I Can Protect You
I trudged along, carrying Kota on my shoulders. I was tired and needed rest, but first I needed to bring Kota to safety. Besides, we were almost to the ruins of that old guild base. I think...
I felt Kota's arms hugging my neck. It was tight, just a gentle grip to ensure he didn't fall off.
My legs ached from walking so much, but I didn't want to take off into flight. I was so tired, I feared that I would just crash if I tried to fly.
My eyes scanned the forest lazily, scanning for some sort of trail. There should be one somewhere, if I remember correctly.
Of course, I could easily be wrong, my memory is pretty foggy from before I was kidnnapped. But, I'm pretty sure I remember that the people from this guild had made a road to their base within the forest.
After awhile, I heard soft snoring from behind me. Kota fell asleep. Good. He hasn't slept much while we were in the villains' captivity.
I shuddered at the thought of it. It was so very painful there, and who knows how much longer Kota had been there! He's way too young to have suffered so much..
I'll make sure too take good care of him now that we're out of that horrible place. He deserves better than what the world threw at him.
Eventually, I stumbled into a jagged piece of rock. I looked at it, and not too far from it, I saw a path of cobblestone.
Huh... guess I remembered correctly...
I walked towards the path. The stones felt painful on my bare feet, but I didn't mind it all too much. It scraped against my skin as I walked, leaving small cuts on my feet.
Eventually, I found myself staring at a large circle of stones in large piles. It seemed as if they were once walls, but many of the bricks had colapsed. The roof wasn't evident anywhere, nor was the door.
I carefully manuvered through the wreckage, climbing inside of the ruins. The leftovers of the walls towered over me, bringing a sense of peace. It felt nice, rather than the unbridled rage that I had grown used to.
It was quiet, the only sounds being the chirpping of birds, my own footsteps, and Kota's soft snores.
A small, almost invisible smile graced my lips, as the cool breeze brushed against my skin.
"Welcome home, Kota..."

Kota grudgingly opened his eyes, not wanting to wake up. He looked around, only to realise that he was NOT in the villain's hideout. There were large, stone bricks surrounding the area, some of which were broken. He lay on something soft, although it felt different than Raitodaku's wings. He looked downwards slightly, finding that he was on some sort of pillow.
"Kota... You're awake... I got food..." Raitodaku's voice rang out, as the pure/evil spirit entered his vision. In his hands he held a basket full of some sort of cooked meat.
"Raitodaku...? Where are we?" Kota asked blerily. He sat up as Raitodaku spoke again, "we're in those ruins I told you about... You fell asleep on the way here..."
Raitodaku sat down in front of him, offering some of the meat to Kota. Raitodaku ate a piece of whatever it was, and Kota looked at it hesitantly. "What is it?"
The older male simply responded with "boar... You need to eat..."
Kota nodded, and took a piece of the meat. He ate some of it, and imedietly started eating more. He was starving, since the villains hadn't fed him very often. There was plenty of food for both of them, too.
When Kota had eaten enough, he looked up at Raitodaku, expectantly, "So... What do we do now?"
Raitodaku shook his head, "I don't know... For now, we'll survive.... I'm sorry..." He whispered the last part, although Kota still heard.
What does he have to be sorry for? He got both of us out of there!!

They had been living there for quite some time now, neither knew exactly how long. Raitodaku would go out to hunt for food for the both of them, while Kota stayed hidden in the ruins, playing. Unknown to him, he had been seen several times while hunting by outsiders.
Sometimes Raitodaku couldn't gather enough food, so he gave all of what he could gather to Kota. Kota would get worried when he did that, so Raitodaku would simply tell him that he wasn't hungry.
Kota didn't believe him when he said that, and would try to get him too eat something, but Raitodaku was just too selfless.
When they slept, Raitodaku would allow for Kota to snuggle up next to him. Kota liked it, especially the way he would wrap his soft, fluffy wings around Kota protectively. He was like that, trying to protect Kota no matter what.
Curently, they were eating some wild berries that Raitodaku had found. "Hey, Raitodaku..?" Kota asked, and the older boy turned his head to look at him. Kota fiddled with his fingers nervously, "uhm... can I call you Dad...?"
"Yeah, okay...." Raitodaku said, nodding slightly.
Kota would've sworn he saw Raitodaku's neutral seeming frown twitch into the tiniest smile.
A/N
:D
So I've realized that I still call Izuku by his real name in the ANs, instead of using his fake name. Oof.
