zaku use the rifle and shoot Kampfer rapidly, but only Kampfer dodge the bullets with minimal movements.

Hiro: That's not even...

Kampfer dash ahead as it take out a beam saber, and laser blade light up. Kampfer duck as it slash up, slashing the Zaku into half and it explode, disappear into data.

Diver 1: No way!

Hiro: Are you still wanted to fight?

Diver 1: N-N-No! I quit! I quit! Sorry for making trouble!

Hiro: Well, it's not like I wanted to fight.

Then Kampfer turn around as it walk toward the weakened force. The leader Diver smirk as Zaku grab an axe behind it.

Diver 1: Got you, idiot!

Zaku dash toward Kampfer. Before it can strike, Kampfer turn around, enter a stance and do the uppercut punch, sending Zaku into the sky.

Diver 1: You know martial arts?!

Hiro: Sorry, but I hate those who attack the weak.

Kampfer shoot the Zaku, causing it explode. Then a screen appear in front of Hiro.

-Congratulation. You've obtain Diver Points. Now, you have ranked up to Rank D-

Hiro: Rank D? This fast? Wow...

Then Kampfer turn around to see the defeated force.

(Time Skip)

??? 1: Thank you very much for helping us.

Hiro: It's fine. I just hate bullies.

Yato: By the way, my name is Yato. This is my teammates.

He point at the girl and the boy behind him.

Serin: I'm Serin.

Hage: The name's Hage.

Yato: We're the Force Max Assault. Well, we just a new force.

Hiro: Force, team created by Divers, right?

Yato: That's right.

Hiro: I see. It's look like there's more in GBN that I need to learn.

Yato: Since you rank D, also good in battle. How about you join our force?

Hiro: Sorry, I decline.

Yato: Huh?

Hiro: I decide that I want to make a force with my friends. It's actually, my juniors in school that likes Gunpla as well. They not didn't come here yet, but I want to have with them.

Yato: *smile* I see. Then it can't help, but can at least become friends.

Hiro: Of course.

Serin: Yippee!

Hage: Friend with someone strong!

Hiro: *giggle* This is like a normal online game. Whatever, I'll add you three into my friends list.

Then they make their own screen appear and exchange some info. After that, they parted in their own ways. Kampfer wave at them while Force Max Assault wave back as it fly away back to the main base.

Hiro: Just the first day is already this fun. At least, I complete a mission and have some fun.

After the mission, he did get some more points. But there will be a new challenge the time when he come here again.

"There have been some disturbence in GBN that cause bugs."

"I see, Riku and Yukki said that they going to a Gunpla Battle...

"What is that? Purple aura and the bugs started to appear... could it be...?"

"These guys are using bad tricks in order to win. What a cheap trick. If you wanted to win, then do it yourself!"
