burning colors of amber at the rings,

      countless shouts and whispering,

      all i can hear is her calling my name,

      and just like that, all is but a flame.

      cold fingers at my throat,

      dead eyes deep into my soul,

      music that is flat like the monitor,

      i await my death with ease.

      metallic taste underneath my tongue,

      eyes dark with numb,

      perhaps everything will go away,

      and in another reality, she would be mine.

      hooded figures, and wrinkled hands,

      ivory embedded into skin,

      thread woven into hearts, 

      so, maybe, gold can stain me.

      footsteps.

      echoing.

       screams.

      bellowing.

       colors.

      tainted.

       tears.

       flowing.
