Jeongguk woke up, sun shining in his face through the thin curtains attached to the bedroom's windows.

Confused he looked around, his head slightly aching, not being able to recall how he got into bed, noticing Taehyung sleeping soundly beside him.

The subtle rays of sunshine perfectly hit the older one's honey skin and sky hair, glittering down on his face, making him look ethereal in Jeongguk's eyes.

Not wanting to wake the angel up, Gguk quietly reached for his phone seeing the screen flashed with notifications, the brightness making his eyes sting a little.

He unlocked his phone, seeing multiple texts from Jimin that were send the previous night, curiously going over them as his eyes were still a little foggy and dry.

'He proposed to me on to spot after we made up', he read in his head, not really believing what flashed across the screen.

He had to contain the joy for his two best friends finally being back together and apparently stronger than they ever where before, knowing from the beginning that they were meant for eachother.

Quietly celebrating, not wanting to wake Tae from his deep slumber, he was interrupted by his phone vigorously vibrating -- his mom's caller ID flashing on the screen.

He hadn't had much contact with her the past months, only occasionally getting updates from her and the police regarding Hyeree, his little sister still constantly in the back of his head, missing her more than anything in this world.

He still had occasional breakdowns when he randomly dreamt of her again, somehow getting found not alive anymore, her little hands cold and heart not beating anymore -- it was the worst nightmares he's ever had.

Hesitantly he pressed the green accept button, raising the phone to his ear, getting up from the bed in the process as he saw Taehyung stir in his sleep, not wanting to wake him accidentally.

"Mom?" Jeongguk questioned with a low, quiet tone, not really knowing why she would want to call him, their relationship really had gone uncomfortable and odd to him ever since his sisters disappearance.

"Jeongguk- they-" He heard his mom's tear drenched voice, not being able to tell if it was of happiness or devastation or something inbetween.

"Mom, calm down, tell me what happened." He strolled down the stairs, trying to calm her with a soft tone, worried about what the matter was.

"They- found her- s-shes okay-" Jeongguk's heart stopped beating for a moment, a shiver running down his spine as the words came through the speaker, his head spinning in slight confusion.

"W-what exactly m-mom-" He only managed to stutter out, hands shaking and phone almost slipping out of his hand as a result.

"H-he wanted- to take her out of the country- at th-the airport- took th-them to the p-police-" He heard his mother sob loudly, breathing heavily as well at the realisation that they were probably going to get their little Hyeree back.

"Mom w-we are coming to pick you up a-and get Hyeree okay? We'll be right there, alright?" Jeongguk hectically scrambled to wake up Taehyung not even waiting for his mother's response properly before saying a last 'we'll be right there' and hanging up.

Gguk almost tripped on the steps, reaching their bedroom, only to see a half awake Taehyung standing ready to go down the stairs, one eye open one closed, hair messy and little strands sticking in different directions.

"What's going on, Ggukie?" He saw the older one wanting to go in for a kiss, tiredly swaying around, his head probably spinning and hurting as well from yesterdays yesterday's alcohol.

"T-tae they found hyeree we- we need to go now!" Gguk couldn't control the words coming out, everything just a cluster of thoughts in his head that he didn't know how to organize.

Seeing Taehyungs face instantly jolt awake, he looked at him in disbelief but quickly grabbing sweatshorts and pulling them on before running to grab his car keys, Jeongguk also putting on a different shirt and slipping on the nearest pants he could find.

Rushing out the door, both their hair messy, eyes still a little tired but bodies more than awake.

Just seconds later they sat in the car rushing over the busy streets to pick up Jeongguk's mother from their old house.

Gguk was in deep thought looking out the window as he saw the world around him flashing by.

It's been over half a year since he last seen his beautiful sister, wondering if she changed much, how their dad treated her and where they even went.

Many questions flashed through his mind not really knowing how to organize them properly, it was all too overwhelming at this point.

They stopped at his old house and picked up his mother, the house looking not in it's best condition since he left, briefly catching a glance at his bedroom window, a shiver making it's way down his spine at the memories connected with it.

The car ride was quiet and concentrated, occasionally hearing a sniffle from the backseat, holding his mother's hand over his shoulder wordlessly.

They arrived and walked into the police station, Jeongguk feeling his mother's hand shaking angstily, looking at her as tears already rose to her eyes.

He squeezed her hand in support as they reached the counter and she started to explain why there were here, Jeongguk feeling Tae's hand sneak around his waist.

"Do you want me to stay here and wait? I don't want to disturb." He whispered carefully into Jeongguk's ear, caressing his waist softly and caring.

"You don't disturb anything, i-it's more like i need you n-not to break down." He weakly looked into his boyfriend's eyes who were staring back at him, really wanting to lose himself contstantly in them but right now it was just not the time for it.

Taehyung nodded, a loving glaze painted across his face as he squeezed his waist one more time before sliding down Gguk's arm to intertwine their hands again.

"Okay, your daughter is with one of our officers right now, follow me please." Jeongguk felt his heart stop one more time, taking both his mothers and Taehyung's hand tighter into his, as he already felt tears gathering in his eyes again.

They followed the man hand in hand through a long corridor, Jeongguk almost feeling like his legs were giving out under him, shaking as they reached a certain door.

"Alright she's in here, i'll open the door now if that's okay with you?" The officer gently placed his hand on the door nob, awaiting an answer as he looked back and forth between Gguk and his mother.

He looked over to his mom standing beside him, firmly pressing her hand before nodding and mumbling a quiet 'yes please'.

The man nodded as well, twisting the door knob around, Jeongguk's stomach quenching upon seeing the small girl sitting on the carpet playing with a barbie doll in her hand, talking to the female officer sitting infront of her.

Hair gotten slightly longer and darker but the same cute face remaining with a bright smile and deep hazelnut eyes, looking right back at them.

"Mommy! Ggukie!" Hyeree jumped up in joy, throwing her doll to the side and running into their arms, pure joy in her eyes.

Gguk let go of Taehyung's hand, hugging his little sister tightly with bith arms, lifting her up, tears running down his face at finally being able to have her in his arms again.

"We missed you so much-" He heard his mother beside him also hugging Hyeree as tightly as she could. "so much."

"I missed you too, mommy!" Gguk watched with a smile as the little girl in his grip slung her arms around her mother hugging her like she was never going to let her go.

"Baby, was dad nice to you?" She asked, her hand going to softly carress her daughters cheek in his son's arms.

"Yes, we were at Nana's and then Dad said he wanted to go on a trip but they wouldn't let him go at the airport and then he got very mean." Jeongguk knew that his father was going to try to flee with her, he had that gut feeling from the beginning, that he was trying to separate her from her family for forever -- it really would have killed him if it had come that way.

He looked over at Taehyung who was standing slightly aside smiling with shimmering eyes, watching over the whole situation.

Gguk bopped his head to the side and back signaling him to come over to join their big family hug, snaking an arm around his waist before also hugging Hyeree and his mother and that's when Gguk knew that they all together will be a family.

He felt totally complete again, having his sister, mother and boyfriend by his side.
