Part 3: Saying Goodbye (Part One of Two)

Ronnie Anne and Lincoln are just friends in this fanfic. And I like to offer new insight on why I'm not adding any Loud House girls to the harem. Don't get me wrong, They all are great, but I don't want to constantly use them for every fanfic that I have.

Lincoln

It's been three days since my life changed in an instant. My parents were currently in jail after pleading guilty to the charges of neglect and child abandonment. A fact that relived me since I wouldn't need to testify against them. On the other hand, my sisters were let off the hook given my grandmother expressed no interest to sending them all to jail. I knew that most of the people in Royal Woods were unhappy with the result, but I didn't care about that. Despite what they did, I didn't want to ruin their lives.

They were my sisters despite everything that they ever done to me. However, none of them bothered to visit me or even come to my farewell party. It was sad, but not totally unexpected seeing how they're still reflecting on their actions. I was cut off by these thoughts when I felt Ronnie Anne place her shoulder on me.

"How are you feeling lame-o?" She asked. He knew that her older brother, Bobby recently broke up with Lori when the news broke out. News that honestly shocked him since Bobby has madly in love with Lori and would do anything she asked of him without question.

"I'm feel unsure of things. Don't get me wrong I'm sure that I'll love this island that my grandmother lives in eventually. But I have to leave lots of people behind." I said.

"I feel the same way. My mother is thinking of moving us to Great Lakes City." Ronnie Anne said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because she didn't want us to get contaminated by the actions of your sisters and parents. She's worried that we may end up becoming monsters or something like that by hanging out with them." Ronnie Anne said.

"Wow. I never thought that one action would cause your mother to panic." I said.

"Can you really blame her though? Bobby and Lori dated each other for months and she could've manipulated him to do something truly despicable to another person. But enough about that....Lincoln, things will get better for the both of us. We just need to stay strong and no matter what we can still chat with each other." Ronnie Anne said. I hugged her and took her words to heart. Things may be tough for a while, but everything will get better. Which reminds me..Where is Clyde?

Clyde

I knocked on the door of the Loud House and patiently waited for one of Lincoln's sisters to open the door. Before you make assumptions, I stayed by my best friends side through all of this nonsense and I'm ready to put an end on my feelings for Lori. Speaking of which...she opened the door which made me see her beautiful blonde hair and her signature outfit. A sight that usually made me think that she was a goddess.

"Clyde? What are you doing here?" Lori asked. I took a deep breath before I started to speak again.

"I wanted to tell you some things before I head over to the departure party that Lincoln's having." I said.

"Is it another one of your failed confessions of love again?" she asked.

"No. Lori, I decided to stop trying to date you." I said surprising her a little bit.

"What brought this on?" Lori said.

"Your actions against my best friend for one. But there are other things involved on why I need to stop trying to succeed in a love that has no future at all." I said.

"Like..." Lori said softly.

"Look, you're way older than me and I missed out on several opportunities to get a girlfriend my own age. Plus, I can't spend all of my life trying to score a date." I said.

"Sigh..That makes sense. So what happens now?" she asked.

"I'll stop dropping by this house. My parents heard about what you did and want me to wash my hands of all of you excluding Lincoln." I said.

"So you're the second family who wants to wash your hands of us." she said.

"Second?" I asked confused.

"Mrs. Santiago wants to move her entire family to Great Lakes City. Not like I'm surprised seeing how she expressed her disgust at me at the supermarket." Lori said.

"Can you really blame them? You betrayed one of your own for something that doesn't exist and I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want my children in danger of being corrupted by any of you. But that's besides the point, I should be angry at you for what you did. However, I decided not to do so." I said.

"You talked to Lincoln about this." She said.

"Yes and he told me that I shouldn't stay angry at you forever. But that doesn't mean that I can trust any of you to have my back." I said. Lori nodded and I slowly turned to walk away before I was pulled back and given a kiss on the cheek.

"Before you say anything, I wanted to give you one last reminder of our time together. And I'm sorry that I blew you off so many times." She said before closing the door. I stood there for a couple of seconds before shaking my head. If I still loved her, I would be threw the moon..however, it was time for me to set my sights on a special girl that caught my eye for a long time.

But first, I needed to head over to that party and spend some time with my best friend. Who I wouldn't give up for the world.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter....Bye 👋
