Background: Fire and ice. An unlikely combination. One element melts while the other freezes. Some thought it was insane that the concept of the two elements would come together like that. But sometimes opposites are a good thing because they can learn to reach a compromise with each other. And this boy was a known example of that. His name was Oliver Ibuki.

He is the son of Dan Ibuki and Nikita Vaughn. After the city war, Dan, mainly the butt of all jokes and controlled the element of fire, has matured and gained a lot and I mean a lot of courage over the years and decided that he and Nikita, a rebellious woman from Moscow Russia who controlled the element of fire, should have a kid. And after 9 months, he was born.

He was originally born with brown hair but he died it red and white to honor both his mother and father genes. He was born with a scar on the left side of his face because of his fire powers, and was taught Russian by his mother.
He plays hockey and would often figure skate as a secret hobby. He is very nice and kind towards his fellow man. He is also best friends with Alexia Ryken. He is also very brave and had faith that everything will be alright no matter how bad it may seem.

He has been told about his parents' past life, mostly his father, and he wanted to see for himself. But unlike his father, he learned to think rationally about certain situations instead of charging head on without a plan. He even heard about the reckless mistakes Dan made in the past, how fearful he was, and how there were consequences to his actions. Same goes for his mother. She would tell him about the good aspects of her life and Dan's, but would inform Oliver of how to avoid the negative things about her and his life. But that was what made Oliver admire his parents. It was because of his faults and how he learned to make peace with it.

Oliver would often go to observe his parents past lives but would stay out of their problems no matter how badly he wanted to help.
