During the 1960's, Vox was one of the largest musical instrument companies in the world and their products were utilized by almost every major pop music group. However, Vox faultered throughout the 70's and 80's due to evolving musical tastes and changes in corporate ownership.

The past ten years has brought a tremendous resurgence for Vox, with the seminal AC-30 amplifier finding itself not only on rock and classic rock stages, but also gaining popularity in country music.

From The Shadows to Lawrence Welk, The Beatles to U2, Brian May to Brad Paisley, VOX is the "voice" of generations of musicians worldwide.

The Rolling Stones have used Vox amps, but not guitars. Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones) is also the poster boy for Vox amps.
