It had been a week since Juvia has talked to any of her friends, brother and also to her beloved boyfriend Gray Fullbuster.

It's not that she didn't want to talk but she was ignore by them.

The reason was that both Juvia and Gray had a small misunderstanding which was partly Juvia's mistake.

But both of them didn't want to let go of their pride and decided not to talk until their anger subsided.

But what she didn't understand was why were her friends ignoring and avoiding her?

Juvia thought over and over again if she had mistakenly hurt them in any way but none showed up.

Even her boy bestie Gajeel Redfox who doesn't gets offended by her insults and tolerated her crazy personality was also not talking to her.

As she sat in the class to attend the last lecture for the day, she kept on thinking why everyone were behaving differently towards her.

Just few days back realized her mistake and felt guilty for misunderstanding her beloved. She approached him but he just walked away.

Even though they were in same class, he just didn't bother to see or talk to her.

He had even shifted his seat away from hers to avoid the heavy looming atmosphere.

That time her heart shattered into millions pieces and none of her friends didn't bother to console her.

Juvia remained hopeful that today she will confront everyone and clear all the misunderstanding between them.

But her expectations went down the drain as none of them came to college which she found odd.

As the college ended correctly at 4pm, Juvia soon stormed out of the classroom.

She decided to pay a visit to her boyfriend secretly not that she wanted to spy on him.

Gray didn't respond back to any of her texts and she couldn't let him know about this if he didn't pick up his call or see her texts.

Just then her mobile rings and she was surprised to see the caller, it was Gajeel. She felt a sigh of relief seeing his display picture.

"If he is calling Juvia, then he must have forgiven her. Juvia's feels happy."

Juvia thought to herself and happily attended the call.

"Hi Gajeel-kun, how are you doing? Juvia is sorry. Please forgive her. Please just don't ignore her like this."

Juvia began to cry as she apologised for her unknown mistake.

"Juvia just come to Riverine Resort."

Gajeel said seriously and cut the call before she could ask him the reason and nor he acknowledged her apology.

But nevertheless, Juvia went to the said resort which took her an hour to reach by taxi.

When she was about to enter the resort, her mobile rang again.

This time it was a call from Lucy Heartfilia who Juvia used to think as her love-rival due to the closeness she shared with Gray.

But Gray on many occasions cleared this suspicion of Juvia and outwardly stated he and Lucy shared a sibling bond not any romantic bond as he wants to experience the later only with his blunette.

"Hi Lucy-San, what a surprise?"

Juvia giggled as she felt kinda awkward to talk to her again after been ignored for a week.

"Hey Juvia, I guess Gajeel must have told you to come to the resort." Lucy stated.

"Yeah, Juvia reached just now. She will come in now. Where are you guys?"

"Well Juvia, he played a prank on you. It was his dare to fool someone. You can go back to your dorm now. Bye." Lucy cut the call.

Juvia literally froze after hearing Lucy's words. Her bestie literally made her look like a fool or apparently he did make her one.

She wondered what is happening around and why they were despising her like this?

Juvia couldn't control her tears which flowed down her eyes. Her heart felt heavy in her chest.

As she took the cab back to the college dorm. On the way, she received another call and it was from her Gray.

Seeing his number and display photo, Juvia became joyous and wiped the tears so that she could talk to him freely. But somewhere in her heart, she felt odd.

"Hello Gray-sama, Juvia is really sorry for that silly misunderstanding. Please forgive her for hurting your feelings. Please don't ignore her anymore. Juvia really loves you. Please forgive her."

She apologised to him as she was sobbing hardly.

When she was waiting to hear his soft voice which he used to console her whenever she felt low.

Juvia heard a harsh tone of his voice from which she could make out something was really wrong.

"Juvia, just come to my place now. I need to share few things which will change our life forever. Just come soon."

"But Gray-sama….." Gray abruptly cut the call without waiting to hear her response.

That's it Juvia knew Gray had planned something very serious and her long time fear was so going to become reality.

Juvia really regretted her silly action which costed ruining her relationship once and for all.

"Hey Luce, are you sure? Juvia will be okay after hearing what Gray said to her. That poor girl will be by now crying and letting out waterfall."

Natsu Dragneel, her boyfriend since high school days asked out of concern knowing the bubbly blunette's personality.

"Yeah even I have a bad feelings about this. My Juvia would have by now broken down. I think we took this plan a bit to further."

Gray sighed as he felt really guilty for making his girlfriend sad.

"Relax even we are part of this plan so anything bad happens we will make sure to set things in a right track. Now be happy, she will come here anytime soon." Erza patted her friend's shoulder.

"Natsu, be careful don't burst those balloons. And Gajeel just sit down and blew those extra balloons so that Lucy and Natsu could fix it up the ceiling." Levy instructed them.

Just then, the door bell rang. Everyone looked shocked as they didn't expect Juvia to be her so soon.

"Hey it's me Jellal. Open the door." Natsu opened the door to let him enter in.

"Hey I bought the cake. Where's my sister? Why didn't she come still?" Jellal asked them.

Then Erza explained her boyfriend what happened during his absence.

"Hey she must be crying now. Why did you guys make her cry on her birthday?
   Gray, didn't you promise me that you will never make her cry. Now you have already broken that promise." Jellal glared at him.

"Hey Jellal, just calm down. It was a part of the plan or else our one week hardwork would have gone down the drain.
    Even we feel guilty for making her cry on her special day but our man over here will make up for all those sorrows of his girl." Lucy convinced Jellal.

Gray blushed after hearing Lucy's last sentence. He along with his friends were planning for a month to make Juvia's 21st birthday special by throwing her a surprise party.

It was Lucy's idea to ignore Juvia for few days before her birthday so that she could feel the immense happiness on that day.

Gray and Juvia have known each other since middle school. He knew she loved him very much but he kept on ignoring her advances and rejecting her harshly.

But still Juvia didn't give up on him. This never to give up attitude and her bubbly and her beauty, of course, she is one of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.

All the different situations which they underwent together caused him to slowly open up his feelings towards her.

She was with him during his downfalls and helped him get over his dreadful past.

It was just a year back he confessed his love to her.

This one year of their love life was filled with all unexpected moments which Gray really loved and wanted to cherish those special moments for the rest of his life.

And this one year was really enough for him to know Juvia was the one with whom he wants to spend rest of his life by creating new and happy memories.

"Ice-princess…..Ice-princess….Man, he has frozen. GRAY…" Natsu yelled in his ears to break his stupor.

Gray literally jerked back due to surprise and looked puzzled.

"What do you want, Flame-breath?" Gray hissed back.

"Idiot stop dreaming. Go and take a look at that poor thing and keep the ring ready." Natsu added.

Gray complied to his suggestion and went inside his room to take a look at the small labrador puppy which he had got from his friend Loke's pet shop just few hours back.

This puppy is the one of the gift he was going to give her tonight. The puppy was just a day old and still didn't open its eyes.

It was sleeping peacefully in the basket as the blanket was roped around its tiny body.

Then Gray took the red small velvet box from the drawer which contained a gold ring. He put the small box into his coat pocket.

Gray was slowly beginning to feel nervous as just in few hours, his and Juvia's relationship status is going to change into something intimate and meaningful.

As he heard the door bell, he knew his girlfriend was the one outside.

"That's it buddy do your best to make your girl happy." Gray encouraged himself.

He went inside the living room and hid behind the door and gestured everyone else to hide in their assigned places with the props getting ready to surprise her.

Lights were turned off by Erza while Lucy and Levy had the music system ready to start the background music as soon as Natsu and Gajeel popped the party poppers.

As Gray opened the door, Juvia entered but was met with darkness. She made inside the door closed.

"Gray-sama, where are you? Ahh!!" She shrieked as suddenly the door closed behind her.

Erza turned the lights on and simultaneously the party poppers were popped making Juvia to startled. Then 'happy birthday song' was played.

Juvia looked surprised by the decorations in the living room and to see her friends and brother standing with a big, bright smile plastered on their face.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUVIA"

Everyone wished her happily. That's when she realized today was her birthday which she had forgot due to the fuss her friends created. Now she understood the reason behind their ignorance.

Juvia's began to tear up and searched for the important person of her life.

Just then, Juvia felt a pair of strong arms snaked around her waist and pulling her closer towards his hard and toned chest.

"Happy Birthday, Juvia."

Gray said in a husky voice making her blush. She turned around to face his handsome visage without breaking the embrace.

She smiled brightly, "You made Juvia cry. But even though, she's really happy right now. Thank you Gray-sama. It's a wonderful birthday present Juvia has ever received in her life."

She tip-toed and kissed his lips which he responded back by pulling her even closer.

Their friends cooed at their action. Once they broke their kiss, "Juvia, I'm really sorry for making you sad and paranoid for this past one week. It was just a plan to surprise you for your birthday.
     And moreover, it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for their help. Thank you guys. Please forgive me for not talking to you. " Gray sincerely apologised.

"Juvia, even we are sorry. Moreover, the plan wouldn't have went to its full fledged mode if we had talked with you.
    That's why we also decided to take part in it. But all these decorations which you see on the table is Gray's idea, we just helped him a bit." Levy added.

"Thank you everyone for this wonderful moment. Thank you, Juvia is really happy." She whole heartedly thanked them.

"Hey waterdrop, now no more crying. Come let's cut the cake. I'm sorry for playing the prank." Gajeel apologised.

"Juvia forgives you, Gajeel-kun. Thank you." She smiled and made way towards the table as Gray gently pushed her shoulders.

Juvia could see a large 21 shaped balloon, a photo album, a photo frame which had the picture of their most memorable day where they kissed for the first time.

Then a big red velvet cake and a small show piece of a boy proposing a girl.

Juvia found the over all setup adorable and again kissed his cheeks,

"I love you, Gray-sama. Thank you for everything. It looks so adorable."

"Juvia, there is even more surprise waiting for you. Now cut the cake, birthday girl."

Jellal told which made Juvia wonder what more she is going to receive.

After cutting the cake and enjoying the small dinner party and happily chatting with her friends again after a week made her thrilled.

That's when Juvia realized her Gray-sama was wearing a formal coat and navy blue shirt but put that thought away as she admired how her Gray-sama looked so handsome in any attire.

"Okay Gray, we gave her our gifts. Why don't you give her yours?" Lucy and Erza smirked.

"Yeah Ice-princess, go get that. We want to see that gift again." Natsu grinned.

"What gift Gray-sama? Even Juvia is curious." Juvia slanted her head in sideways.

Gray got up and made way to his room. When he came back with a basket in his hands, Juvia's curiosity hyped up.

When Gray presented her the basket which had the small puppy in it, her widened due to excitement.

Juvia really loved dogs and she never got any chance to rise one on her own.

So seeing her beloved present her favourite animal, she couldn't control the smile which was spreading through her cute face.

"Aw Gray-sama, it's so cute. It's so tiny and fragile. Aw, look it's yawning. But why isn't it opening its eyes?"

Juvia gently took the puppy in her hands and caressed it.

Jellal and Gray were smiling seeing her excited reaction.
"Juvia, it's just a day old puppy. It will take a week or so to open its eyes. Don't worry, take good care of it."

Levy smiled and girls grouped up to touch that little creature once again.

While boys whispered in Gray's ears to proceed with the next part. He blushed and began to sweat.

Just then, Juvia called him, "Gray-sama, where will he stay then? You know Juvia can't take him to the dorm. What should we do now? Juvia wants to be with him." She hugged the puppy by bringing it upto her chest.

Natsu nudged his chest and whispered, "Idiot, do it now. It's the perfect opportunity."

"Don't worry Juvia. He can stay with me in this apartment. We both can take care of them together in here." Gray blushed hoping Juvia to grasp the hidden meaning.

But she remained unmoved by it, "Yeah, Juvia can come here after the college hours and look after him for sometime." Juvia smiled while others looked blanked.

"Juv...Juvia...I mean, we can take care of him together from morning to night. Well, it's an important commitment which can't be neglected or thrust upon a single person. That puppy is our responsibility and we will do it together. So why don't you move in with me?" Gray finally told her his wish.

It took few minutes for Juvia to really understand what her Gray-sama told. She blushed and grew red due to shyness.

"Juvia would really love to Gray-sama. Thank you and I love you."

Juvia got up and gave him a single handed hug after few minutes they broke the embrace.

"Wait, you will be moving in here not as my girlfriend but as my fiancee. So Juvia, will you marry me?"

Gray got down on his knees and opend the box to display the ring.

Juvia couldn't believe the sight before her eyes. She never expected her beloved to propose this soon just after a year of dating.

She looked towards Jellal who smiled and nodded his head in agreement.

Happy tears flowed down her eyes and her mouth quivered to form a correct words.

"Yes...yes….Juvia will marry her Gray Fullbuster."

She hugged him after giving the puppy to Lucy so that she could hug him wholly.

Gray patted her back to calm down her. Even though, these were happy tears then too, he didn't like seeing her cry.

"Hey Juvia, now stop crying. It's a happy moment so you should smile and cherish it. Now stand up so that we could get engaged." Gray spoke softly.

"Yeah Juvia, now get up." Evryine said in unison.

She wiped her tears and got up and showed her left hand which Gray took in his hand and wore the ring in her ring finger and kissed her hand.

"Juvia, I love you. Hope from now on, we can create even more happy and wonderful memories with this little one and also along with our little ones in future." Gray got up and hugged her tightly.

"Congratulations to the engaged couple. Enjoy." Everyone wished them in unison.

"Hey for now create memories with this little one. Okay!! Keep the plans for your little ones away for few more years." Girls teased them.

Both of them grew red due to embarrassment but soon got back to their usual self.

Later at night, both of them privately enjoyed their happy moments embracing each other in their arms and getting ready for their passionate nights together from now on.
