Into the castle we go!

I'm honestly surprised with myself. On my first story I could never come up with any names for my updates but here I am naming ever update. I honestly don't know what changed, but I'm not gonna question it. I hope you enjoy today's update and I'll see you at the end!

"I can't believe we're actually doing this. If the king finds out he's going to have us beheaded!" Janus was speaking in a whisper, but his point was getting across.

Somehow Remus had convinced both Logan and Virgil to sneak Virgil into the castle. Honestly Remus's people skills were better than Janus's and Janus had magic to help him. Virgil had decided to accompany them back home when Remus decided to strike. Over the week it took them to get home Remus had won.

Janus honestly didn't think they would make it past the citadel, but here they were past the citadel. Janus was really anxious about the whole thing, and it certainly didn't help when footsteps and multiple voices could be heard heading there direction. Remus's first instinct was to hide Virgil and Janus. Virgil because the only thing hiding his wings was a flimsy cape. Janus because he was considered an outcast even though it had never been made official. Remus quickly, acting on instinct, pushed Janus and Virgil into a nearby room, shutting the door behind them.

Remus positioned himself in front of the door, while Logan just stood there. A group of guards rounded the corner, most likely coming back from training, chatting with each other. The guards fell silent as they spotted Remus ahead. Remus wasn't very popular with knights after he embarrassed them in battle. The knights silently passed Remus, giving him ugly looks as they did.

Once they were out of sight Remus opened the door to the closet he had jammed Virgil and Janus into. Janus gave Remus a slap on the head as payback for shoving him into a cramped closet even though it had been to save him. The group continued on, but had to keep stopping to get Virgil. Virgil had kept stopping to look at everything. He seemed to find everything interesting. In the end Janus just grabbed Virgil's hand and dragged him along.

Finally they reached Remus's room without being caught. As they opened the door to Remus's room Roman rounded the corner. Remus pushed Janus, who collided with Virgil, then shut the door behind them. Remus stood protectively in front of the door as Roman came closer.

"Logan! Where have you been!"

Roman marched over to Logan, completely ignoring Remus.

"I was out gathering herbs, sire."

Roman narrowed his eyes, staring into Logan's eyes. They stared at each other like that until Remus piped in.

"Are you guys about to make out~"

Roman looked away from Logan to Remus. Hatred filled Romans eyes as he looked at his twin brother. Roman narrowed his eyes at his twin.

"And what are you doing here?"

Remus shifted his weight onto one foot, crossing his arms over his chest. Remus raised an eyebrow as he smiled.

"This is where my room is."

Roman opened his mouth to say something, but stopped. The truth is Roman had nothing to say back to Remus, Remus was right after all. After a moment of having nothing to say Roman turned to Logan.

"What are you going with him"

Logan's eyes narrowed a little, but Roman didn't seem to notice. Logan knew he couldn't tell Roman why he was really her. Luckily Logan had thought ahead and already had an excuse in mind.

"Remus asked me to come and check for signs of sickness. He claims to have a cough."

Remus smirked as he faked a cough, smirking slyly at Roman, as he held his throat.

"My throat's been acting up," Remus balled his hand to a fist and coughed into it, shaking his head after words.

Roman tched, clearly seeing through Remus's fake sickness. This wasn't the first time Remus had asked Logan to check him for some sickness he didn't have. Roman had always hated when Remus would do that, but knew better than to say anything in front of Remus. Remsu would just do it more if Roman complained. He had learned this the hard way.

"Whatever, Logan, come see me when you're done."

With that said Roman took off in the direction of his room. Logan followed Romans figure only turning back to Remus once Roman was out of sight. Remus huffed out a chuckle.

"Someone's a little protective" Remus turned back to Logan, and wiggled his eyebrows.

Logan ignored Remus's antics and pushed past him into Remus's room. Logan was stopped short when the door hit something. Logan peered into the room to find Virgil holding his nose, a pained expression on his face. Virgil removed his hands and tilted his head upward as blood gushed out of his nose. Virgil placed his hands under his nose, blood filling his hands.

"Logan! What did you do!?" Janus rushed over to Virgil, who was sitting on Remus's floor. Remus squeezed past Logan to see what Janus was talking about.

Virgil smiled shyly as a spoke,"Sorry"

It had taken forever to get Virgil's nose to stop bleeding, but alas it stopped. It wasn't the best, you could still see some blood on his face and bits of tissue were stuck in his nose, but it worked. Janus was surprised by how much blood could come out of the nose. While Remus seemed mesmerized by the crimson red oozing from Virgil.

"That should do for now," Logan said as he stood from his crouched position.

Virgil nodded as he tried to look at his nose without a mirror. Janus chuckled at Virgil as he picked up the last of the bloodied tissues. Virgil twitched his nose, trying to make the tissues feel more comfortable on his nose, but gave up after a few seconds. Virgil looked over to Remus,

"So what now?"

Remus honestly had no idea what now. You had successfully gotten Virgil into the castle but now what were they going to do with him. He hadn't thought this far ahead and he was starting to regret not thinking ahead.

"I don't know..."

Remus laid himself onto his bed next to Virgil, contemplating what to do. Janus chuckled as he saw Remus's regret. Janus always knew that one day Remus was going to get into trouble because of his refusal to think ahead. Janus had always helped Remus get out the situations Remus got into because he hadn't thought ahead, but today he wasn't going to. Better go before I get dragged any further into this, Janus thought. This would be his revenge on Remus for dragging him into a race against a man eating giant.

"Welp, I better be going. Don't want to get caught walking home in the dark."

Janus said goodbye and was out the door before Remus could say anything.

"I best be on my way too, farwell Remus, Virgil."

Remus called out to Logan, falling off the bed in an attempt to reach out to him. Remus groaned into the floor as he heard his door close. Remus rolled over then sat up, looking over to Virgil .

"Why'd you have to agree to this."

Remus fell back down, splaying his arms out. He ground again as he laid his forearm across his face.

"I agreed so I could prepare you for your destiny,"

Remus lifted his forearm from his eyes, looking at the ceiling in confusion. He slowly rose into a sitting position then turned his head to Virgil.

"What are you talking about?" Remus asked, confusion clear in his voice.

Virgil stood, casting a long shadow.

"You Remus are destined for great things and it is my job to prepare you for this destiny,"

Virgil turned to Remus. Virgil's figure was basked in the gold rays of the setting sun. At the moment Virgil seemed like an angel and for a second Remus thought he saw a faint halo around his head. Virgil outstretched his hand to Remus in a welcoming manner.

"Do you accept?"

I'm kind of surprised I actually updated today. I know I said I would post every morning on week days but usually I don't stick to things like that when it comes to writing. Even if it's just for a few days, I'm way to incompetent. Can you guys also tell me what you think about me not posting on weekends. I personally like it because i gives me a break from writing and gives me time to flesh out ideas. Though if you guys don't like it I'm sure we can come up with a compromise. I hope you have a wonderful day, afternoon, or night. Until next time you beautiful beans!

Bye!
