I... did a manip recently based on a contest prompt that my friend told me to try. I'm not entering the competition but I wanted to try out the prompt 

Here's a very short walkthrough of my process. LOL 
I cut, composed, added lighting, then fixed up the colors.

+ All the photos were found on pintrest ( model and magic circle )
+ Got the background from unsplash. 
+ The textures are stuff i got a long time ago from devianart.
+ The typeface is Queen 
+ I made the fire myself 
+ All coloring and retouching was done with a lot of complaining and references 
+ I'm seventy-five precent sure the magic circle is from card captor sakura
