After you finish voting, move to the other side of the white line and wait. Voting will be done in reverse order of the numbers on your chests. Player 456, please cast your vote." The masked guard said.

I couldn't help but notice that they kept looking in my direction i don't know if their looking at me or trying to look past me. Earlier when they said they were a women I and I'm betting a lot of other people were shocked.

I wonder how she looks under that mask

When 456 when up to vote I only hoped he pressed the O. I need to win the money to get my mother over here and get my brother from the orphanage. I cant and won't let him suffer anymore.

And he pressed the X.

Y/N POV

"Player 212" I called. The lady who was begging to be let go earlier pressed the O.

What the shit-

As she was walking back. The man from earlier called out "Have you all gone crazy? We have to leave. We can't keep putting up with this insanity." But before he could continue. The lady interrupted him.

"So what if we leave? Tell me, what changes? Just as bad out there as it is in here, goddamn it." She said with a scoff while walking to the crowd of people.

I was about to call the next player until another man interrupted me.

"She's right! If we stop right now that only helps the ones who are dead. They'll get a 100 million won and not us. We made it through! They're out! That money is ours." He finished. Once again I was about to talk until another man started talking.

"Please! Think about what just happens out there. Come on, lets go!" He finished probably about to cry. "Where am I supposed to go, huh? Out there, I don't stand a chance. I do here. No, I've got nothing out there. Come on, let's finish this thing! I'd rather stay and keep on trying in here than go back to the bullshit out there." The man said. At this point I would have shot him right here.

"You jerk! You got some kind of of death wish? Go die alone!" Player 119 said to him while clutching player 322 jacket.

"Give me your gun" I said to the guard next to me. He immediately handed me his gun while I went and put the gun on the back of the dudes head. Everyone gasped and the men who I had the gun to ducked.

"We will not condone any kind of act that impedes this democratic process. Now, let us resume and continue voting." I said as I walked back to the doors and gave the guard back his gun.

As the voting continued it was now the last player. Player 1 aka my boss.

As he went up. I honestly had no idea on what he would choose. Which is why I was so shocked when he pressed the X.

"The majority of the players have voted to terminate the game. Therefore, the game is now terminated." I said to the players still sorta shocked

"Hey! Okay, anybody who wants, they can go. But let the ones who want, stay till the end, though. Half of us has died already! We can't just stop here!." The same super annoying man from earlier said.

I knew the front man was watching so I just tried to contain my anger.

"He's right! Please let us stay! We'll keep playing the game!" Player 212 finished for the dude.

"It truly is a pity that we must say goodbye to you like this. However, we will not completely seal the door of opportunity for all of you. If the majority of you wish to participate again, then we will resume the game. So, goodbye for now." I finished saying while walking to the doors completely ignoring all of the complaining people.

But before I did I looked back one last time at 067.

Like before I will need to learn to move on and not catch feeling so easily.

Flashback

I followed the guard my heart still beating from the massive amount of blood I just witnessed getting spilled.

He led me back to the room from earlier and said "get some rest your gonna need it for tomorrow".

"Tomorrow? What's happening tomorrow!?" I yelled at him.

He simply just looked at me and opened the door. He gave me the key and waited for me to head inside once I did he closed the door.

I took off the pink jumpsuit and realized.

What am I gonna wear to bed?

I sighed and started looking around the room and thats when I noticed a camera in the corner of the room. I once again sighed even deeper this time. I looked under the bed and found a white shirt with white leggings.

Is this my pajamas?

I looked back at the camera and thought

Fuck it

I took off my shirt and put on the white shirt and white leggings.

The next day I woke up early and just stared at the ceiling. Thinking how the hell did I get here.

The same guard from earlier came to pick me up. He led me to this room with a bunch of beds and a bunch of people. He already explained to me the next game but I still felt really bad for these mostly innocent people.

As I was looking around at the people my eyes fell on a girl who had her knees pulled in and her head resting on them.

Poor girl

I rushed to the bathroom. The guard told me I could use just go to my room and use the bathroom there but i yelled at him saying it was to far so he let me go to the players bathroom.

As I opened the door i saw a girl crying over the sink. She quickly put her head up and wiped her tears. But the second she looked at me she started crying again.

"I'm sorry for just barging in" I told her. She looked up at me with a confused face.

"Your sorry?" She said slowly.

"Yes I'm sorry I just needed to use the bathroom but I can wait outside" I said to her.

"No, it's ok I can leave" she said standing up straight and cleaning her eyes one last time before exiting the bathroom.

That was weird

Over the next couple of days me and the girl kept meeting in the bathroom to just talk about random stuff. I also learned her name.

Seo-ah

She told me she was here because she needed the money to help pay for her grandmothers surgery. Her father died when she was young and her mother wasn't the best. So when her grandmother took her in she was over the moon but now her grandmother is on her death bed unless she can get money to pay for the surgery she needs.

I felt so bad for her and now I could only hope she wins

It was the last challenge. Seo-ah and another man were fighting it out.

The man was on the floor coughing up blood while she was on top of him trying to get the knife in his neck.

My heard was beating so fast.

And then it all happened so fast, he flipped her over grabbing her knife and stabbing her straight in the neck.

"No" I said quietly. Tears started leaving my eyes as she went completely limp and the man got up and started cheering.

As I got back to my room I ripped my mask off and just kept crying.

I looked at the camera on the corner of the room and yelled at it.

"Hey asshole let me talk to your boss or whatever you listen to!" I yelled at it as I kept crying.

Then the door opened revealing the same square mask guard.

"Follow me" he told me turning around. Then he turned back around and said "and put your mask on."

Flashback over

That was the first day I met ll-nam. I'm not gonna lie he kinda creeped me out.

I sighed and kept walking.
