Rain

  That's all she could see through the windshield.

   The last twenty minutes went through her head. The 'sincerity' in his eyes. The way he calmly let her down.

   The way he took her heart away from her...

   And crushed it before her eyes.

   Misook didn't recall a trace of sorrow on Jaehyun's face; only how he smiled and told her it wasn't the same. How he told her she was just a friend to him.

   "A friend," She muttered under her breath. "That's all I am to anyone."

   You were more than just a friend to me, Misook thought

   She should have known. She should have let go before she got too deep.

   The car swerved on the slick road.

  "Never again."

   Another swerve.

    "Never will I fall in love again."

   A skip in the tires sent the vehicle rolling off the road.

   And she was gone.
