I look at the young reaper that looks about my age. He had helped me up from falling down from a tree. I felt a small spark but I didn't understand what it was. Ronald I think that's what he said he was called. Ronald. I smiled. What a lovely name. I watched as he left the park his blonde and black hair shakes in the wind. I head home after a few ours. In the way home I run into my father and mother taking a evening stroll. My mom is human so we had to live in the human realm. It was my birthday so we stopped by a small cake shop and got me a cake. It was amazing but little did I know that perfect day would end in just a few minutes. Father lead us into an ally because he had a bad feeling something would happen if we stayed out in the open. As we get close to our house we are cut off. Father pushes us behind him.

"What to you want demon" father says in a low voice. The demon just chuckles and tried to stab father. Mother yelled and jumped in front of father taking the stab. The demon curses under his breath and runs off.

"Mother!" I scream as I run over to her body.  I hold her until her stops breathing. I sob with her in my arms. Happy birthday to me...
