Jeongguk was deeply asleep, snuggling in Taehyung's warm embrace as suddenly the loud sound of the bedroom door opening woke both of them up.

"Taehyung! Why aren't you an- ooh." A handsome tall man stood in the door frame, eyes widening as he spotted the position the two were in.

"Seokjin, what are you doing here?!" Taehyung exclaimed wide awake now, sleeping deeply just seconds ago.

"I just wanted to tell you that your schedule for today is cancelled but you weren't answering your phone so i wanted to check up on you but i can see why you weren't answering." Seokjin smirked at Jeongguk who was still not comprehending any of this, as he just had a way to good night of sleep that he just wanted to continue for another hour or so.

"Okay, this is not what it looks like. We didn't-" "Y'all didn't bang. Sure, i get it." Seokjin said bluntly, obviously not believing a word of what Taehyung was saying. "You are in one bed, he looks exhausted and you don't have a shirt on. Suuure."

That's when Jeongguk was suddenly awake as he felt that wow-- Taehyung really didn't wear a shirt and it wasn't a sight he wants to miss if he's being honest.

"Oh you are awake now. Morning, i'm Kim Seokjin, Taehyung's manager and best friend." He reached his hand out to Jeongguk who was still comfortably snuggling under the covers.

"Hello, i'm Jeongguk. Nice to meet you." Gguk sat up and shook his hand, noticing his own voice was still kind of raspy.

"Well i hope you two used proper protection because tha-" Just as Seokjin was about to sit down, Taehyung pushed him off with a quick shove of his hand.

"Real funny, Jin. Good that you two met but you reaaally need to leave now." Taehyung fake laughed, getting out of bed and pushing his best friend towards the apartment door.

"Goodbye!!" Jeongguk only heard Jin scream before Taehyung shoved him out shut the door.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why he's like that. But hey my schedule is cancelled, perfect timing." Taehyung went to lay down beside Jeongguk again, putting his arm around him, pulling him closer, Jeongguk immediately nuzzling his face in Taehyung's neck.

"Y-yeah. What time is it?" Gguk tried to hide his blush as he recalled that Taehyung was shirtless which he actually didn't know why exactly but is he going to complain? No.

He felt Taehyung shift and remove one of his hands off Jeongguk to grab his phone. "It's 10:47."

Jeongguk's eyes widened since he wanted to visit Hyeree at 10am already, jumping up almost instantly.

"I-i have to go." He said walking to the living room hastily, gathering his things, Tae following him like a lost duckling.

"Oh.. already?" Jeongguk could sense the sadness in his voice. He himself was pretty sad too, this was a longer than intended but sweet and also sad date -- a lot happened.

"Yeah." He turned around after stuffing his charger back in his backpack, seeing a cute pout across Tae's lips. "Where are you going?"

"Visiting my sister in the hospital." Jeongguk sighed at the thought of having to take the subway without a ticket again, the chance of getting caught was going to increase everytime he did it.

"I can drive you!" Taehyung jolted up, smiling cutely. "And didn't you say your sister is a fan? I could meet her! I have no schedule anyways! Please Ggukie." He went down on his knees, head down, putting his hands together like hes praying. "Please, please."

"I-i don't know Taehyung." It's not that he didn't want him to come along but he would feel like he's using Taehyung as his personal driver and also he didn't want them two to be seen together by any press, for the sake of Tae's career.

"I just wanna spend more time with you. Please Ggukie." Taehyung looked up, still flaunting a cute pout and big innocent looking eyes.

Jeongguk sighed as his heart fluttered. He did want to spend more time with him too.

"o-okay." Gguk's blush on his cheeks still evident as Taehyung jumped up, pinching them once.

"Yey! Let me just put on a shirt and face mask." He watched Taehyung bolt up the stairs to his bedroom excitedly with a smile as his tummy started to feel that warmth yet again.

After Taehyung put on a shirt, jacket and a face mask they drove to the childrens hospital where Hyeree was stationed.
Jeongguk was very exicted to see his precious sister again but also dreading it.
He was the one who had to tell her that their mother is also in a hospital, that their dad is gone to wherever.

"We're here to see Jeon Hyeree." Jeongguk went up to the receptionist who was smiling nicely at him, before clicking through the computer infront of her.

"Yes, we have one scheduled visitor. Could I see your ID?" Gguk pulled out his wallet instantly, handing over his ID to the woman.

"Okay Jeon Jeongguk, just as scheduled. Hyeree got moved to room 182. It's just up there." She handed Jeongguk his ID back, pointing at the staircase, a sign beside it saying 'rooms 100 to 199'.

After thanking the receptionist, they made their way to Hyeree's room, grabbing a hot chocolate for her on the way.

Gguk softly knocked on the room door with the number 182 before placing his hand on the door handle and pressing down.

"Ggukie!!" Hyeree immediately exclaimed upon seeing her older brother, excitedly bopping up and down on her bed, teddy bear in her right hand.

"Hyeree~" Jeongguk mocked her tone of voice as he went to hug her tightly, Taehyung hiding in the door frame, so she couldn't see him yet. "I have a special guest who wants to meet you, sweetie."

"who? who? who?" She blabbered, her eyes lighting up from excitement.

Tae knew that was his sign to come up, so he did, taking off his mask in the process revealing his face, making sure to not spill the hot chocolate he held in his hand.
"Hyeree-ya~" Tae stepped closer to Jeongguk, putting his arm around his waist softly yet possessively, placing the drink on her little side table.

The little girl on the other hand was shocked to see Taehyung since he had heard so much about him from Jeongguk, her mouth wide open.

"Woah, you are so cute!!" Tae went to pinch her cheek, making her snap out of the shock and laugh instead.

"I love your puppy!" She pointed at a little plushie she had which looked exactly like Yeontan, Taehyung's puppy. "That's why i got this one and i named her Yeonhan!"

"Wooow! It really looks like him!" Taehyung smiled picking up the tiny dog plush.

After some more talking Taehyung sweetly helped his little sister drink the hot chocolate so she wouldnt burn herself and also helped her doing her math homework that she was obviously dreading to do as the papers where carelessly spread across the side table .

Jeongguk watched the situation with a huge smile on his face. He was very happy to see Hyeree getting along so incredibly well with Taehyung immediately. She is usually a very shy and reserved kid around strangers but Tae seemed to have broken her shell right away.

"How about something savory now? You must be hungry after all that hard math." Tae suggested, throwing away the empty paper cup from the finished hot chocolate , Hyeree nodding frantically exactly knowing what she wanted. "Potato buns!"

"I'll get some." Just as Jeongguk was ready to go to the door and to the cafeteria, Taehyung pushed him aside, smiling, hand sliding down on Jeongguk's back.
"I'll get them." And before he could interrupt him, he was out the door.

He sighed, figuring it would be the perfect timing to tell his little sister about their family problems.

"Hyeree, sweetheart we need to talk but don't worry, everything is okay." Jeongguk sat down next to her as her face turned from brightly smiling to worried and confused as she nodded, taking her older brother's hands and playing with them.

"Mommy is in the hospital too right now but it's nothing bad. She just needs to rest. And Daddy - well, he went on a trip." He lied not wanting to worry her even more about her dad's disappearance.

She nodded softly, believing him. "Mommy is okay?"

"Yes, mommy is okay." He assured her, taking one hand to comb her hair out of her face carefully.

"But you are home all alone! Stay with me!!" Hyeree slung her arms around Jeongguk's, worried about him having to stay in their house all by himself.

"I would stay with you but i can't, princess." He embraced her tightly, thinking about how brave she had been -- staying here alone for the past weeks and making no trouble at all. "You are such a brave girl." He hugged her even tighter, releasing upon hearing the door handle press down.

"I got what you requested, sweetie." Taehyung made his way over to the bed, a big plate in his hand with 4 potato buns on it, placing it right in front of her.

Taehyung put his arm around Jeongguk's shoulder again, as he also sat down on the bed beside him. Gguk unconsciously moving closer, while he watched Hyeree enjoy her meal.

As she was munching she seemed to notice Tae s arm around Jeongguk as she kept staring at is confused.

That's how their mom and dad used to sit before they got into a lot of fights, very close to eachother and dad's arm around their mom.

And that gave Hyeree a great idea.

"Taehyung can Ggukie live with you so he isn't home alone?" She asked sweetly while stuffing her mouth with the bun.

"Hyeree! No-" Jeongguk just wanted to scold her for asking such question as he was interrupted by Tae.

"Yes Hyeree, he can stay with me. Jeonggukie would like that, wouldn't he?" Taehyung smiled, making Jeongguk gulp with nervousness, not knowing what to say.
