Chapter 1: Keys and Companions
I walked forwards, further in my walk through the valley.
"What do you think the key was for?" Bonnie asks me. She begins to fix her side pony tail.
"I don't know." I reply. The key in my hands is black, with red crystals. An hour ago, a Sylveon had dropped it in front of me.
"Its also worth noting that the Sylveon had reached out to pat your head before dropping it." Clemont adjusted his glasses before letting out a sigh.
"What if someone owns that Sylveon?" Ash speaks up from besides me.
"Maybe, but it wasn't mine." I call out my Sylveon and show her the key.
"I see you've found the key." A girl with silver hair and blue eyes steps in front of us, blocking our path.
"Was that your Sylveon?" I question her, showing the key.
"Correct. Sylveon completed her objective perfectly!" Suddenly, a Sylveon, presumably hers, jumps at her.
"Why did you give me this key?" I step closer to her, now close enough to see that she is around eleven, her hair neatly parted into braids.
"How else do you except Yvetal find you, this key is the essential part." She digs through her bag, looking for something.
"What do you mean Yvetal?!" Ash angrily steps towards her. She quickly steps back, before continuing her search.
"Before I tell you anything, you are Serena Yvonne right?" She looked at me, nodding her head in a rhythm, as if checking off a mental checklist.
"Yes, how did you know?" Confused as ever, I notice a shimmer reflect out of her bag.
"Serena Yvonne, I have come to ask you for something. You may not know this, but you are Yevetal are connected, via spirit and telepathy. You need to help stop Xerneas and Yvetal's fights, before someone else gets hurt!" At the mention of someone getting hurt, a tear glimmered in her eye.
"What do you mean I'm connected to Yvetal?! And what about their fights?!" I screamed in frustration, causing her to jump back.
"I'll explain everything back at the base, all you need to know is that that key connects you and Yevetal via telepathy. Ah, found it!" She pulled out a glimmering object as Ash replied.
"Why should she go with you, she doesn't even know who you are!" Ash screamed at her, and I saw her eyes widen in fear.
"If you want to know that bad, my name is Pylvia Diamond. I'm Diancie's guardian." She thrusts a key towards us. Its gray, with pink diamonds.
"Guys, let's just go with her. She mentioned people getting hurt!" Bonnie insists that we follow her, and my own curiosity gets the best of me.
"Okay, I'll go." I put the key in my bag, before stepping towards her.
"Its preferred that your friends stay here, knowing you wouldn't want them dead." She looked over at my friends, Bonnie, Clemont, Ash, I had never thought about leaving them.
"We can't leave Serena! What if she gets hurt?!" Ash, once again, screams at her. Pylvia scoots away from him by a foot.
"Yeah!" Bonnie shouts in agreement.
"You really don't know your place with the legendary Pokemon, do you? But at your own risk you may come. Next time you scream out me, I leave you behind though." She motions towards Ash, before walking into the grass.
We follow close behind.
