Background: The Sandman is Known as a mythical character in Western and Northern European folklore who puts people to sleep and brings good dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto their eyes. Well this one, he is part of the new generation of Sandman.

Somewhere in the realm of minds, an all out war has been placed between the Sandmen, those who wish to spread cheer and joy into one's dreams, against the dream demons only crave on fear and chaos. The Sandman have prevailed, yet they always have to remain diligent for whenever the dream demons try to invade again. That person was none other than Harry Leopold.

Though He has the appearance of a regular 14-year-old boy, he only exist in the realm of minds. But believe it or not he was human at one point. He was once a troubled kid who kept on getting nightmares because of dream demons. This caused him to flunk all his classes, develop insomnia, and eventually would go in to psychotherapy. But who could've blamed him when he had dream demons trying to cause him pain. He tried his best to fight sleep but it will all fail endlessly and he would always become a victim of the nightmares, until one night, a Sandman came to the rescue. He was so close to giving hairy the best dream he deserved, but was struck down by the dream demons... but he saw potential in Harry and passed on his last remaining send it onto him and slowly disappeared into Gold dust. When the sand was passed on to Harry, he felt a surge of golden energy pulse through him, and wiped out the demons that were causing him restless nights however when he did that, in the real world Harry was then put in an eternal rest. His real body became nothing but a husk... and his life energy went into the realm of the mind. He didn't notice... But he became the next Sandman. When he realize what he became, he now knew what his duty was, and he has been doing a pretty decent job.

He goes to the minds of those who are pure hearted, or the most miserable, or anyone in general and spread nothing but good fantasies and dreams for whenever they're getting a good nights rest. What are your having a stressful day from work, I'll give you an expense free vacation. When your girlfriend broke up with you, he can give you a dream girl. And whenever you just feel like everyone is against you and you have no one you can talk to, he'll be there to help bring you appositive night as his duty as the Sandman.

He also has a pet tiger that also exists in the realm of minds named Othello. He first created him when he Felt alone and scared, and when he need a partner to help combat against the dream demons , Othello was there in a heartbeat and helped get the job faster than one ever Harry was alone. He does have the ability to possess a vessel, so he can spread good dreams a lot quicker, but this also means he can go back to his original body whenever he wished. But even though his life energy went into the mind at night, whenever he wakes up, he's still his normal self, but does carry bags of sand around him and would often sprinkle it on those who are sleeping at night so that he can continue giving people good dreams. However if there are people having nightmares and dreams demons are around, he will not hesitate and wiping them off of the dreamers memory completely.
