It was two days later that Ximen's hangover properly broke from F4's night out drinking. Yingyue had spent her time wisely teasing him for his inability to recover from a night drinking. They weren't at the point yet when hangovers were unavoidable and would always set you back for at least a couple of days. Yet the way he was acting it was as if they had reached this point.

The morning he awoke and admitted his hangover was finally over, was the day it actually mattered. For she knew if he was still feeling the effects of the alcohol and couldn't concentrate on this day he would regret it for years to come. In fact for the first time in over 48 hours he was awake before her and not in bed when she woke. Yingyue had gently brushed her hand over the other side of the bed expecting to find a solid lump of human laid next to her. Yet all she had been met with was the soft feeling of the bedsheets.

Immediately she bolted upright in bed just wondering where he had gone. Checking the time to see whether they were late getting up, she was shocked to see just how early it was. The time read six thirty am and she was confused it was unlike him to be awake and doing something this early in the morning. Their first class started at 9am and it barely took anytime to get there. What was he doing?

Her answer came just ten minutes after she had sat up in bed. The bedroom door was slightly ajar when she woke and suddenly it was pushed fully open. Through the doorway came Ximen who was struggling to balance a tray in his hands. His face was one of pure concentration, the same one she saw when he crammed to finish his dissertation, just last week, the day before the deadline. He eyes were focused on the tray as he obviously tried to not drop it or spill the contents as he walked. Ximen finally looked up as he made it half way into the room, she gathered it was due to him wanting to check she was still asleep and whether he would have to wake her or not. Upon noting that she was indeed awake, his face morphed into one of slight shock before it was quickly replaced with a beaming smile.

"You're awake!" He exclaimed the smile stretching to reach his eyes as his pace quickened to place the tray on her lap. Yingyue finally took the time to see just what he had brought her. Upon the contents of the tray were an assortment of breakfast items as if he didn't know what to make ad just did a bit of everything.

"Good morning Xi, what's this for?" Yingyue paused in her sentence indicating down to the tray laid upon her lap. Ximen only attempted breakfast in bed when he wanted to soften her up for something.

"Nothing, can't I just make breakfast for the woman I love?" He rebutted attempting to make out that it was absurd that she thought anything else.

"If you were anyone else I would have believed that." Yingyue replied watching his face as he faked an offended look.

"It's for nothing. I haven't done anything. I haven't shrunk one of your jumpers attempting to do the washing." And there it was his admittance.

"Babe come here." Yingyue had shifted so she was sat crossed legged in the bed and tapped the space in front of her. Ximen scrambled to sit there almost as if he thought she was going to shout at him if he did not. Instead, she moved to offer him some of the food. As he hesitantly took the offering, it took everything in her to not burst out into laughter. His timid actions thinking she was mad at him were everything. Sure it was early in the morning but this was just funny. She continued to feed him and herself until the tray was empty letting him believe she was still partially angry at him. Silence soon settled over the pair and yingyue watched as he looked at her with eyes that could beat Bambi.

"You know I'm not angry right?" She spoke a few minutes later bursting into laughter when he began to splutter.

"I've been sat here thinking you were going to explode at me at any second." Ximen started his sentence strong but ended up whining by the end of it.

"We can replace a jumper, plus everything's a little small right now."  She shrugged before moving the tray to the half of the bed which was empty.  Almost immediately Ximen moved forwards controlling his fall as he landed gently upon her. Yingyue wrapped her now empty arms around him and rubbed a soothing pattern on his back.

"Love you." He mumbled as his eyes closed and Ximen returned to the land of sleep.

Classes for the friendship group all ended at 12pm that day. Even Lei who did not take the same main subject as the other four was finished at midday. Therefore, the group had plans for that afternoon to have dinner together like old times sake. Or so that was what Meizuo had said in terms of trying to convince everyone to attend. In all honesty it was all in the airs between Lei and Si once again regarding Shancai and that was the problem with getting the group together to do anything at the present moment in time. And every time they did get together when alcohol wasn't involved said boys starting arguing over the young girl they were both 'in love' with where it definitely seemed more like an infatuation. Yingyue didn't want to be mean and belittle their feelings and deny what they thought it just felt in those moments when they were arguing over who was the better partner for her, that part of it all was the competition between the two more than anything else. Like they were both trying to one up each other more than anything else. And she felt sympathetic towards the girl stuck in the middle.

That was until they realised that they probably couldn't do this meeting today. It was unfortunate for the most part, but not very deep down Yingyue was happy she didn't have to sit watching the boys purposely try to annoy each other to the point where one of them snapped. She had priorities. Like that antenatal appointment at 2pm.

Sure they could meet up later but she didn't want to. And nobody dare argue with the pregnant heiress of the Jiang company. Not even her best friends.
