So, in 2015-ish, I asked two of my friends, caleidoscope and Cathy who is no longer on wattpad, if I could have their old PSD files and "redesign" their covers. My friends and I do some pretty interesting graphic exercises LOL. The goal of this project was just to see how I could re-imagine the graphics, not necessarily how make a "better graphic". 

I just really liked this project, and my friend found it quite interesting since the making process on wattpad isn't really collaborative. Just exploring how someone views a graphic and how they work in photoshop was pretty interesting. It even forced me to work with some elements that I wouldn't usually work with. I also learned who I would work best with if I collaborated in real time with them.

This is what we ended up with at the end. The left is the original, the right is my version. 

Honestly, if people still have their PSDs — with most of the original files (i.e. all the layers aren't collapsed) — I'd be down to do this again.
