It was just another ordinary day at Mulan Airforce Base. Planes, X-wings, Helicopters, etc... were taking off here and there to deliver supplies and medical equipment to the realms that needed it. Ever since they liberated Pandora, The Pandorians, (what Brunos calls them), have shown their gratitude by helping out the Royal Navy. Most of them applied to be mechanics, while some of them just stayed on the sidelines to help their families. Angeni and Norm were in charge of training the new recruits since Steve was always busy, so they all report to him.

Speaking of which, Boss has gotten a fever after doing some training in the mountains. So for the last couple of days, he wasn't able to participate in any missions. Thankfully, they were just patrol missions, but still. He was relaxing on his bed, wishing that he could get better soon so he could help his friends. With the New Order still active, who knows what could happen.

Boss: [Sneezes] "Dammit! I can't do anything if I'm like this! How am I suppose to keep a promise if I'm sick?! ARGH! This sucks!"

Just then, he heard a knock on the door. He quickly got dressed, put on a mask, and went to see who came to check on him. At first, he expected to be the base nurse. Instead, it was Rex, and based on what she was wearing, Boss was as red as a Tomato.

Boss: [Blushes] "R-Rex?! W-What are you wearing and why are you here?! Not that I don't mind." [Checks her out] 

Rex: [Annoyed look and crosses her arms] "What does it look like? It's a maid outfit. I lost a bet against Attessia and now he's making me walk around the base like this... again. Also, I'm here to check on you since James has already taken Guardian Squadron on a patrol mission. So it's just you, me, my squadron, and some of your non-pilot friends."

Boss: [Sweat drop in the back of his head] "Lost another bet, huh?" [Sighs] "Since your here. Wanna come in?"

Rex: [Smiles] "Don't mind if I do..."

Rex entered the room and noticed that Boss's room was a total mess. She looked around and noticed that books, clothes, posters, and a lot of other things were all over the place. Totally expected from a boy's room.

Rex: [Looks around] "Yesh... This place is a mess." [Looks at Boss] "What the hell happened here?"

Boss: [Sniffing and coughing] "It's a boy's room, what do you expect?"

Rex: [Crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow] "I expected to be a little bit cleaner, but not like this. Come on, you're helping me clean your room..." [Smirks] "And I'm not taking NO as an answer."

Boss: [Surprised] "EH?!"

Minutes went by as Rex and Boss were cleaning the room. Boss handled the laundry, the messed-up posters, and the trash. While Rex handled the sweeping, mopping, and organized everything into place. After  10 minutes of hard cleaning, the room was finally organized. He was put into his bed while Rex went to get some hot soup for him. For Rex, this wasn't new to her. For Boss, it was his first time experiencing this.

Boss: [Crosses his arms and looks up] "I can't believe this is happening. First Rex shows up in a maid costume, second, she helps me clean up my room, and now she's getting me some soup?! I guess birds of a kind do flock together... But for some reason, why does it feel like I'm living a married life. GAH! Get your mind out of the gutter! She's helping you and you better be thankful!" 

He let out a sigh as he looked outside the window and watched a squadron of 4 F-16Cs took off as they formed up with two T-70 X-wings. They circled the base for a few minutes before they entered the realm portal and headed off to who knows where. He couldn't help but wonder how James and the others are doing. All he wished was that he could just recover and get back up in the air ASAP. Just then, the door opened and Rex has returned with a bowl of soup in her hands.

Rex: [Opens the door] "Sorry I'm late. Took a while to get here."

Boss: [Sits up] "Don't worry about it. I'm the one that should be sorry." [Rex pulls up a chair] "I'm making you do all this when I should be the one doing it myself."

Rex: [Sits close to Boss. Looks at him and Smiles] "You did a lot in the last couple of days. You should rest up, it's our turn to help you. Besides, we need a healthy you if we want to beat the New Order." [About to feed him] "Hai. Open wide."

Boss: [Blushes and takes a bite] "You know I can feed myself, right?"

Rex: [Smirks] "I know, I just want to see your reaction." [Boss Takes a bite] "So... how is it?"

Boss: [Eyes sparkling] "It's delicious!"

Rex: [Blushes] "Is that so..." [Hands Boss the bowl of soup] 

Boss: [Starts devouring the soup] "Man! Whoever made this needs a raise pronto!" [Takes another bite] "What kind of soup is this?"

Rex: [Smiles] "It's Demon Chilly soup. My father used to make it all the time whenever I was sick. It always fills me up."

Boss: [Looks at soup] "Demon Chilly... Huh. Never heard of it until now. I got to have this more often!" [Starts devouring the soup] 

Rex blushed as she watched Boss devoured the soup. But little did he knew, she was the one that made the soup for him. But she was watching him devour her cooking, she thought of something on the spot. Even though she knew that it'll ruin the mood, she had to tell him.

Rex: [Sighs] "Boss..."

Boss: [Looks at Rex with a mouth full of soup] "Hm?"

Rex: [Sad Expression] "I hate to be the spoiler, but I found out the news about Grandpa." [Boss stops eating and looks at Rex] "He was brought up to the Star Destroyer and was beheaded. As for Noctis Village... No one survived. The New Order went down there and executed everyone... Including the children. No one survived... I... I feel like I just... I..."

Boss noticed that Rex had tears streaming down her face. Even though he was sick, he put the soup aside, sat up straight, and hugged Rex. She was caught by surprise when he hugged her. But seconds later, she hugged him back as she cried her eyes out. She had nothing left, the only thing that she can consider her family would be her Squadron and her sister Meru. 

Boss: [Comforting her] "I'm sorry, Rex..."

Rex: [Sad smile] "Don't be... it wasn't your fault. He sacrificed his life to save ours. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be here to this day."

Boss: [Sad Expression] "He was a good man... and he will be remembered forever..."

Rex: [Pulls back and looks at him] "Can I tell you something? I've... been wanting to tell you this for a while..."

Boss: [Comforting smile] "Sure. What do you want to tell me?"

Rex: [Takes a deep breath and exhales] "I... I used to be bisexual. When the war between Disney and Tartarus started, there was this girl that I used to love. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. Whenever I was down, she was always there to comfort me. Whenever I needed help, she was there to support me. To this day, I still can't believe how a girl like her existed in the underworld. Anyway, she was a part of my squadron and was the team's number five. Everyone loved her and wanted to be around her. She had the smile that could turn any frown upside down and not only that, she was beautiful. 4 months after she joined the airforce, I learned that she had feelings for me. At first, I was surprised. I didn't know how to react since it was the first time that a girl confessed her feelings to me. Besides my parents, my sister, and my grandfather... No one ever loved me before. So I gave her a chance and we started dating. It was an interesting start... but as time went on... it became something more. Attessia, Samantha, and Zach knew about our relationship and they were happy for me. I still remember her name to this day... Lily. Her name was Lily."

Boss was surprised by what Rex had said. This is the first time that he learned about her past. He sat back and continued to listen to Rex.

Rex: [Smiles] "Lily was quite an interesting girl. Clumsy. Smart. A little airhead. Tremendous appetite. In short, she was the total package." [Pulls a picture of Lily on her phone] "She was the love of my life. And then, just when I thought I couldn't get any luckier. I got to meet her parents and they accepted me into their family. They wanted me to marry her." [chuckles] "I really had it all..." [Sad expression] "Until... that one day... when The New Order showed up... My whole world... Came crashing down..."

[Flashback. December 25, 2020]

The Resistance was being pushed back to their northern borders. The Heartless Airforce was sending thousands upon thousands of fighters toward them. The southern part of the underworld was already controlled by the Heartless and Rex, along with her squadron, were giving they got to hold them off. However, things were no looking good.

Attessia: [Growls] "Dammit! They've broken through the front lines! We can't hold on forever! WHERE ARE THE GOD DAMN REINFORCEMENTS?!"

Rex: [Shoots down a tie fighter] "Don't Give Up! Help is coming! We just need to hold on a little longer!"

Samantha: [Grunts and shoots down a tie fighter. Forms up with Zach] "How much longer do we need to hold on for?! We're running out of missiles and ammunition!"

Zach: [Looks at Rex] "Captain! What do we do?!"

Rex felt sweat dripping down her face as she tried to come up with options. If they lose this battle, then the resistance will be no more. Just then, Lily formed up next to Rex after she shot down a Heartless F-15C. She was flying an F-14D tomcat. 

Lily: [Determined] "Everyone! I know that you're all scared. But we can do this! Rex will come up with something and I believe in her! If anyone can pull off a miracle, it'll be Rex."

Rex: [Smiles and looks at Lily] "Thanks, Love."

But just after Lily gave that amazing speech, they spotted a massive battalion of fighters heading toward their position. Everyone formed up with Rex, ready to take on the battalion. Seconds later in a blink of an eye. The Battalion was wiped out before them in seconds. 

Attesia: [Shocked] "What the hell?! Where did that come from?!"

As everyone was confused, Lily was the only one that looked around. The sky began to turn dark and her canopy started to get cold. Her mind was racing and her heart was pounding and as soon as she looked up, she thought her heart stopped.

High above them were hundreds and hundreds of Star Destroyers and based on their designs, Lily knew exactly who they were. The New Order had arrived... to rain death upon the underworld.

Lily: [Terrified] "Oh shit... IT'S THE NEW ORDER!"

As soon as Lily said that, fear had struck their hearts. Within seconds, thousands upon thousands of tie fighters were going straight at them and Rex was scared out of her mind. 

Rex: [Eyes widen in horror] "EVERYONE RETREAT! RETREAT!"

But it was too late. Like a pack of wolves, The New Order fighters encircled them and forced them to converge. Rex watched in horror as The Heartless fighters get picked off one by one. Easy prey for the New Order Fighters. Lily was terrified and Rex was shocked by what she had witnessed. The New Order was killing anyone that dared to oppose them. Friend or foe, it didn't matter. Rex watched in horror as she saw her comrades and the Heartless fighters getting killed without any mercy. 

Lily: [Scarred out her mind] "Rex! What do we do?!"

Rex looked at Lily and could hear the despair in her voice. She wanted to hug her and comfort her. But she knew now wasn't the time. Just before she was about to say something, a New Order tie fighter attacked them from above. Forcing Lily to separate from the squadron.

Lily: [Looks up] "Woah!" [Banks away from the squadron]

Rex: [Notices Lily break away from the squadron and her eyes widen in horror] "LILY!"

As Rex was about to save Lily, a squadron of tie fighters came in from the right, forcing her to turn left. Attessia and the others tried their best to fight off the fighters to give Rex a clear path. Rex was doing everything in her power to stay alive and as soon as she looked back, she saw Lily getting chased by 4 tie fighters. 

Rex: [Terrified] "Lily! They're on your tail! Shake them off!"

Lily: [Grunts and does maneuvers] "I-I can't shake them! Rex, help me!" [tears streaming down her face] "I don't wanna die!"

Rex: [Trying to fight the tears] "You're not going to! I WON'T LET THEM KILL YOU!"

With skill and determination, Rex tried everything in her power to get to Lily. But the more she fought, the more fighters showed up. She saw Lily trail smoke on her right-wing.

Lily: [Gets hits on the wing] "I'm hit! REX!"

Rex: [tears streaming down her face] "Hang on, Lily! I'm coming!"

But as soon as Rex got to Lily, it was too late. A New Order tie fighter came out of nowhere as its laser tracers struck Lily's right engine, causing her to fall out of the sky in a spiral.

Lily: [Screaming while spiraling down]

Rex: "LILY!" [Goes after Lily] 

Lily's F-14D was on fire and she was spinning out of control. She was screaming and with tears streaming down her face, calling out for Rex.

Rex: "Eject Lily! EJECT!" [tears streaming down her face]

Lily quickly grabbed the ejected lever and yanked it with all her might. But as soon as she yanked it, nothing happened. She tried again, again and again. But no matter how hard she tried to pull the lever, she wouldn't eject. She pulled on it so hard, that she broke the lever. Her eyes widen in horror as she looked at the lever in her hands. She looked forward and saw the ground approaching... it was at that moment that she realized. She was gonna die.

Lily: [Looks at Rex with tears streaming down her face] "Rex. I'm sorry..."

Rex widened her eyes in horror as she noticed Lily wasn't able to bail out. Lily closed her eyes and put her hands on her chest, ready to accept her fate. Seconds later, her plane smashed to the ground causing a tremendous explosion. Rex grunted as she pulled up just in time while she looked back at Lily's plane. Smoke and fire were all over the place. No one could have survived that crash.

Rex: [tears streaming her face and screams] "LILYYYYYYYY!"

[End of Flash back]

Boss was in total shocked by what he just heard. Rex went through so much pain that words couldn't even describe it. He cupped her face as Rex leaned in his palm. With his thumb, he gently wiped away a tear as they looked into each other's eyes.

Rex: [tearing up] "To this day... It still hurts. I... I can never get rid of the images that I saw that day. Her plane... Her cries... Her voice... all slamming into the ground... Gone. When I got back and told the family after what happened, they were devastated and cried their eyes out. To this day, I never sew them again. I may not know where they are... I just... I just..." [tears streaming down her face] 

Boss felt bad for Rex as he saw the tears stream down her face. He tapped his lap, telling her that he was willing to comfort her. Rex got up, sat on his lap, leaned into Boss's chest, and cried softly. He slowly wrapped his arms around her and comforted the broken demon girl. 

Boss: [Sad expression] "I'm sorry that you had to go through all that, Rex..."

Rex: [Looks at him] "It's okay... It's all in the past now. I need to move forward." [Blushes and wraps her arms around his neck] "You know... you remind me of her. She cared about her friends as much as you do... Never gave up. A little clumsy. Cute. but most importantly..." [Leans in and their foreheads touch] "She had the ability to change people... just like you. I may have been bisexual back then. But now, I realized what I truly am... I'm straight and I'm not afraid to admit it. Boss... you are the best thing that ever happened in my life. If it wasn't for you... I would have flown off to who knows where... Because of you... I was given a second chance..." [Pulls back and looks at Boss] "I love you, Boss. And I will give up my life... to protect you."

Boss smiled when Rex told him that. Rex gently kissed Boss before she pulled back and pressed her forehead against his. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Boss broke it.

Boss: [Looks at Rex] "Hey Rex..."

Rex: [Pulls back and looks at his eyes] "Yes?"

Boss: [Sad expression] "There's... There's something that I have for you... Mind if you get up for a second?"

Rex got up as Boss made his way to the drawers. As Rex watched him with curiosity, Boss pulled out the dagger that Brian gave him before he died.

Rex: [Surprised] "W-what is that?"

Boss: [Hands the Dagger to Rex and looks at Rex with a sad expression] "It's your grandfather's dagger. The same one that he used during the Great Demon war. He told me to give it to you when the time comes... and now is that time... He loved you, Rex and he'll always be in our hearts..."

Rex looked at the Dagger before the tears started to drip again. She held the dagger to her chest and started to sob softly. Boss gently stroke her hair as he was comforting her. Deep down, he felt responsible for Brian's death and the destruction of Noctis Village. They were after him and they'll do whatever it takes to get him. This boosted his hatred toward the New Order & determination to end the war once and for all. He wasn't going to let anyone die, not on his watch.

After finishing the soup, Boss laid back on his bed as he quickly fell asleep. Rex was sitting on a chair next to him as she gentle stroke his hair. She couldn't help but smile at him as she watched him sleep. It reminded her of the time when Meru was very little and she used to sit next to her as she was falling asleep. Times have changed since then.

Rex: [Chuckles] "He is one interesting character that's for sure. Who goes up to the freaking top of the mountain with no shirt on? What kind of idiot does that? Well, he's my idiot. One thing is for sure, I'm in love with him. Even though I know he might have someone in his heart, I want to do everything in my power to make him fall for me. Because my feelings for him are real. They are not fake, they are not for desire, they are not for status. They are not for dominance... These are my true feelings. And I'll do everything in my power to protect him in the skies." [Looks at the Window with the sun shining] "No matter what happens. I promise that you'll always be in my heart..." [Pulls out her phone and loads an image of Brian, Her squadron, Meru, herself, and Boss all huddled next to an F-14D tomcat] "But I think it's about time that I made some room for other people too. You understand that... Don't you, Lily?"

She put the phone away as she looked at Boss sleeping. She put a hand on her heart and felt it throbbing, causing her to blush. She got up from her chair and started to lean in. But just before she was about to kiss him, she heard the swung door open and quickly turned her whole body. Only to noticed Katelyn walking in with a bag of groceries, catching her by surprise.

Katelyn: [Gasp in Surprise] "!"

Rex: [Nervous] "Uh..."

Katelyn: [Startled] "Ah, G-Gomen'nasai! I didn't see you there."

Rex: [Puts a hand on her neck] "Nah, it's good. I was just leaving... You're Katelyn, right?"

Katelyn: [Smiles] "Yup, that's me. You must be Rex. Leader of... Uh..."

Rex: [Crosses her arms] "Hell Hound Squadron..."

Katelyn: [palm to the face] "Ah yes! Sorry about that. My mind gets cloudy once in a while." [Nervous laugh] 

Rex: [Raises an eyebrow] "Yeah... So, why are you here in Boss's room? If you don't mind me asking."

Katelyn: [Walks past Rex] "Well, James sent me a message to check on Boss to see how he's doing. He's always worried about him ever since he got back. He's like a little brother to him."

Rex smiled at Katelyn as she put down the groceries to check on Boss. She looked like a mother checking up on her kid to see how his conditions were. Rex smiled and thought about her dad when he used to do that. Just then, she remembered that she had to do something.

Rex: [Puts a hand on her neck] "Well... I must get going. I need to check in on my squadron to see how they are doing."

Katelyn: [Looks back at Rex] "Alright, I'll be here making sure Boss is okay. The nurse should be here any minute now."

Rex: "Cool..." [Walks toward the door] 

Katelyn: "Oh, and Rex..." [Rex stops walking and looks back at Katelyn] "You must of really like him that much to put on a maid uniform." [Smirks at Her] "You even tried to kiss him when he was sleeping. you naughty girl~"

Rex: [Blushes] "W-What are you saying?! I have no idea what you are talking about!"

Rex rushed out of the room and Katelyn couldn't help but snicker as she watched her leave. She was like a child running from embarrassment. 

Katelyn: [Smirks] "She is such a tsundere." [Looks back at Boss] "Now then..." [Pulls out some medicine] "Let's get you patched up.."

After Rex changed out of her Maid outfit, She was making her way to the hanger to check on her plane when she heard constant yelling coming from the crew room. At first, she thought that it was one of her wingmen. But as soon as she looked, it was just Bruno & Fuuno and they were debating about the one thing that everyone least expected. Food.

Fuuno: [Puts his hand out] "Aye! Aye! Listen to me! I'm a big fan of Banana Pudding! I'm representing for the culture with the Banana Pudding! But listen, I don't use vanilla wafers! I don't do that!"

Bruno: [Annoyed] "Then you can't -"

Fuuno: [Shakes head] "No. No. No. No. No. I don't use vanilla wafers, okay? I use pepperidge farm... Okay?"

Bruno: [Crosses his arms & raises an eye brow] "Pepperidge farm. Pepperidge farm, really?"

Fuuno: [Crosses his arm and smirks] "Pepperidge farm Cookies. Now look, I'm a little boogie when it comes to my Banana Pudding!"

Bruno: [Points a finger at him] "Then that's not a representative of culture!"

Fuuno: [Puts a hand on his hip] "No, it is a representative of the culture!"

Bruno: [In disbelief] "That's not a representative of the culture at all!"

Fuuno: [Groans and rolls eyes] "Listen! If I don't eat or talk about Banana Pudding!" [Throws out his arms] "Then... I'm dead to the culture right now, Alright?"

Bruno: [Puts up a finger] "Hold up. I will say this..." [Smirks at Fuuno] "Pepperidge farmer knows..."

The two brothers laughed their butts off and Rex just rolled her eyes and couldn't help but smile at them. They were like kids just talking about something stupid again. It reminded her of the time when she was talking about legendary pilots with Attessia. Those were the good old days.

By the time she got back to the hanger, she noticed that Meru was relaxing in the cockpit of her F-14 tomcat. Even though she was 13, she still acted like a little kid. Rex couldn't help but roll her eyes to see what her little sister is up to. 

Rex: [Raises an eyebrow] "Meru. What are you doing?"

Meru: [Looks at Rex] "Hey Sis, don't mind me. I'm just chillen in your tomcat. It's kind of comfy in here and I love what you did with it. It looks so much cleaner compared to back then. Did you add an air freshener in here? Cause it smells really nice."

Rex: [Climbs up the ladder and goes next to her] "You do know that I was cleaning this thing, right?"

Meru: [Smirks] "Oh come on. Don't be like that. Besides, ever since you became the Flying Ace. I always dreamed of having my own fighter jet. I always wanted to feel the adrenaline flow through my veins."

Rex: [Puts a hand on Meru's head] "I know that..." [Sad Expression] "Grandpa told me about it before..."

Meru: [Looks at Rex with a sad expression] "Rex... Grandpa may be gone, but we have each other now. We have to move on. I was devastated too when I heard about what happened to him and to our home... But if we want this war to end, then you and your squadron need to give it everything you got. Boss is the key to ending this war... And you know it."

Rex: [Smiles at Meru] "I know... that's why I've decided to fight alongside him and lay down my life for him... No matter who we face, I'll dive into the fireworks with him. If I have to fight off an entire battalion for him... then so be it."

Meru: [Smirks] "Hehe. Aside from you having Boss all to yourself. I've gonna have my own fighter one day. Rather a badass X-wing or Tomcat. I want to fight alongside you. We're sisters after all..."

Rex: [Smiles] "I know you little rascal..." [Pats Meru's head] "But you have a long way to go if you wanna become a great pilot someday. I believe in you..."

Meru noticed that Rex was a little upset. She knew about Rex's relationship with Lily. Just then, she got up and hugged her big sister. Catching Rex by surprise.

Meru: [Sad smile] "You told Boss about Lily... didn't you?"

Rex: [Sadly smiles and hugs Meru back] "Yeah... I did."

Meru: [Looks up to see her] "Rex, I know that it's been some time since Lily passed. But I want to let you know this... I'm always here for you." [Smiles] "And If I'm right... I'm guessing that you saw her spirit in him. Didn't you?"

Rex: [Sadly smiles] "Yeah... I did."

Meru: [Hugs Rex even tighter] "Onee-san. Thank you... Thank you for being the big sister that I grew up with. Thank you for being the big sister that fought against the Heartless. But Importantly... Thank you for being the big sister... that I always wanted."

Rex couldn't help but smile at Meru. She felt like crying because that was the sweetest thing that anyone said to her. She hugged Meru back and her tail started to wag. As for Meru, her tail was always wagging when she accidentally hit the button turned on the tomcat's engines. 

Meru: [Nervous chuckle] "Whoops..."

Rex: [Rolls her eyes and smirks] "Smooth..." [Shuts off the engines]

The Next Day

June 19th, 2021. 10:00 Am

The following day was normal as always. X-wings, Planes, & Venator ships were still coming and going. Guardian Squadron was checking up on Boss and Rex was checking on her plane making sure that there weren't any damages. After all, it's her plane so she has to be responsible. Ever since yesterday, Rex couldn't stop thinking about Boss. She was worried about his condition and she hopes that he'll be better soon to participate in missions again. Just then, Rex spotted Amelia was walking toward her with Jane on her right side. 

Amelia: [smiles] "Ms. Rex..."

Rex: [Turns around and salutes Amelia] "Admiral, What brings you here today?"

Amelia: "Just want to let you know that you'll be going on a patrol mission in 2 hours." [Smiles] "You and Boss will be patroling the realm of Aladar. Apparently, we've been getting reports about New Order activity there. Since you two are the best of your squadrons, we want you to check it out." 

Rex: [Smiles and Eye's Glitter] "So, he's all good?!" [Amelia and Jane smirk at her] [Rex blushes as she clears her throat] "I mean... Yes, Ma'am. We'll be ready for launch."

With that, Rex left to find Boss and Jane could tell that Rex was in a happy mood. Apparently, springtime has come for Rex. 

Jane: [Looks at Amelia] "She definitely has a thing for him. I can see it in her eyes."

Amelia: [Looks at Jane] [Crosses her arms & smirks] "You think I don't notice that. She has the hots for him ever since she came to this base."

Jane: [Giggles] "She reminds me of you when you had the hots for Doppler."

Amelia: [Smiles and Blushes] "Well... I'm not gonna deny that. But you were the same thing with Tarzan. If I remember correctly." 

Jane: [Looks at Amelia & Blushes] "I was not!"

Amelia: [Smirks] "Yeah... Sure." [Starts walking toward the base] "Now come. You are gonna help me today with the briefing."

Jane: "Sweet!" [Follows Amelia]

They made their way to the base as they continue to talk about the good old days when they were younger.  But now that time has passed, a new generation will take over for them. The only thing that they can do was cheer them on while watching them fly from below. Amelia knows that her time is running up along with Jane. The best thing that they could do was live the moment and enjoy life while it lasts.

Rex: [Smirks] "You got it." [Pulls out her phone and connects it to the speaker][Hits play] "Now this is more like it..." [Starts working on her jet while Meru looks outside the hanger] 

Me: [Pulls out sunglasses] "I couldn't agree more..."
