"Father are we going to the phantomhive mansion today?" I ask wanting to see my friend Kami. I'm Sabby Grell's daughter. I'm a born grimreaper unlike many grimreapers.

"Maybe I don't know if Bassy will be welcoming but we might stop by if you want." Father says. I smile in satisfaction. "Sabby tonight William is coming for dinner with the reaper me and him are training." Father adds. I nod excitement fulling me up. It's not often we have company. I run to my room to grab my red gloves that I always wear in public plus they're the gloves Kami gave to me for my birthday last year.

"Can I go myself I have my pencil and chainsaw if I get attacked." I beg with my childish voice that always works. Father looks at me for a second then signs.

"Fine hut be careful I'll be over in a bit it pick you up." He says giving me a small smile. I thank him then head out. It only take a few minutes to get to the mason when I jump roof to roof. I knock on the door and wait for it to be opened.

"Sabby. Where is your father?" Sebastian asks opening the door and he looks around.

"I came on my own. Is Kami here?" I ask as he lets me in. Sebastian shakes his head a little.

"No not at the moment but she should be back soon from town." He explains. "Would you like to keep my master company while you wait?" I nod and follow Sebastian to Ciel's study. Sebastian knocks on the door and we hear a quick come in. I set one foot in then Sebastian clears his throat asking for my weapon. I sigh and hand him my chair saw then I walk in.

Sabby? What are you doing here?" Ciel asks once I'm fully in his study. Me and Ciel don't get along %100 but we can stand each other.

"I came to visit Kami but it appears she isn't here. So I came in here to keep you company." I explain sitting in a chair close by. Sebastian leaves the room to make some tea for us as we wait.

"Do you want to play some chess?" Ciel asks after several minutes of unwanted silence. We walk silently until we here a female voice.

"Hello father is Kami around?" I hear then Sebastian sighs.

"I'm afraid not Serenity but Grell's daughter is here waiting for her so you can go up and find then." I hear Sebastian say. I hear footsteps then the demon comes into view.

"Hello Serenity." I greet her. She smile softly.

"Hello Savannah." She greets using my full name, she never really liked using my little nickname. We continue our way to where we were going.

"How about we play some pool due to there being three of us." I suggest.

"How about four?" I hear from the door. I turn and see my best friend. We hug and in can't help but see her raven colored hair has grown a little but it's till short. Kami is Sebastian's sister, younger sister. She looks about the same age as me and acts my age but she's around fifty five years old.

"Hello Serenity." She say noticing her. "Where's Katherine?" She asks.

"I left her at home to clean while I go out and I came here to ask if you wanted to come to dinner. It sees that William will not be home tonight for dinner so we have a enough." She suggests.

"I would love too." Kami replies. We soon get on with the game of pool and split up in teams.

I look at the clock after pool to see it is about time to head home. I thank them for the fun and I get my weapon from Sebastian and thank him for letting me in. He's like a second father to me when father is at work and today is a rare day for him to be home. When I arrive I'm hit by the spell of food being cooked. My father may not seem like a good cook but he is. I walk to my room and see my dog Cally sleeping in my bed. I close the door and pet her. She's a golden retriever and old I've had her ever since my mother died when I was seven, I'm now eighteen. I will be turning nineteen in a few days which is also the date my mother died.

"Sabby could you get the door?" I hear father ask from the kitchen. I walk to the door and open it to see William and another reaper with black solid glasses, blonde and black hair and he looks around my age.

"Hello William and?" I question after shaking William's hand.

"Ronald." He answers me shaking my hand. I feel a small spark and we both look at each other and I feel myself blush. I nod and I quickly head to the kitchen to get out of the awkward situations but yet I liked it. I get the table set up and everyone sits and starts to each in silence. Every once in a while I would see Ronald look at me. Every time I would feel myself blush and my heart would speed up then slow down to normal. When we finish eating take the dishes to the kitchen and I start to clean. While I work Ronald walks in and smiles when I look at him. "William and Grell kicked me out of the conversation they were having about work so I came in here." He explains himself.

"Well I'm almost done with cleaning the dishes then I'll start on the cookies for desert." I say grabbing one of the last few plates. Ronald nods and sit on one of the chairs in the room. I feel him looking at me as work. I can't help but think I know him for many years ago but I just can't put my finger on it. I shake my head a little to clear the thought. I finish the lady plate and I get everything cleaned before I get everything I need for the cookies.

It doesn't take long to get everything done cookies out of the oven. Ronald goes to take one but I slap his hand away. I shake my head a little and I pick up the plate of cookies then I feel something thrown at me. I look on the floor to see flour everywhere. I groan and set the cookies down and I look at Ronald. I smiles and takes the bag if flour next to him so I couldn't get it.

"Thank me you for making a mess for me to clean." I say rolling my eyes a little. He frowns a little down at me and he set the bag if flour down on the counter. He turns to get a rag to help then I grab some flour and throw it at him. He turns and glares at me playfully. "Now we both have a mess to clean." I say with a smile. He smiles back at me making me blush lightly before looking down. We clean the mess quickly and Ronald leaves to talk to my father and William. I clean everything and pick up the plate of cookies and I start my way to the sitting room. I'm just about to open the door when I hear my name.

"Sabby, she was born a reaper which you know is rare. And because of that she well she's, she has special powers that makes her well she can change the soul of a person. I can't really explain it other than that. Because of her special power she's targeted by Angels and some Demons. I just I want to trust you with my daughter but you will be at high risk. You'll have to be able to protect her." I hear father explain to someone.

"I'm sure sir I will do my best to protect your daughter. Does she know about the power she has?" I hear Ronald ask then my father sigh.

"No. I have never gotten to tell her about the power I just don't think she can handle it yet until her actually starts the job." Father says. I walk in making all three look at me. I set the cookies down on the small coffee table. I look at my father then Ronald feeling the tears coming. I turn and walk to the door and I sniffle a little.

"If you excuse me I'll be in my room." I say weakly and I walk out. I rush to my room and I plop on my bed feeling torn. Father has never kept something from me before its just not like him especially something as important has a power I didn't know I had. Cally jumps up onto my bed and whimpers at me like she would do when she knew something is wrong. She licks my face and I notice I'm crying. I wipe away a few tears and lay down. I lay there for a few minutes when I hear a knock no the door. I don't answer but it opens. Father walks in and Ronald follows. I look at Ronald and give him a small smile then it falls to a frown when I look at father. Cally looks at then and starts to growl knowing I'm not every happy with father.

"What has made you so upset?" Father asks trying to get me talk. I sigh and pet Cally. I don't answer instead I just motion for father to leave. I give Ronald a look telling him to stay for some odd reason. I sit up and look at him.

"What we're you talking about with my father?" I ask wanting to know how my secret power I didn't know about was brought up.

"Well. I was asking to quart you." He says looking at me with a little hope in his eyes that I would agree. I nod Joy now taking over.

"I would love to." I say making him smile widely. We talk for a few more minutes before he had to leave. I change into a nightgown and I lay down next to Cally before closing my eyes.
