If you are writing a fan-fiction with a lot of main characters which is very prominent in IT and Stranger things fics, remember that most of the characters aren't yours.

They have personalities that have been portrayed by actors on-screen and if you don't take the time to study how they would react with your OC(s) then you fic will seem very unrealistic and your readers will grow distant with the characters.

This often scenes in fan-fictions with the following characters;
-Billy Hargrove
-Richie Tozier
-Eddie Kaspbrack
-Steve Harrington in season 1
There are a lot more but these are the ones I notice most frequently.↴
