Background: Sometimes it said The people who seem cruel and mean or actually the ones that suffer. This boy has been there a lot and he had a lot of bad luck. Dan Ibuki is the best friend of a young boy named Jamboree Ryken. For those who have read the book, you know that he is an arrogant douche bag but there was more to it. There was a reason why he felt the way he did.

His family were nothing but cruel to him. And believe it or not, they were Satanists Who worships the devil and it's beautiful flames, and that's how Dan got his powers. But they weren't really much of a blessing... They were more so of a curse. When his mother gave birth to him his father did something absolutely terrible. He and the rest of his family found a Satanic circle around the infant Dan and and the mother actually grabbed in ancient dagger from their drawer and stabbed him for the ritual and the blood got on the circle and began to glow, and a dark demon stood before the Ibuki Family and it burns the infant's scar until it hardened. And markings were all around the baby, and when the demon finished hey so when inside of the infant. That's when his life became hell.

Over the past few years, he has been abused countlessly by his mother and father, and the worst of them all with his sister who kept teasing him and hurting him in the worst possible way. The Ibuki Family had different forms of heat no other powers came from actual demons that they worshiped. His father controlled heat vapors, his mother controlled steam, his sister controlled magma, and they all use them to hurt him.

Some say it was a miracle that Dan was still alive after all they put him through, but he controlled the most powerful element in the family name... Fire. But he never used it because he didn't want to end up as dirty as his family... Until one day, the police came and arrested his parents for arson and it was just Dan and his sister.

She kept abusing him even worse because she blames him for having their parents arrested until one day Dan actually had enough and burned her mouth right off of her face. It was so bad that she had to wear a mask to cover up how disgusting she looked. But even though she was gravely injured, she still made it her duty to correct him every time he stepped out of line. And he actually learn how to fight back but it still wasn't enough to beat her and he wanted to prove that he wasn't as weak as he was worse and that's when he met... Jamboree.

Back in Jamboree's younger years, he was learning how to stand up to his attackers and when he met Dan, he challenged him to a fight. Jamboree gladly except and even though they were street fighting like normal people, Dan still lost against him, but even though he lost... He saw something in jamboree, he saw someone who he could consider his friend. So ever since that day they started becoming best friends until more of his friends showed up and was forced to work with him. He would often be a dick towards them, making fun of them, acting cocky, just like his other family members dead.

I think this is a sign of karma, do you want to others as they would you want to you. And he got hurt real bad for it and ended up becoming the weakest member of jamboree's friends, but yet despite all that he still had the energy to keep going and be there by his side.. but what they don't know is that, the fire demon was still inside of Dan since birth and when his 16th birthday comes... let's just say, you might wanna turn up your AC all the way, because that demons will cause the entire world to burn up in a blaze of glory, so reality... Dan is actually a bomb set for the end of the world. So whenever he starts acting like a big shot, or being a dick, just know that he's hiding all of the pain he has endured from the past and that he just wants to protect others from him...
