Tobias

"Are you okay?" Elite asks as I watch her pull on her black jeans. "Yeah." I mumble as last night keeps on coming back with every detail. I don't like hurting Elite. I hate myself for doing it as well as hurting Ruby. I just couldn't stop myself. I couldn't let her go. I never did.

Her breath is heavy as I kiss down her neck. I can feel her fingers through my hair. I carry her to her room, as we kiss with so much hunger and passion.

"You seem distant." Elite's hand holds mine. "Oh, I am okay." I say, forcing a smile. I can't even look at her, without having all the memories flowing back. "Is this because of Ruby?" She asks. "Why are you saying this?" I ask as I put my other hand over our tangled hands. "Since you saw her yesterday, you've been distant." She looks away saying. "Hey, I am with you, alright?" I say, holding her chin, getting her to look at me. "I love you, Tobias. I always have." She says, wrapping her arms around my neck. I hug her, tapping her back. I can't bring myself to say it when I said it to Ruby last night.

I stroke her hair away from her face. "You're really as beautiful as I remember." I say. "So, you still remember?" She says.  I lay back on my back.

"What are we supposed to do until the ladies come back then?" Albert asks. "You are supposed take care of your child, man." Ash says. "Henry is welcome to have fun with us." Albert says. "Penny does have a point." I say, as Ash and Alex laugh. I wonder if Alex has feelings for Ruby. I wonder if he slept with her, kissed her. They said they're not dating but what if they're just taking things slow. Would Ruby be a cheater just like I am?

"I know. But, is it wrong I am willing to do it again?" I ask, looking at her. She stays silent for a minute. I stare at how her red hair is laying around her. How her fair skin and freckles turn me on by just looking at them. "I would, too." She says looking back at me.

The memory makes me smile. "What are you smiling about, man?" Ash says, handing me a beer as he sits next to me. "Nothing really." I say, taking a sip from my beer. "Why did you invite me, Ash?" I find myself asking. He looks at me, while sipping his beer. "Why do you think?" He asks. "I don't know." I say with a shrug. "You made a great friend back at senior year, Woods." He says. "Who could have thought, huh?" I say, nudging him. "Yeah, it is really nothing I could have imagined." He says, smiling. His hair that was always braided back at high school, is now short and waved. His nose still has that piecing. He's not wearing a silky shirt. Instead he's wearing a dark red hoodie. Ash Montoro changed a lot over the last five years, really. "You love her?" I ask. "More than I could have imagined, really." He says. "I am happy for you, man." I say, patting him on the shoulder. We cling our bottles together and drink.

Ruby

I stare at myself in that dress. It is the same style as Penny's dress. The freckles on my shoulders are on display. My neck looks better since the make up I applied this morning is hiding everything. I take a deep breath as I walk out of the dressing room. "Oh my god, Ruby, you look very pretty." Elizabeth and Penny gasp happily. I smile as I turn to show them the dress from the back. "Is it perfect, miss?" Our helper Eliza asks. "Yeah, but I think it is a little bit too long." I say. "That will not be a problem." She says. She measures my height. "It will be ready on the wedding day, right?" Elizabeth asks. "Of course, Miss Yoshida." Eliza answers with a smile. "Well, my turn then." Emily says as she stands up. "I will change, give me a second." I say as I walk back into the dressing room.

As we wait for Dianna to finish trying on her dress, Emily went to answer a call. Penny and Elizabeth go to the bathroom, leaving me and Elite alone together. "You and Alexander. Are you, you know?" She speaks, breaking the awkward silence. "Oh, no. He's really just my boss and friend." I say, a nervous smile finding its way to my lips. "You're not seeing anyone, then?" She asks. "No. Not really." I say. It's incredibly hard to talk to her when all I can think about is how her boyfriend slept with me last night. "Can I ask you something?" She asks after minutes of silence. "Of course." I say, looking at her. "Did you and Tobias meet a lot back in New York?" She asks. "Well, a few times." I say. "Did he tell you anything?" She asks. "I don't understand." I say. "Did he tell you that he still loves you, maybe?" She asks. I look at her, with a lot of guilt and pain.

"I love you. Please remember that."

His voice echos through my head. "He did, didn't he?" She says with pain. "No, of course not, Elite." I say. "You're a liar!" She says as she looks away. I look at my hands. This is so awkward and wrong. "How do I look then? Wait? Where is everyone?" Dianna says, looking at me and Elite. "Look at you." Elizabeth arrives with Penny. "Excuse me." Elite skips away into the direction, that Elizabeth and Penny came from. "Is she alright?" Penny asks, looking at me. "Yeah." I say nodding and standing up.

I take a deep breath as I walk out of the shop. My chest feels too small for my organs. I feel like I am choking. I hold my chest. I am a terrible person. Elite doesn't deserve this. This is my karma for actually sleeping with someone else's boyfriend. I am having a panic attack on a street, in the middle of Vegas.
