The Fender Telecaster is probably just as popular as the strat. The Telecaster is the world's first commercially produced solid-body electric guitar.
The Tele, as it is probably best known, has graced stages around the world since the year 1950. This popular guitar has even found its way into the hands of country players seeking twang and hard rockers that want a biting sound.
It's been used on countless records, and a lot of musicians use them including my hero:Keith Richards. He's the poster boy for this wonderful guitar.

If it falls down the stairs, it's still ready to rock that night. While there have been various incarnations of the instrument, it has never strayed too far from the simple formula of a couple pieces of wood, some basic hardware, and simple electronics. The Tele is as simple as it'll get!
