Rapunzel POV

Gothel. My mom who I betrayed by going to the academy. I am a horrible daughter. The entire moment is bitter sweet for me. She held open her arms. I was debating whether or not to hug her.

"Come to mommy." She said in a sickeningly sweet voice. I backed into Eugene and he wrapped her arms around me.

"Why are you doing this mother?" I asked clutching onto Eugene's arms.

"Because I love you. The young prince said he would help me get you back. Now come here sweetie. We're going home." I stayed put. She tilted her head and got angry. "Please Rapunzel I missed you. Just come home with me. Let us spend one last day and then you can go back to your little school. Just let me say goodbye to my only daughter properly." Guilt started building up and I slipped out of Eugene's grasp. I stepped over to my mother and hugged her.

"Goodbye Mother." I said tears welling up. I got a good look at her. She looked reasonably older.

"Rapunzel will you sing the song, you know for old times sake?"

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine Make the clock reverse Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine." I could feel her running her hands through my hair. When I turned around I saw her look like the woman I used to know.

"I'm afraid I can't let you leave." I froze in shock at her eery tone. I felt tight cold metal rings around my wrists. I struggle but it was no use I was chained to the castle wall.

"Gothel let me go!" I said trying to pull free.

"Oh Rapunzel haven't I ever told you? Mother knows best."

"Let her go!" Eugene yelled stomping towards Gothel. She pulled out a knife.

"Eugene Stop!" I yelled but it was too late. She forced it into him and he fell to the ground.

" NO!" I yelped along with Elsa, Kristoff, Jack and Hiccup.

"Mother let me save him. You can take me if you just let me save him. I'll go with you forever."

"Fine. But don't try anything or all your friends will suffer the same fate." I nodded and she unchained me but held onto part of my hair.

I walked over to Eugene who was clutching his stomach in pain.

"Don't worry its going to be okay." I said frantically wrapping my hair around his abdomen.

"Rapunzel. You were my new dream." I stared into his eyes, blinking away the tears.

"What?" Before I could stop him, Eugene pulled out a dagger and cut off my long golden hair.

"NO!" Gothel and I screamed at the same time.

"I couldn't let her take you." He croaked. I tightly embraced him. Gothels shrieks interrupted our moment. I turned around to see her clutching at her face as she shriveled up. Then POOF. Gothel disapeared.

I turned back to Eugene to find him lifeless. I can feel the tears. No. First Merida. Now Eugene? Please just take me next. I thought.

My tears fell onto his corpse and yellow sparkles started shooting up and around.

"What's happening?" I asked. I looked around for an answer.

"Magic." Jack and Elsa said at the same time. I watched as Eugene's wound closed itself and he let out a breath.

"You know Blondie, I've always had a thing for brunettes." He chuckled hoarsley. I hugged him and got up so I could go try and heal Merida.

"What a touching moment. Now since you've gotten rid of some of my friends, a different one has offered to get rid of you. You all know who this is. Pitch?"

Jack gritted his teeth.

Jack POV

"Hello Jack. Who are your friends?" Pitch's eery voice rang in my ears.

"Back off Pitch. I'm not afraid of you."

"You aren't but someone is." I turned to look at my friends who stood their ground.

"We're not afraid of you!" Hiccup said confidently.

"I sense fear here. Let me see which one. Eenie-" He pointed at Hiccup. "Meenie-" He pointed at Kristoff. "Miney-" He pointed at Rapunzel. " You."

Elsa.

"Miss Queen of Arendelle is absolutely terrified." I stepped in front of her.

"Don't touch her." I snarled.

"You know Jack I've gotten stronger since the last time we met." He chuckled. It was sickening.

"Elsa he feeds on fear. Don't be afraid. I'll protect you." I said not turning my back on Pitch.

"It will be hard to protect her when you're on the ground."

"What?" I felt a push and I was on the ground.

"I've also learned how to make special black sand that can knock people out." He blew sand into the faces of Hiccup, Rapunzel, Kristoff and Eugene. They fell to the ground. All that was left was Elsa and I.

"So Elsa now that it's just the three of us, do you want to tell Jack why your afraid?"

"Please don't make me." She whimpered.

"Do you think he's going to think you're a monster? That he won't accept you?" Elsa fell to her knees clutching her head. She was crying. I tied to move closer to her but something was holding me back.

Elsa POV

I couldn't tell Jack my secret. Even if he is like me I'm a freak. He was given the powers I was born with them. He is fun, I am pain. All I've ever done is hurt my sister.
You know Elsa, nothing goes together better than cold and dark. I heard a voice in my head. I fell to the ground crying. I tried to get the voice out but Pitch was controlling my mind.

"Please stop." I begged not being able to take it.

"Pitch it's me you want! Leave her alone!" Jack yelled. Pitch ignored him and moved closer to me. Before long he was right in front of me. His hand outstretched. His hand was grey. I didn't know what to do.

"If I go with you will you let them all go?" I asked.

"Okay."

"And Anna!" I yelled more to Hans.

"Yes of course. Everyone will go free."

"Elsa No!!!" Jack yelled.

"Shut it Frost. " Pitch snarled.

"I will go with you willingly if they all go free and you let me say goodbye to Jack." I said confidently. Pitch's smirk faded as he sensed my courage.

"Fine but any funny buisness and your sister dies." I gulped and nodded. I walked over to Jack and knelt in front of him.

"Elsa please don't go. I don't want to lose you."

"Jack please. Take them back to the academy. Get the guardians to come find me. Then they can help you defeat Pitch and save me." I gave him one last kiss. I started to walk towards Pitch when I heard sleigh bells. North.

The next few minutes was a blur as the guardians defeated Pitch and he disapeared. Hans was ft defenseless so he returned Anna. He ran before we could catch him but I didn't care. I had my sister back. We turned around to grab Merida before piling into Norths sled but there was no body. Merida was nowhere to be seen.

"Its okay children. Your friend is safe. Now Let's get you all back to the safety of the academy where we will dole out your punishments." North said ushering us all into his sleigh. We turned to look at our dragons but they were already on their way back to Berk.
