"I am truly sorry for your loss, brother" Elijah said hugging his brother.

"Thank you." Klaus muttered.

"I wish we - could go back in time and change everything." Elijah said.

"It wouldn't change anything. Rebekah and I tried to talk to her. We tried to explain that Father and Mother tricked us in believing that she was dead. That aunt Dahlia couldn't save her from the fever."

"We shouldn't have trusted them. We should have looked harder. Remember that Grimoire where it stated that a witch by the name of Freya Mikaelson was brought forward by Aya Al-Rashid." Klaus said.

Elijah sighed and nodded.

"We thought it was a ploy. And we abandoned the truth that in actual fact this was true." Klaus then said.

"I never thought that Aya's heart could turn so black. So vindictive."

"There is a fine line between love and hate. You know. And she was very much in love with you, brother." Klaus reminded Elijah of the painful fact.

"Inadvertently I cause everyone such pain," Elijah stated,"Elena nearly died because of me and the whole balance was nearly destroyed because of me"

"Elijah, this is not your fault. She put you in an impossible situation, to choose between her and your family."

"Yes," Elijah said somewhat absent-minded,"I still should have done something. I - made so many mistakes - I should have - huh- I so deserve all I got. I deserved worse than being just crippled."

"Elijah stop. You carry no guilt and you have suffered an awful fate. If it wasn't for my hunger for power which grew from my emotional instability, my emotional blackmail - always demanding to be in focus, we would not be standing in front of this tombstone. But here we are. We can drown in guilt, but it will not bring Camille back. I must do what should have been done when she killed Hope, I should have had her destroyed. The Bennett witch offered. But Camille deterred me. I should show nobility - be the better man. Not take life for a life. She believed we could win our sister's heart back."

"Camille was good. More so. A pure heart." Elijah said.

Klaus nodded in silence, his eyes fixed on the tombstone.

"Can you leave me alone. I wish to stay here a while longer. Go with your loved one. Be happy. You deserve it. Elena is a true light."

"Niklaus-"

"Goodbye, Elijah."

As Elijah wanted to speak, Klaus stopped him with a hug and said-
"Go now. Don't let Elena wait any longer."

Reluctantly Elijah left his brother joining the doppelganger, who waited not far from Camille's last resting place.

Later in the Boarding House, Elena enveloped Elijah in a comforting embrace as he told her what Klaus was intending to do.

"We have to stop him. I know he is in a lot of pain and he thinks that this will solve something. But it won't. Also, she has got Cade on her side and he could destroy Bonnie and I won't let that happen." Elena said as she eased out of the hug.

"I agree," Elijah said,"but how can we stop him?  Even if Bonnie Bennett refuses. He will go there to confront her on his own. He does not care if he lives or dies. I know Klaus very well. His voice was full of intent to bring this to the end."

"I know how. Well, there is only one person who can talk sense into him." Rlena said and dialled a number.

As Elena finished conversation with her friend, she sat down next to Elijah, taking his hands in hers,"Everything will be all right."

Elijah took a deep breath.

"It will. I know it. In my heart of hearts, I do. Like I knew that you were not dead."

Elijah squeezed her hand lovingly now pulling it to up to his lips and kissed it.

The doppelganger neared him and restrd her forhead on his gently.

Together they sat quiet for a while, both hoping for the best outcome.

Caroline who was away on a field trip with Alaric, managed to return right in time to find Klaus outside of Mikaelson Mansion.

"Klaus!" Caroline said as she saw the Hybrid step out of the house.

There were no words necessary to tell her the pain, the misery the Hybrid felt. The tears that  shot out told her everything.
