Meeting the Guild
Pylvia would occasionally scratch her Sylveon's head, who purred in reply.
"You know, I never was a fan of battles, but something changed." Pylvia muttered, seemingly having a conversation with Sylveon.
"Pylvia, is something wrong?" I ask her, checking my tablet to see where we are headed to.
"I was just talking to myself. No need to use the tablet, our location is hidden. Besides, we're almost there." She glanced back at me, her tired eyes looking directly at my tablet.
"You keep saying 'we'. Who are these other people?" Clemont asked her. He took his glasses off for a mere second, wiping them on his sleeve.
"The guardians' guild. The guardians need a method of communication, because we need to make sure the legendaries can maintain good relationships with each other." Pylvia looks down hesitantly at the mention of relationships.
"I see a building in the distance!" Ash points over towards the surprisingly large villa.
"That should be it." Pylvia begins to walk faster. She has surprising speed, as she begins to jog towards the villa.
"Wait up!" I begin to sprint towards her, jogging once I've reached her.
"Yeah! Wait up!" Clemont, at the back of the group, yells with a sigh.
"You're always behind big bro!" Bonnie races forward, not fast enough to over take me or Pylvia. Ash begins to sprint. He passes me and Pylvia with ease. Only then, does Pylvia begin to sprint. Her Sylveon runs in front of her and Ash, pulling her in front. She begins to trip, only to be completly picked up by Sylveon's feelers.
"That's cheating!" Ash calls out, trying his best to pass her. By now, Sylveon has dropped Pylvia, who has began to sprint to the villa with a look of determination.
"Damn, she's fast!" Ash lets out a chuckle before continuing to race her.
Me, Bonnie, and Clemont, are left to bite their dust. Soon, the villa is in near. Ash, who is now in front, begins to jog to the front door. Pylvia takes the opportunity to sprint in front of him, placing a hand on the handle.
"Finally, we're there!" Clemont sighs through his pants.
"You must promise to be quiet. Any other questions?" Pylvia looks back at us, tilting her head slightly.
"No, its okay." I reply, walking closer to the door.
We step inside, she closes the door behind us, and begins to take off her shoes. When she notices Ash walking on ahead, she motions for him to stop.
"Ash, please take your shoes off, so as the rest of of you. It tracks dirt in if you don't." She places her shoes on a rusted gold tray, besides other pairs of shoes.
"Sorry." Ash mumbles as her removed his shoes, placing them beside her's. The rest of us do the same.
"Follow me to office, its quieter there." Pylvia begins to lead us through the house. There's a well furnished dining room, with porcelain figures in a cabinet at the back. Then, an empty living room, with only a couch, chair, and TV. Then we catch a glimpse of the kitchen. The kitchen has a modern style. Stainless steel appliances and counters compliment the wooden drawers. A kitchen island centers it, a bowl of candies that resemble Sylveon's bows rests off to the side of it. We pass through other rooms, a library, an office, a room with nothing but a piano. Pylvia looks back at us, with a look of embarrassment.
"Sorry that none of it matches, we all have different tastes." She looks around the hall way, full of unmatching decor.
"Its quite all right, no need to be embarrassed." I reply.
We begin to walk up a parted stairway. On the wall, many pictures rest in frames. I see few pictures of Pylvia. In one picture, she is standing with what looks like her parents and a brother, an eevee sitting in her arms. In another picture, a girl with green hair and orange eyes is singing for a large crowd. In another picture, a girl with blue hair and green eyes is sitting besides Pylvia, the girl with green hair and orange eyes, and a girl with platinum hair and purple eyes. In the next picture, two girls, one with red hair and brown eyes, the other with blue hair and yellowish eyes, are posing for the camera with shirts reading 'We Love Camp Guardians!'. In the final picture, a girl with blonde hair and black eyes, a girl with redish orange hair and brown eyes, and a girl with black hair and electric blue eyes are dancing with the same shirts the girls from the picture before were wearing on a stage.
"We're almost there." Pylvia informs us, as we begin to walk towards another flight of stairs. On the second floor, only two of the six doors are open. In one, the girl with green hair and orange eyes is singing. On the other, the girl with platinum hair and purple eyes is playing on her computer. We begin to walk up another flight of stairs.
Once at the top, she leads us to a bedroom. It looks to be hers. In the center, a rosewood bed stands tall under piles of pink blankets. On the walls, numerous photos rest in frames. A pink dress with grey ruffles rests on a hanger. The room looks as of it is barely used.
Pylvia leads us to an office attached to her room. It has a long glass table, surrounded by wooden chairs. The girl with red hair and brown eyes is sitting beside the girl with blue hair. Across from them, the girl with blonde hair and black eyes, the girl with redish orange hair and brown eyes, and the girl with black hair and electric blue eyes are talking. The oldest girl has purple hair and smokey eyes. She addresses Pylvia as we enter.
"Ron and Carla are bringing over the boy. I see you brought Yvonne." She points to me before getting the others attention. "Everyone! Pylvia has brought Yvonne." She claps her hands, before sitting down.
"We better introduce ourselves, shall we? I'm Summer Ócëane! Guardian of Kyogre!" The girls with blue hair and yellowish eyes announces.
"I'm Gale Ezter, guardian of Groudon." The girl besides Summer motions towards her her earing, which is her key, before adjusting her glasses.
"Astrid Von Irid! Guardian of the graceful Articuno!" The girl with black hair announces.
"I'm Blake Theris, and I'm the guardian of Zapdos!" The blonde girl from beside Astrid yells.
"I'm Maria Tresento, I'm the guardian of Moltres." The girl in the middle of Astrid and Blake whispers. Suddenly, three girls arrive at the door, taking their seats.
"Sorry we're late, I feel terrible for causing you to wait." The girl with platinum hair sits besides the girl with purple hair.
"Its okay sis, we're still waiting for Ron and Carla." The girl with purple hair whispers to her before speaking to us. "I'm Theresa Montay. I'm the guardian of Mewtwo."
"And I'm Mew's guardian. My name is Mirai Montay, Theresa's sister." Mirai took her seat, smoothing her shirt.
"I'm Melody Arenoa. I'm a singer, and Meloetta's guardian!" The girl with green hair neatened her black headband as the girl with blue hair and green eyes beside her spoke.
""I'm Cielia Tristin, Celebi's guardian!" She giggled on completing her sentance. A girl and a boy walked in, another boy following him.
"We have the boy, good day to you." The girl with teal hair spoke, before leaving the boy behind her. The other boy left as well. For some reason, I recognized him.
"Calem?!" I yelled in disbelief. He looked at me with startled eyes.
"Oh, Serena, you're here too." He rolled his eyes and sat in one of the empty seats.
"Yvonne, take the seat next to Xavier." Theresa pointed to the seat beside his. I take the seat before Bonnie addresses them.
"There's no seats for us!" She pouts, crossing her arms.
"Sorry but you're not guardians, so naturally we request that you go amuse yourselves else where." Pylvia explains to her.
"Where would we go?" Clemont asks her.
"Pheobe and Gina are down on the kitchen. They'll find something for you to do."
"Fine." Bonnie and Clemont begin walking out of the office.
"I'm staying with Sere!" Ash insists on staying here.
"Fine, stay with Yvonne." Theresa mumbles.
"Why do you keep calling us by our last names?! You know them, don't you?!" I angerily yell at them.
"Shut up!" Maria screams at us,before sinking back in her seat. "Sorry, just, umm, please listen to Theresa." She bowed her head before facing Theresa.
"Thank you Mari. Anyways, you have been called her to complete a mission. Xerneas and Yvetal have been fighting for most of their existence. They have been reeking havoc. As their guardians, its your job to fix this."
"But how?" Calem asks from beside me.
"That's for you two to figure out. This isn't an official guild job, it was a personal request from one of the members." Theresa explains, patting Mirai's head.
"Who's request?" I ask her. This whole ordeal is confusing as hell.
"It was Pyl's. Pylvia to you." Astrid pointed at the silver haired girl.
"Why do you want us to do this?" Calem asks her. She sinks in her seat.
"People are getting hurt!" She tells us with desperation. Her eyes widen in fear as she fiddles with her key.
"How come we never heard of this?!" Ash yells at her. She scoots her seat back before explaining.
"They were in the Hoenn region before. Recently they moved to the Kalos region. Cylagge City, far from here. The reason this matters so much to me is because of my mom. She was in Cylagge, before getting caught in a fight. She was hit, and it put her in coma. That was five years ago. She passed down the Diancie Key to me. That's when I became a guardian." She looked down before fixing her braid.
"As you can see, this is very important to her. I know you won't want to stay here though. All the other guardians live here, but not you two. And I know you aren't a big fan of us anyway, I don't need to get to know at this point. To you, I should simply be your client. That's why I call you two Xavier and Yvonne." Theresa explained before standing up. "Summer, Gale, and Pylvia will show you how to use the keys. Good luck, Xavier, Yvonne. I will be watching."
