One fine afternoon, both mother and daughter duo were taking a peaceful nap while their most important person was on an important mission with his team after a long time.

The little girl, Mika Fullbuster, named after Gray's mother, is the apple of her parent's eyes who is just 3 years old.

Mika is a perfect mixture of her parent's good looks and personality.

She shares a striking resemblance with her water mage mother, except for that raven hairs, eye colour and pointed nose which she inherited from her devil-slayer father.

Personality wise as bubbly, cheerful and optimistic as her mother and determined, stubborn, never give up attitude just like her father.

Just few months back, Gray and Juvia found out their little princess was able to use magic at this tender age.

Gray swelled up in pride as his daughter was the first one to learn magic amongst other kids, especially before the Dragneel and Redfox kids.

He didn't spare anyone including his wife as he often barged about this fact to his friends proudly and teased his wife that their bundle of joy inherited his magic style not hers.

So back to the present, Mika woke up from her nap and saw her mommy sleeping tightly. She tried to wake her up but couldn't succeed in her feat.

"Mommy, get up. I'm hungry."

Mika gently shook her mommy's shoulder but Juvia didn't even flinch a little.

The little girl felt defeated and got down the bed slowly and carefully to avoid falling and waking her mother.

As she made way to the kitchen to grab some snacks from the counter, but she couldn't reach because of her tiny height.

An idea striked her smart mind, she ran to the living room to bring her chair which she can climb on it and get the snack from the counter.

But some strange noise grabbed her attention, "What's that sound?"

She pushed the chair to the window frame and opened the window which gave her the view of their lawn.

Mika's big black eyes sparkled, when she saw few tiny kittens playing amongst themselves.

As the window didn't have any grills in it, she jumped out her face falling first.

Mika rubbed her face to ease the pain, luckily the window was at few meters above the ground.

Soon she forgot about her hunger and pain from falling and went to catch the kittens.

"Kittys, please wait. I wanna play with you."

The kittens ran away as soon as they saw the little girl chasing them.

But Mika was determined to catch them so she followed them until she lost sight of the kittens.

That's when Mika realized she was away from her house, she looked around the surrounding area only to find herself in a busy market place.

"Where am I? Mommy, daddy, where are you?"

Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes but the girl hated to express her weakness in front of others which she inherited from her father.

She began to walk following a random person who looked like her dad. Just then she bumped someone who was of her height.

Mika looked down that the bumped person and wondered out loud,

"Hey Froggy, what are you doing here? Wow, you also have a tail. I want one."

She bent down to catch hold of its shoulder helping it stand on it's own.
"Thank you for helping Fro."

It was the cute exceed of Sabertooth guild who Mika bumped.

"It's okay, froggy" Mika grinned.

"Fro is an exceed not froggy."

Fro smiled at her.

"Ex-c-ee-d???? What's that?"

The little girl wondered. Frosch was not able to explain that to her.

Soon both of their attention was distracted by a butterfly,

"Hey froggy, look it's butterfly. Come let's go catch it."

"Fro thinks so too."

Both ran in the direction of butterfly holding each other's hands.

Once they lost sight of the butterfly, they stopped at a nearby cotton candy shop.

"I'm hungry."

Mika rubbed her belly so did the cute exceed.

"Fro thinks so too."

Both of them laughed at each other when their stomach grumbled at the same time.

"What's your name?"

Frosch asked her after finding themselves a place to sit down.

"Mika.. Your name,froggy?"

She asked as she pulled the exceed much closer towards her.

"Frosch from Sabertooth. I came with my friends and Rogue but got lost. I'm trying to find them but I couldn't find till now." Frosch began to tears up.

Mika felt bad as she was also in the same situation. She wiped the exceed's tears and smiled,

"Don't worry, I will help you find your friends. Come let's go and ask people for directions."

They got down and went to ask the nearby shopkeeper for the direction towards the Sabertooth guild.

Both of them were holding hands together so that they don't get separated from one another.

Meanwhile, Rogue, Sting, Yukino and Lector were searching for Frosch as usual when they loss sight of him in the busy place.

"Oh Frosch, where did you go?"

Rogue was comically letting out tears.

"Will you shut up? And stop crying like a baby. Don't forget you are dating our m'lady so stop being a baby." Sting growled at him.

"Frosch-sama" Yukino called out.

"Frosch" Lector also called out in the hope of finding his fellow exceed. But no luck.

Sting inquired in the cotton candy shopkeeper, "Oh that little frog, you mean?"

"He is an exceed not a frog."

Rogue hissed while Yukino patted his shoulder to calm him down.

"Yeah, yeah whatever… I saw him and a little girl going towards this direction. Just go straight."

The shopkeeper pointed out towards the direction where the little fellows went.

"Thank you sir. Come let's go."

Sting and co ran towards the said direction.

At the Fullbuster household, Juvia woke up from her sleep to find an empty bed.

She got up and looked in bathroom, living room, kitchen, upstairs and even in terrace to find her daughter but she couldn't find her.

"Mika dear, where are you? Come out, don't play hide and seek with your mommy. Come out.."

Juvia hoped that girl must be playing a prank but she was wrong.

Juvia began to fidget and got out from her house to look in the lawn but she couldn't find her even over there.

Juvia began to cry and looked around in the lane and asked the neighbors if they saw her daughter but even that was in vain.

"Mika, where did you go?"

She ran crying towards the guild to ask help to from her guild members before her husband comes back from the mission later in the afternoon.

"Juvia, what happened? Why are you crying?"

Mira asked in concern as soon as the guild door opened to reveal a crying Juvia in the front.

Gajeel who saw his friend in whimpering state went near her to console and know the exact reason for her condition.

"Hey Juvia, stop crying. What happened? Where is Mika?"

Gajeel asked as he didn't the little girl latched around Juvia's waist which made him feel odd.

The little girl was always around her parents whenever they came to stop by at the guild.

"I don't know where she went. When I got up from the sleep, I couldn't find her anywhere in the house and outside.
  What am I going to say to Gray-sama when he comes back? I'm such a bad mother. I lost her…"

Juvia broke down as she fell on her knees covering her crying face in her palms.

Levy who sat on their usual table along with her kid Emma and Dragneel twins, Igneel and Luna were around 4 years old, looked worried at her friend and went to console her leaving the kids to play on their own.

"Don't worry Juvia. We will find Mika before Gray comes back. Don't worry, nothing will happen to her. Gajee do something." Levy turned towards her husband.

"Juvia, stay calm. I and Lily will go find Mika. Don't cry. Levy and Mira take care of her. I assure you, we will come back with your daughter."

Gajeel consoled his bestfriend and went in search of his niece along with his partner.

"Juvia, relax dear. Here drink this water. Gajeel will find her in no time. Calm down. You are not a bad mother. Don't lose hope."

Mira hugged her and made her sit on the bench while Levy gave her company.

Meanwhile, the members of team Natsu arrived after finishing their mission a bit early then accepted to be.

"Finally some relief from that gruesome train journey."

The fire and sky dragon slayers happily exclaimed while other laughed at them.

"Come let's go to the guild, then disperse. We need to give the report to master. Got it?"

Erza glared at her friends especially Natsu and Gray as these two were in hurry to go home.

"Yeah we got it Madam."

Both Natsu and Gray hugged each other to avoid the scarlet demon's rage.

Both Frosch and Mika were strolling around the market square in the hope of finding a familiar faces to help them out.

Again Frosch began to cry, but Mika hugged him and wiped his tears.

"No Froggy, we shouldn't cry in such hard situations or else we will lose hope. Don't worry we will find your friends soon. Believe me, got it!!" She smiled making the exceed smile.

"Thank you, Mika." Frosch smiled and hugged her back.

Just then, someone called out Frosch's name, both of them turned their head towards the direction of sound.

Frosch's smiled widened and let go of Mika's embrace and ran upto Rogue to give him a hug.

"Oh Frosch, where did you go? I missed you." Rogue bent down to lift the exceed in his arms.

"Fro thinks so too." Frosch hugged him back.

Mika stood there with a smile as her little froggy found his friends back. Both Sting and Yukino went upto her.

They bent down to reach her height, "Thank you little girl for taking care of Frosch while he was lost." Sting ruffled her messy hairs.

"Its okay, sir. I'm happy froggy found his friends." Mika bowed down and greeted them.

"Aw such a sweet girl. What's your name dear? You look kinda familiar. What are you doing here alone?" Yukino smiled and pinched Mika's chubby cheeks.

Hearing the last question, Mika remembered her own feat and soon began to cry as she couldn't control her fear of being left alone again.

"I got lost. That's when I met froggy, and decided to help him out by finding his friends." Mika cried rubbing her eyes.

The trio felt bad for the little girl and decided to help her out. Sting carried her in his arms,

"Hey sweetie, what's your name? Where are you parents? What are their names?" Sting asked her.

After sniffing for a bit, "My name is Mika Fullbuster. My daddy's name is Gray and mommy's name is Juvia.
   I don't know how to get back to house again. Will you help me out?"

Rogue ruffled her hairs and he felt grateful towards the little girl as she helped his exceed and took care of him.

"Oh dear, we know your parents. Come let's get you back to your parents." Yukino convinced her.

Mika's eyes widened in surprise, "Really, you know my mommy and daddy."

The trio nodded their head with a smile, "Hey froggy, look even I'm going back to my home. Once we go home, we can play with my toys." Mika extended her chubby arms to get hold of Frosch's arms.

The trio decided to take the little girl back to Fairytail guild and thank Juvia and Gray for their daughter's help.

As Gajeel and Lily were searching in the market square, they ran into team Natsu.

"Hey metal head, what are you doing here? Where are my kids?" Natsu growled at him.

Gajeel fidget as Gray looked suspiciously at him, "Your kids are fine. They are with Levy at the guild. But…."

"What but? Where is Juvia?" Gray asked him.

"Hey Stripper, actually Mika got lost. So I'm searching for her. You don't get tensed up."

Gajeel slowly broke the news to overprotective daddy.

"WHAT??? HOW??"

Gray caught hold of his collar. Gajeel told him everything which Juvia told him back in the guild.

After hearing the story, Gray frantically left his friends and went in search of his daughter awfully angry on his wife for her mistake.

Other members also joined the search force and looked for the little girl for 2 hours straight. They met one another at a come point the park.

"Did you guys find her?" Lucy worried asked her husband and other guys.

"No luck. What about you guys?" Natsu asked her and Erza.

"Same here also. Gray, stop worrying. Mika is strong nothing will happen to her. I'm sure she is safe somewhere.
   Come let's go to guild who knows Mika might have gotten back with someone's help." Erza patted her friends shoulder.

As the team along with Gajeel went back to the guild, they saw Juvia crying her heart out and no sight of Mika around the guild.

Juvia felt guilty once she saw her Gray-sama glaring at her. She put her head down due to fear of facing him,

"I'm sorry, Gray-sama. I lost our child due to my carelessness. I'm such a bad mother. I don't deserve to be your wife and Mika's mommy anymore."

Gray hugged his wife to calm her down, he knew it was not his wife's fault.

Their little girl was an energy ball and always curious to explore the world on her own.

"Hey Juvia, calm down. I'm sure Mika is safe somewhere. Let's wait till evening then…."

Suddenly the guild door opened to reveal the Sabertooth members, their 2 exceeds and Mika in Sting's arms.

"Mommy, Daddy"

Mika urged Sting to let her down and soon ran to hug her parents.

Both Juvia and Gray let out tears when they felt their little princess's hug and bent down to hig her back tightly.

"Yo Natsu-San!!!" Sting greeted.

"Hi Gajeel-San!!" Rogue greeted his idol.

"Hi Lucy-sama, Erza-sama, Wendy-sama and Carla-sama.." Yukino greeted the girls with zeal.

"How did you guys find Mika?" Natsu asked Sting.

Sting told them everything from the start how Mika escaped from the house, how she met Frosch and why it took them this long to reach the guild as they had some food because Mika was hungry.

"Sting-San, Rogue-San, Yukino-San, Lector and Frosch… thank you bringing back my daughter safe and sound. We owe you one. Thank you…
   And Frosch, thank you for taking care of Mika in our absence."

Juvia bowed and thanked them for their help.

"It's okay, Juvia-San. We should thank Mika-chan for taking care of my Frosch.
    Indeed, she is strong and well mannered just like her parents." Rogue thanked her back for Mika's help.

"No it's okay. We are really grateful for your help. Thank you Frosch."

Gray smiled and patted the little exceed who now was near Mika.

"It's okay, Gray-San. Mika is my friend." The little exceed smiled.

Mika's eyes widened when her friends called her out, "Froggy, come let me introduce you my friends."

Mika pulled the little exceed along with her to show her friends.

Later at the evening, after the Sabertooth members went back and the Fullbusters went back to their abode.

Gray carried his little princess in his arms who fell asleep on the way back home.

As soon as they reached, Gray laid Mika in her room safely tugged blanket over her and gave a good night kiss on her forehead.

In the master bedroom, Juvia waited for her husband and began to apologize for today's incident.

"It's fine. Now that she is safe that's what it matters. Come let's go to bed. I missed my wife." Gray pulled her into hug.

"But what if it happens again?" Juvia sounded worried as she was still traumatized from that incident.

"We just need to put those grills to avoid her jumping out from the windows." Gray chuckled and kissed his wife to make her relax.

What a day for Mika Fullbuster who spent some quality time exploring the world on her own.
