"Where the actual stars is it?" Flameheart muttered, tearing her room apart. She lifted up her bed, not even noticing how she was doing it, then dropped it again with a huff when the object she was searching for stayed hidden.

"Woah." Snowrush skidded to a stop beside her. "What happened in here?"
"I'm trying to find my dagger." Flameheart grumbled. "It was on my desk and now it's gone."
"How the stars did you manage to life your entire bed?" Snowrush raised and eyebrow.
"Huh? Oh, it seems I have something that Reddust calls the Strengh Talent." She replied absently. Snowrush looked at her astonished. "And that makes how many Talents you have now? Speed, Battle, Mind, Illusion and Strength? Flameheart that's practically unheard of, to have more than 3 Talents."

"Yeah yeah I know every single damn person has been telling me I get it. Now where is my fecking dagger??!!" Flameheart clenched her hands in frustration and a wave of heat rolled through the room. "Watch the Fire power would you." Snowrush muttered, and Flameheart finally looked over to him.

"What the hell are you doing here anyway? This is my room, and last time I checked, we weren't friends." She said snarkily.

"Rude much. All of the Guarder Apprentices are supposed to meet at the Commons. Some scouting mission or something. Hurry up, you have 10 minutes." And he was gone.

"Ugh." Flameheart zipped around her room, using her speed to pull on her battle clothes. "I guess I'll have to go without my dagger." She sighed, and grabbed a small dirk instead, sliding it into the top of her boot.

"The Night Riders are pressing our western border. I have decided that it would be a good experience for all of you to go as a scouting patrol, checking that nothing is astray. Yes, I understand that all of you together is rather large for a scouting patrol, but since you are not full Guarders it's safer for you all to stick together. Reddust will be heading this patrol, no one is to question his orders. Understood?" Lightningstar ran her eyes along the line of Apprentices, momentarily lingering on Flameheart, before flicking back to Reddust. He gave her a curt nod. "Then be off. Return at sundown."

Flameheart vaulted easily onto Fireflame's back, shifting uncomfortably in the armoured saddle. 

:|Do you think we'll actually come across some Riders?|: She asked him.

:|It's highly unlikely. But don't lose focus.|:

Reddust nudged his Companion, and led the charge out to the Western border.

Holy shit guys I am so so so so so sorry I haven't been on, ugh I feel so guilty. My life has been upside down right now, and I'm currently sailing in the Starling Nationals. I know this chapter is short, but as soon as I get back I am writing the next one, which has plenty of violence and drama , don't worry.
