Gray's friends try to set him on a date with Juvia as they think she will be suitable for his personality.
  
But little did they know both of them are secretly maintaining their relationship until they find out in an embarrassing manner.

As Gray tried to sleep in his room without caring about the disturbance caused by his friends from the living room.

Currently his friends who also happens to be his roommates were enjoying the evening with their respective love interests.

Gray felt odd to be third wheeling in between the couples so he excused himself from the group and went to grab some sleep.

But that was partially true, as usually at this time, he would receive calls from his secret girlfriend, Juvia Locksar who studied in the same college.

But had major from marine biology while his was from business studies.

It had been a year since he has being in relationship with Juvia.

Since Gray was an ace member of the college's basket ball team along with his friend Natsu Dragneel while Juvia was in the cheer leader club.

It was love at first sight for both of them as they both correctly fitted into the dream qualities of their future love interest respectively. 

Slowly Gray became bold enough to talk and get to know each other personally much to Juvia's delight. 

Gray confessed his love and asked her out officially after playing an important home match against Lamia Scale which was a year back.

Juvia accepted him and happily began to date her prince. All Gray asked from her was to maintain their dating as a secret until he gets comfortable which was still not the case.

Even Natsu was so oblivious to their relationship as being in the same club together with Gray, he had no what was going on with his friend.

This showed how successfully the couple did the job of hiding their relationship status.

Suddenly the door of his room banged open with a loud thud sound which startled him. He nearly jumped out of his bed.

"Idiot, can't you open the door properly?"

Gray hissed at the person thinking him to be his hyperactive friend, Natsu but it was a lady with her scarlet hair, Erza, his girl bestie whom he feared extensively.

"What did you say?" Erza glared at him.

Gray began to sweat profusely as he didn't want to stay at the receiving end of her wrath.

"A..a..a nothing… so what do you want Erza?" He smiled sheepishly.

"Why are you staying in the bed? Come join us so that we could spend the evening in delight." Erza genuinely called her friend.

Gray smiled and softly tried to decline the offer but Erza forced him to join them.

So he gave way to her choice and decided to spend the evening with his friends.

Soon Gray and Erza joined others in the living room where he saw Natsu and Lucy practically stuck together which goes same for Gajeel and Levy who sat on her boyfriend's lap while Jellal sat on the floor and Erza soon occupied the space next to him.

"Hi Gray, why did you go? We could all chat and play something. Don't go isolating yourself." Lucy said.

"I just don't want to be a third wheeling in here. That's why thought of giving you guys some space." He said and took the empty space on the floor.

"Don't worry from tonight you won't be a third wheel anymore. We are having a guest in few minutes." Lucy and Erza smirked.

Gray rolled his eyes as he knew these girls desperately tried to hitch him with a girl of their choice.

Just then, the door bell rang and Levy instantly got up to attend the door with a wide smile.

Once the door opened to reveal the guest, Gray's eyes widened due to surprise as he never expected his friends to know Juvia Locksar, his secret girlfriend.

"Juvia, welcome to our friends apartment." Levy warmly welcomed her.

Juvia fidgeted a bit and when she raised her head above to meet the people in front of her and more importantly, to meet her love interest, she instantly blushed.

Gray just wished Natsu's big mouth doesn't blurt the information of knowing her before hand.

"Hi Juvia, you came on a perfect time. Come in." Lucy got up to get the fidgeting girl inside by pulling her wrist.

Gray blushed and tried to remain stoic while the other guys greeted her casually.

"Guys, this is Juvia. Our new roommate. Just a month back, she got in with us." Erza introduced her.

"Hello everyone nice meeting you all" Juvia greeted them with a smile but her eyes widened when her eyes meet the scarlet orbs of the black haired,large man.

"Gajeel-kun, is that you?"

"So they are your new roommates, huh Sprinkler" Gajeel grinned.

"Oh this means they are your new friends group which you constantly talk about.
   I didn't expect them to your friends. So Levy-San is that Shrimp."

Juvia gave a cheeky grin to Levy and Gajeel who blushed at her statement.

"Yeah, even I didn't expect that you moved in with these girls. It's good you found a safe place now." Gajeel smiled.

Others were left awestruck to see the mighty Gajeel actually talking like a nice person to someone who doesn't happen to be Levy.

Gray fake coughed, "Well care to explain how do you guys know each other? Not that it concerns me."

The friendly duo turned towards the annoying noise and Gajeel groaned, "She's my childhood friend who is also like a sister to me. So now your doubts got cleared."

Others turned towards Juvia for confirmation which made Gajeel irritated, "Yeah, Gajeel-kun is my best friend who is closest thing to a family for me."

"Then how come you never told anything about her till date?" Levy asked her boyfriend with a bit of jealousy.

"Because none of you asked anything about my other friends. That's why, I didn't get a chance to tell about her and let alone introduce her to you guys. Now you all know the truth be happy."

Gajeel softly replied to his Shrimp.

Juvia who till now was stealing glances of her boyfriend was removed out of her trance by Lucy, "Hey Juvia, come sit down here."

For once Gray, thanked Lucy silently for making Juvia sit next to him much to their delight.

"So Juvia, what's your major?" Natsu asked the blunette while munching on the nachos till being oblivious to her presence.

Lucy smacked him for his bad table manners. Juvia giggled,

"Marine Biology. I want to be a oceanologist. And my dream is to open a large aquarium park in Magnolia."

Juvia passionately told them about her dream which made Gajeel and  Gray wore a soft smile as he knew how much that girl loves ocean and aquatic life forms.

"Wow that's so cool. We all would love to visit your aquarium, Juvia" Both Jellal and Lucy said in unison.

As the time passed by, they got acquainted with the guest and began to see her one of their friends as she perfectly fitted into the group like a missing puzzle piece which Gray was really happy about. 

Jellal and Erza excused themselves to make dinner for everyone and to enjoy some alone time for themselves.

"Juvia, are you in cheer leader club? I find you so familiar. " Natsu asked her which made both Gray and Juvia to grew anxious, finally realizing who is she.

"Ye..yes Natsu-San. Why do you ask?" She smiled sheepishly.

Her awkward smile was enough to fuel the growing smirk on his face and turned around to cast the look towards his frenemy, Gray Fullbuster.

"Really Juvia, I didn't get to see you even once after the practice. Seriously Natsu, it's been two hours since she came here and now only you recognize her? Huh!!" Lucy asked her and pinched his ears.

Big drops of sweat began to form on her forehead which continued to grow seeing the devilish smirk on Natsu's face as he rubbed the reddened area.

"Well I usually leave soon after the practice session to catch up with my part time job." Juvia faked out her reason which was partially true.

"Oh I see you are just like that Gray. Even he rushes out soon after the practice session. He doesn't like to wait for me."

Natsu tried to control his laugh while letting out the news.

"That's because you and your girlfriend get very much mushy after seeing you play. So I give you both some privacy. Now, shut will you?" 

Gray hissed and without getting noticed by others grabbed Juvia's palms to assure everything was okay for now for which she nodded in agreement.

"Gray, we don't get mushy." Lucy yelled at him with a huge blush on her face which made everyone laugh at her expression.

Just when they thought, everything was under the control,

"But Sprinkler, if you left right after your practice session, why did you reschedule your work time? Why are you lying?"

"This metal head" Both Gray and Juvia thought in unison.

"Gajeel, stop it. She might have other needs to be handled. And now her house is being shifted it will be easy to reach the shop sooner." Levy tried to convince her boyfriend.

"No Shrimp, she has been like this since last year till now. I don't know why she rescheduled her work time by decreasing one hour which made her lose 500J per week.
   Tell me Sprinkler, why are you lying? What are you hiding from me?" Gajeel got up from his position.

"What she never told me about his? She sacrificed her pay just to be with me. Oh Juvs, I'm sorry for being selfish." Gray thought it himself which made him fell guilty.

"Nothing Gajeel-kun, I will tell you privately not now." Juvia said softly and looked towards Gray which didn't go unnoticed by Natsu.

"Well enough of chitchat, dinner is ready. Come wash your hands, children." Jellal happily called out his friends from the kitchen along with Erza.

"What are you our mother, Jelly Bean?" Natsu and Gajeel groaned and went towards the bathroom followed by their girl friends.

Now only Gray and Juvia were left in the living room. When he made sure that, everyone were in dinning room, he asked in whispered tone, "Why did you do something like this?"

Juvia smiled and caressed his cheeks, "Because I wanted to spend sometime with you, that's all. 
   If it means to spend even few minutes by your side, I will gladly sacrifice my other needs because you are way more important to me, my love.
   Now come, before your friends get suspicious. I need to think of ways to handle Gajeel-kun."

Juvia got up and extended her hand to help Gray stand on his own. He smiled and used her help.

As he stood up being couple of inches taller than her, he bent down to capture her lips into a quick chaste kiss.

"Thank you and it means a lot." He earnestly told her and decided to reveal his friends about her real soon.
