Jeongguk was walking out of their big family home, having difficulties locking the door as in his one hand he had a bright blue bag filled with presents, two year old Hyunjae in the other arm.

"Daddy, why i don't get present?" He felt his small baby girl nuzzle he face into his neck as they walked over to the car, seeing his husband Taehyung lovingly strap in their five year old Jeonjoo into her car seat.

"Because it's Jaemin's birthday and not yours, Jae. But i'm sure Auntie Hyeree and Grandma have a present for you like they always do." He smiled at her, seeing her eyes lit up in joy, handing her over to a waiting Taehyung, ready to get her in the car as well.

"Got the presents, hyung." Gguk kissed his husband's cheek out of habit, loving to show little gestures of affection even after 9 years of their relationship, seeing the older's eyes turn into beautiful cresent moons. "Good, baby."

After putting the large bag of presents into the trunk, he walked over to the passenger seat door, opening it and getting in, turning to already see Hyunjae falling asleep while Taehyung was securing her seatbelt and Jeonjoo playing around with her favorite barbie doll excitedly.

Taehyung got in the car beside him, checking behind him for the kids before starting to drive to Jimin's and Namjoon's house for their son Jaemin's birthday who was going to turn seven years old today.

They adopted him just one year after getting married, around the time of Gguk's and Tae's wedding, when he was 3 years old and he was really the cutest kid in existence to Gguk -- well until their own girls came along.

About half a year after getting married they decided, they wanted to make a dream come true, buy a house and start a family -- so they adopted Jeonjoo at 1 year old from a pretty bad family situation where she was always passed on since no one wanted to have her which resulted in her being a very sad and troubled kid.

But they gave her a loving home and with therapy and patience, she's gotten so much better, became way happier and more playful by the day.

And just 2 years later they felt ready to expand their small family, adopting Hyunjae from a young mother who didn't want to abort her child but also did not feel ready to care for one, receiving her pretty much right after birth.

"Daddy, are uncles gonna be there?" He heard Jeonjoo ask, turning around his head slightly, seeing her still fiddling around with the hair of her doll, dividing it into three strands and starting to braid it.

"Of course, Yoongi and Jin are going to be there. And Joonie and Jimin." He smiled at her in adoration, knowing how much she loves her uncles.

Gguk has to say he missed them all too, not seeing them as often as he used to.

They soon arrived at their residence, Jeongguk immediately seeing baby blue ballons dangling from the flower pot aside of their entrance door, opening the door behind him and getting Jeonjoo out of her seat and into his arms while Taehyung did the same to a still sleepy Hyunjae.

After getting the bag of presents out of the trunk, they went through the gate into the garden and onto the front porch, the girls almost fighting about who got to knock on the door this time.

They ended up knocking on it together, Gguk setting down Jeonjoo afterwards, immediately feeling her tiny arms sling around his leg.

The door opened relieving Jimin with Jaemin attached to him, wearing an adorable king crown with a seven on it. "Gguks, Tae!"

Gguk found himself strapped into a tight hug from Jimin seconds later, Tae smushed beside him -- a thing that would never change.

Releasing himself from the hug he looked over to Jaemin who's eyes were fixated on the bag in his hand. "Happy birthday, Jaeminie. This is for you from uncles, Joo and Jae."

Gguk crouched down slightly handing the bag to Jaemin who's eyes were sparkling with joy already.

"What do we say, Jaemin?" Jimin looked over to his son who immediately sat down the bag and bowed politely.

"Thank you!!" He went to hug Taehyung first and then stumbling over to Jeongguk to hug him as well, running off with the bag into the house afterwards.

"Come in, you guys." Jimin waved them inside, immediately taking Hyunjae into his own arms and Jeonjoo grabbing onto his hand so that Gguk and Tae could pull off their jackets.

"Jeonjoo, Hyunjae, how are my favorite little girls in the world?" Gguk watched as Jimin talked to their girls lovingly as he handed his jacket to Taehyung who hung them up, hand sneaking around his waist after.

Gguk felt his heart swell with pride, looking at their beautiful girls and feeling Taehyung's hand squeeze his waist -- his habit of doing that really never stopped.

They strolled over to the living room, seeing a bunch of kids already racing through the room and family sitting around and chatting, greeting everyone they knew and didnt know with a smile.

"Googie!" Jeongguk smiled eye to eye when hearing the nickname his sister gave him.

"Hyeree, how's the first week of middle school going?" He hugged her tightly, looking at her all grown up already in his eyes but face remained the same -- dark brown eyes, squishy cheeks and a natural blush on her face.

"It's good!! Googie, can i go play with Jeonjoo and Hyunjae?" he watched her smile sweetly, knowing how much she grew to love kids and especially her nieces.

"Of course!" Jeongguk nodded and before he could register a anything she was already gone, both girls on one of her hands and off to all the other kids playing around.

After sending them off to play with Hyeree, Gguk looked around seeing that Taehyung was already talking to his mother.

It was a nice atmosphere, everyone eating cake and chatting casually with eachother, time flying like it was nothing and more and more kids with their parents and family leaving.

So the party shrunk towards the evening, only Gguk, Tae, Namjoon, Jimin, Jin and Yoongi, and of course their kids, remaining.

Jeonjoo and Hyunjae were beyond tired at this point from playing with Hyeree all afternoon, both falling asleep in their dad's arms.

Gguk and Tae both setting them down to sleep in the guest room, tugging them in sweetly and giving them a goodnight kiss each on their foreheads before going back to the living room and sitting down, cuddled together on the couch.

"Want a drink of champagne since we are all together?" Jimin suggested after also brining Jaemin to bed, already opening the bottle without an answer from anyone.

"We gotta drive home, Chim." Gguk laughed at him, knowing how quickly he himself would get tipsy and know that Taehyung was exactly the same, recalling the last time Jimin convinced him to take a bunch of tequila shots.

"Sleep here! Our guest room is always free. And also the girls are already asleep anyways. We don't wanna wake them up, do we?" He already poured glasses out, not leaving Gguk another choice than to accept the offer and stay the night.

Gguk looked around, now really noticing that everyone was here and all of them were together again for once after what seemed like an eternity.

He had missed this casual hanging out with eachother a lot but it was hard to organize since everyone is going their own ways now -- Jimin and Namjoon having a restaurant of their own, Yoongi and Jin being busy producing and writing, Taehyung also going into music production after retiring as an idol.

Jimin started handing out the glasses filled with the fizzy alcohol to everyone and almost already downing it after saying a simple 'cheers' but Jeongguk just felt like he had something on his mind, burning on his tongue to be said.

"Wait can i say something?" he interruped everyone almost having the glasses to their lips, his friends staring back at him confusedly.

"Go ahead, gguk. Of course." Namjoon nodded, laying his arm sweetly around the much smaller Jimin.

Jeongguk took a deep breath just wanting to say everything that was on his mind right now, just really -- wanting to thank his friends.

"Well, I really miss all of you so much. I know live is busy and we all got our own things to do, so i appreciate moments like these so much. I'm grateful i got to meet you. Jimin, thank you for being my best friend. Namjoon, thank you for being my big brother. Yoongi, thank you for being my advisor. Jin, thank you for watching the girls so often. And Taehyung --" He looked over to the love of his life who's eyes shimmered, filling with tears a little. "Thank you for being the best husband i could have wished for and the man i'm raising children with."

Gguk looked at each of his friend, seeing their eyes sparkle a little, smiling.

"Group hug?" Taehyung suggested, standing up, everyone following suit, standing in a big group hug for at least 5 minutes.

The rest of the night was laughs and old stories, drinking together and enjoying seeing eachother, being all together again.

After finishing the whole bottle of champagne, Jin and Yoongi went home by a taxi and Gguk and Tae went into the guest room quietly, seeing their daughter sleep soundly and piled up in the middle of the bed.

Jeongguk layed on one side, Taehyung on the other, ready to fall asleep as well but not forgetting to exchange their usual 'i love you' and goodnight kiss before falling asleep all together peacefully, both Jeonjoo and Hyunjae snuggled inbetween them.

Gguk watching Tae fall asleep almost immediately, making him smile and take his time to admire his family.

He had found his dream and paradise in one, marrying the love of his life and raising two beautiful children together, almost a tear falling down at how much his life evolved.

Like this, with Taehyung, Jeonjoo and Hyunjae, he truly felt complete and meant to be.
