Some people support Soren and Gylfie as a couple, but I don't! There are three reasons to this, they are that Gylifie and Soren are different species of owls so they couldn't breed (Gylfie is way smaller than Soren!) and Soren does a real mate, Pellimore, who appears later in the series with three chicks, Sebastiana, Blythe, and Bell, and besides, Gylfie is much more like a sister or a school friend to Soren than a mate! I think this is like the friendship between Ron and Hermione in the Harry Potter series, many people support them together as a couple but they are really more like siblings,(I think)
