"I wonder what we're learning for Herbology today," my best friend, (b/f/n) said, as we walked towards the Herbology room together.

"Well, I don't know," I said, thinking about it. To be honest, even though most Hufflepuffs were best at Herbology and was best at it, I liked Potions more, and was better at it too. The only problem with Potions was that Professor Snape taught it, and let's say, he absolutely despised Hufflepuffs.

I don't know what Hufflepuff did for him to hate us this much, but that's not important for now. (Even though, I may be tempted a bit to find out) I entered the classroom, with my best friend and we stood next to some slytherins.

Herbology was fun, yes, but having it with the slytherins would just ruin the fun... a bit. Not all Hufflepuffs had Slytherin friends, but I happened to have one.

"Hey Terrence," I greeted him, waiting patiently for the class to start.

"Hey, (y/n/n)," Terrence replied back, when Professor Sprout entered the class.

"Good afternoon class, today we are going to learn about Puffapods." She said, and I paid attention clearly.

"Will you go to Hogsmeade with me?" Terrence asked suddenly, shutting me down in the middle of what I was saying.

Yes, I did have a teeny weeny crush on Terrence, and everyone knew I was gay but I didn't expect Terrence to be gay too.

He misunderstood the silence and then said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-."

I cut him off by saying, "Yes."

"What?" He asked, not understanding what I just said.

"Yes, I'll go to Hogsmeade with you," I repeated, laughing.

Terrence took a few seconds to understand and then gave me a big sheepish grin.

"(Y/n)!" Someone shouted and I turned around to see my best friend. I waved at her and then turned back to Terrence when I noticed him fist bumping the air.

I raised my eyebrow at him and then chuckled.

"Well, we better get going to Transfiguration. Don't want to be late now, do we?" I said, and we walked to Transfiguration together.

Terrence's P.O.V

Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, you must be wondering what I'm doing write now. Well, (y/n) accepted to go on a date with me, so... here we are! In the Three Broomsticks!

We sat on one of the booths and I asked for what he wanted. "A Butter beer, please," (y/n) responded and I nodded.

I went to Madam Rosmerta and ordered two butter beers and bought it back to our booth when I saw my sister, with Adrian. 'What were they doing here?' I thought.

'Oh wait, this is a public place,' I thought and started thinking, 'stupid! Stupid! Stupid'

That's when I saw them kiss. Ewe, they're dating!? How come sis didn't tell me? I'm going to have to ask her later.

I turned back to (y/n), remembering I had come on a date with him.

"So..." I said, trying to start a conversation. God, I sucked at starting conversations.

"I was thinking we could go to Honeydukes after this...?" He said slowly, and I nodded. I wanted to buy some chocolate frogs anyway.

After we drank our butter beers, we went to Honeydukes and (y/n)'s eyes shimmered with the sight.

"I'm guessing you're a chocolate lover," I said, looking up to him.

"Yeah," he said, nodding. "I've always had a sweet tooth."

We wandered around the whole shop, and my eyes widened when I saw one of the kids in the store buying like, HALF THE SHOP! Oh well, I guess that kid really loves candy.

We reached the cashier and (y/n) was going to pay when I took some money from my pocket and gave it to the cashier.

"Hey! I can pay too, you know." He said, fumbling.

"Just let the man pay, (y/n)," I said, shaking my head at him.

"Hey! I'm a man too!" He said, and I shrugged, knowing he had a point.

"Well, I am the Big man here," I said, in a boasting way.

"Whatever," he said, rolling his eyes.

 We reached the Hufflepuff common room, and I stopped, knowing I wasn't allowed in it. "Well, I guess this is my cue to leave." (y/n) said.

He started walking towards his common room when I grabbed his hand and said, "Wait!" I pulled him to me, causing him to bump into my chest.

"What is it?" he asked me, slightly confused.

"I really like you," I blurted out which caused his eyes to widen for a split second and then turn back to normal.

I waited for his respond for a few seconds when he finally said, "I like you too."

I grinned and fist bumped the air. "Well, it's getting late. I have to go now," he said, kissing me on the cheek before leaving.

I sighed and returned to the Slytherin common room, looking like a love sick puppy.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I was in the Great Hall, talking with my friends in the Hufflepuff table when I heard a huge commotion. My friends and I turned to look at the Slytherin table when I saw Terrence's red angry face.

He suddenly stood up, looking as mad as ever and then left the Great Hall. I heard Terrence's sister standing up and shouting at Malfoy.

"Hey Blondie! Don't poke your nose in other people's personal life! At least, he can find himself a guy to love! What can you get? A dog?" She shouted angrily, and I could see him gulp.

I laughed a little and then remembered Terrence, so, I stood up and went after him.

It didn't take me too long to find him, on the Astronomy tower and said, "Hey Terrence."

"Hey," he replied back, calming down a bit when he saw me.

"Don't listen to anything that bastard says, ok?" I said, and he nodded.

Suddenly, I was pulled into a hug. "It's okay, Terrence." I said comforting him.

"What if our parents don't approve of being gay?" he asked, realization knocking into him.

"Whatever happens, we'll be in this together." I said, and he smiled, placing a kiss onto my forehead.

Oh, I wished this night didn't end.
