Anna POV

It has been a month since we have been back at the academy. Today is the selection ceremony when they will announce who the new guardians will be. We got in trouble for running away and stealing from North. Elsa tried to defend us but she was still hurting about Merida. Losing Merida took the most toll on Hiccup. He stayed in his room for an entire week not talking to anyone. He wouldn't come out for anyone. One day Elsa went in and convinced him to come out and eat with us. He did. Hes not the same Hic he was before but hes working on it.

The ceremony would be similar to a school dance. The new guardians would be announced at the end, similar to a prom king and queen announcement. I got dressed and made my way to the training room which had been cleaned by yours truly and my companions and decorated for the special event. The training room now looked like a banquet hall. When I entered I searched the space for my friends. They were relatively easy to find.

Rapunzel wore a beautiful lavender dress. It had short sleeves and a long skirt. Her short brown hair was straightened so it went past her shoulders. Eugene wore a suit with a lavender tie to match his girlfriend. Hiccup wore a suit with a red tie. I wore a light green dress with a bow. I let my hair fall loosely down my back. Kristoff wore a suit and a green tie that matched my dress. Elsa and Jack had still not arrived. Jack came running in with an ice blue tie, probably to math Elsa's dress.

"Where's Elsa?" I asked him.

"I don't know. I thought she was here. Maybe she forgot something and went back to her room. She's probably fine." Jack shrugged. I felt a bit worried but I knew Elsa would be here.

As the night continued on Elsa was still nowhere to be seen. I guess she never really has been a fan of parties.

The guardians walked on stage and demanded out attention. I knew this was it. We were either going to become guardians or go back to our own lives.

"Hello Students! We are proud to say that we will be announcing our new guardians." North boomed.

"To announce our guardians, we would like to invite the newest guardian up onstage. Jack Frost!" Tooth announced. Jack made is way on stage while murmurs filled the room.

"I am very happy to say that five people in this room have been invited to become guardians." Only five. There are six of us. This might not be the news I was hoping for. "If I call your name come up on the stage. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III!" Hiccup walked onto the stage. Jack gave him a bro hug before Hic took his place. "Eugene Fitzhurbert!" Punzie hugged him before he went up. "Rapunzel Corona!" Rapunzel and I squealed before she ran up to the stage and clutched onto Eugene happily. "Kristoff Bjorgman!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and he went up leaving me alone in the crowd. "Lastly...Anna Arendelle!" The moment felt bitter sweet. I wish I could share this moment with Elsa.

"These are our new Guardians!" North boomed. We all hugged but our moment was interrupted by a snotty voice in the crowd.

"THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!" Ella yelled to them.

"Miss Tremaine we took careful consideration when choosing our guardians."

"OH REALLY? A CHUBBY BLOND BOY? A GRIEF STRICKEN SCRAWNY KID? A THIEF? A USELESS BRUNETTE AND A WIMPY FIVE YEAR OLD?"

"I am eighteen!" I yelled to the bully in the crowd.

"They have good hearts! They have a strong bond that can't be broken." Tooth snapped at the girl.

"I don't think you should've chosen the idiot over me! She doesn't even no how to pronounce her own name!" Ella yelled.

"HEY!" a new voice entered the conversation. All eyes turned to her. An insanely beautiful girl wearing a flowing icy blue dress stepped away from the crowd. She had perfect platinum blond curls in her hair. "Don't you dare talk about my sister or my friends like that!" Elsa. "They are all better people then you will ever be."

Elsa POV

I couldn't stand to hear her call my friends names like that. Especially my little sister.

"You can take your snobby attitude and your minions and get out of here!" I yelled. Ella looked insulted but stomped out of the room. "And just so you know...BLUE IS MY COLOR!"

Everyone cheered as she left.

"Now lets get back to congratulating our new guardians!" Bunny said in his thick Australian accent.

We were all cheering when there was a crack. The stage broke and Anna, Rapunzel, Hiccup, Eugene and Kristoff fell through the floor. You could here there screams as they fell through what seemed like a bottomless pit. My sister and my friends were dead. I tried to run but I couldn't move. The world seemed to be closing in on me. The grief overwhelming me. They were gone. I finally started to move. I started running to the stage. Towards Jack.

"ELSA NO!" Jack's voice was the last thing I heard before I fell and everything went black.
