Sasha

I made it back to my cottage. I had a feeling this would be the last time I would see this place. So I took a video of every room, the front and the back of the cottage.

I grabbed two duffle bags and stuffed everything I could in them. Clothes, shoes, hygiene products, spell books, and potions.

I grabbed some snacks and water bottles for the road.

After I finished packing, I left the cottage and went to my stables. I watered and fed my horse.

I needed to hurry up. I had a feeling that King Toby wasn't just going to let me go.

After my horse was fed and watered, I got him saddled up and tied the duffle bags onto him, got on him, and left. I headed east towards the vampire Kingdom.

I was halfway to the vampire Kingdom when I heard horses coming.

Oh shit, they found me!

"There she is!"

"Hiya!" I made Raven go faster. I needed to lose these men ASAP.

I knew the second I was in Raven Field, and they could no longer chase me. I just had to make it there.

Then to make things worse, they started shooting arrows at me.

"Shooot Her! Shooot Her!" Carlos ordered.

I was in vampire territory, and they could no longer go after me. I was safe. I kept riding until I reached Sky's place. Thanks to those lames with the bad aim, I made it.

I knocked on the door. Of course, Sky answered it. She looked happy to see me.

She hugged me.

"You would not believe what I've been through," I told her as I pulled away. She let me in the house. "I also put my horse in your stable, if that's cool with you," I mentioned.

"I'm glad you made it here! I can't believe you quit!" She didn't sound that shocked.

I put my stuff down. "Oh, come on, I think you already knew."

We sat down in the living room.

"You right." She admitted.

We laughed.

Sky's powers are mind-reading, teleportation, and manipulation. But she'd never try to manipulate me, and we're friends.

I set my stuff down, and we talked for an hour.

"Let me show you where you'll be staying." I followed Sky as she led me to a bedroom.

I grabbed my duffle bags and got settled. Sky said she would get started on dinner.

Her cottage had two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms.

I took a shower, changed clothes, and joined Sky in the Kitchen.

I was so glad I was with her again. It's like I filled a missing piece in my life. She made it whole again.

Carlos

"Dammit! She got away! Let's go burn her cottage down!" I ordered, and we changed directions and headed back west. We almost had her. She was in our sights, and she still made it to Raven Field. That's a damn shame. I shook my head.

Once we reached her place, we torched it to the ground just like we were told to do.

It was the most exciting highlight of my day.

"You didn't get her, did you?" King Toby asked. I was in his office.

I shook my head. "Sorry, Lord."

"Thanks for at least trying."

I bowed and left the office. I felt terrible that I failed my King.

I still had one more card to play here. I took out a pen and paper and began to write a letter to the vampire King.

Dear Fortis,
This is King Toby, and I have a favor to ask of you. Recently a Witch from my Kingdom went to yours. I put a picture of what she looks like. If you could please retrieve her for me, I will pay you in gold.
~Toby.

I doubt this will work, but it's my only shot. I put the letter in an envelope, then put my special seal to close the envelope.

Carlos had entered my office.

"You had called for me, Lord?" He bowed.

"I need you to get this letter to Fortis," I ordered.

"You want me to go into the vampire Kingdom by myself?" He said in dismay, fear lacing his voice.

"You can bring a few men with you; just get it done." I handed him the envelope.

"Yes, Lord." He left my office quickly.

I picked Carlos to be my head guard because he was brilliant. He wasn't courageous; that was one of his flaws.

Carlos

I picked three men to go with me to the vampire territory. I had seven more men with me when we went to retrieve Sasha earlier.

We saddled up and rode our horses East. I hated making this journey. It wasn't too long; it's just the vampire Kingdom isn't a pleasant place. Vampires are ruthless.

We approached the border of the vampire territory. Then we crossed it.

"Halt!" A vampire guard appeared and ordered. "State your name and business."

We stopped in our tracks. I think he came from the bushes. I'm not sure.

"Hi, I'm Carlos, the head guard for King Toby. This is a letter from our king to yours." I told him.

"Oh, you work for that Dragon King. Interesting. Yeah, I'll get your letter to King Fortis." He smirked as he walked away.

"That was easy. Let's head home, guys." We turned around and went back west.

Ella

Stella and I got to watch Edward again. He had light brown skin, brown eyes, raven hair. He wore a light green and white onesie. We were in his nursery room.

I wore a yellow crop top, with blue high-rise jeans and white high-top vans. My brown hair was in a neat bun. I had foundation and black eyeliner on.

Stella wore a burgundy crop top, dark-blue high-rise jeans, and black high-top vans. Her hair was curled and in a high ponytail. She had black eyeliner on.

Edward is a ten-month-old baby. He learned how to crawl last month. The Queen wanted a few hours to herself, and she trusts us. We told her we would have no problem watching him again. She said when we turn sixteen, we would be getting a job here. She'd hire us to watch him. That was an easy job.

"I think he wants to get out and crawl around," Stella said.

"Let him; it's good to let a baby crawl around. That how they develop muscles." I said as I took him out and put him on the ground. He immediately began crawling, going from one side of the room to the other. "He looks happier now."

"Ella, come over here. I want to show you something on my Apple Watch!"

"What?" I walked over to her.

"Walkie talkie app. Open yours."

I obeyed and opened mine.

She said something into her apple watch, and I could hear it on my Apple Watch.

"That's so cool," I told her.

"Where's Edward?" Stella asked as she looked around.

Right where we left him?

I turned around. "Shit!" He was nowhere to be found.
