Chapter Thirty Two: Little Game

November 3rd, Monday

Your POV

I walked down the street with my group behind me and Kyle by my side.
The school appeared behind the few trees in the front by the sidewalk where we were walking.

"So what's the plan?" Jemma asked me.
I turned to her with a devilish look on my face.
The shadow had talked to her and she told him why she didn't trust us before. She was expecting us but didn't know if it was actually us, she believes us now.

"Do not fall in love or become close with anyone," I replied.

Everyone nodded and we continued walking.
We walked into the school as a group, everyone turned and looked at us but it was mainly me for some reason. I didn't recognize any of these people and we just walked past all of them without making eye contact with any of them.
I stopped at the top of the first flight of stairs.

"Can anyone be so kind as to direct us to Mrs. Okami's class?" I asked.
The students looked around confused.

"We'll find it on our own then." I walked up the next flight of stairs and down a hallway with classrooms.
A woman with ocean blue eyes and long blonde hair stood in one of the classrooms.
I walked in and looked at her.

"Miss?"
She looked up at me.

"Ah, Y/N. You're early," She replied.
I looked at her confused.

"How do you know my name?" I asked her.
She put her glasses on and looked at me again.

"I'm sorry I must have you confused with someone else, are you the new students?"

"Yes," Bella replied before I could speak.

"Do you know where we can find Mrs. Okami's class?" Auri~San asked her.

"I am Mrs Okami, and this is my classroom. You're in the right spot," She replied.

"Where should we sit?" Kyle asked sternly.

"In the back will be fine," Mrs Okami replied.
We walked to the back of the class and sat down on the desks.
I watched the doors closely.
Okami left a few moments later leaving us alone.

"Does everyone have the list of people we need to keep an eye on?" I asked.
They all nodded.

I noticed there was a class photo on the wall. I walked over and looked at it. All the students that we saw downstairs were in it. The two boys I saw on the train were on there too.
The blonde one had his arm around a girls shoulder. I looked closely at the girl and noticed she looked exactly like me. Other girls were surrounded around her. Three of them all had brown hair and blonde highlights but with different hair styles and facial features. One girl with pink hair was standing next to one of the boys I saw on the train, the one with the rabbit ears. Another boy with black hair had his arm wrapped around a girl's neck. Her hair was as black as a coal and her purple eyes brought out her pale face. Seated in front of the other boy I saw on the train, the one with the strawberry blonde hair, had long purple hair. Her left eye was a light and dark yellow and her other eye was covered by a beautiful, bloomed pink flower.

"She looks like you." Jemma said, pointing to the girl who looked like me.

"It's probably just some girl that has the same appearance as me," I replied.
We all sat down again and about a minute later a bell rang and students started walking into the classroom along with Mrs Okami.

"Good morning class! We have some new students today, would you please introduce yourselves?" Mrs Okami asked.
Jemma stood first and told the class about herself.
Next went Bella, Auri~San, and Silenca.
Kyle and I stayed seated with our arms crossed.

"Would you like to tell the class your name?" Mrs Okami asked.

"Kyle,"
She turned to look at me.

"I don't want to say my name and what I enjoy to a bunch of idiots," I replied, glaring at all my new classmates who gave me confused looks.
All of a sudden, three boys and three girls ran into the classroom.

"Sorry we're late, Mrs Okami!" One of the girls said, panting.
I looked at the girls appearances.
One of them had long pink hair, pale skin, and pink eyes.
The one who was panting had long black hair and purple eyes.
The last girl had long purple hair. One of her eyes were yellow and the other had a bandage on it.
One of the boys had short black hair and headphones covering his ears.
The other two boys were the boys I kept seeing around town.

"You're only five minutes late, come on in," Mrs Okami replied.
They all took their seats.

When class was over we went to lunch. Only one table was open so we sat there.
The girl with pink hair walked over.

"Hey Y/N! Who are your friends?" She asked.

"My friends," I replied sternly.

"Do you want to join the girls and I or go sit with Grian?" She asked.

"Uh, I don't know who you and your friends are nor do I know who this Grian is," I replied with an angry attitude. I started to reach for my knife but Kyle stopped me.

"The time isn't right," He whispered to me.

"We're her friends, not you, so go back to your friends." Bella told her, her arms now crossed.
The girl walked away with tears rolling down her face. She walked over to another table where the boys were and sat down.

"Does anyone know who that girl was?" Auri~San asked.

"I think that was Yuki," Silenca replied.

"Is she on any of your lists?" Jemma asked.
We all took out our lists and nodded no.

"The shadow did say a few students would be kept alive." Bella pointed out.

"We'll have to ask him if she's one of those students." I told them.

He never really told us why he wanted some students alive, it didn't matter though.

Grian's POV

"Do you know what's wrong with Y/N?" I looked up and saw that Yuki was seated across from me. Taurtis was next to me and Sam was by Yuki's side now.
I began explaining the situation with Y/N.

"Should I tell everyone else?" Yuki asked.

"Only say Y/N lost her memory of us," I replied.
I had explained to Taurtis earlier what happened.

"Okay," She replied. She got up and gave Sam a quick kiss on the cheek before going back to her table.
I turned to look at where Y/N was sitting. She was next to that guy.
I instantly regretted looking because I saw Y/N and him kissing.

~Later~

"Y/N isn't the same girl anymore!" I yelled.

"Grian com down." Ellen told me.

"I can't! She's forgotten me, how can I com down?" I continued to yell, pacing back and forth.

"She'll remember you soon," Ellen assured me.

"How do you know, Ellen?" I asked.

"It'll take awhile but the more she gets to know you the more the urge for her memory of you to come back," Ellen replied.

"But she's with that guy!" I yelled again putting my hands in my hair, stressed out.

"But that's not actually Y/N, you said so yourself Grian." Taurtis told me.
I commed down a bit and sat down, my face in my hands.
Ellen tried to make me feel better.

"She's going to murder someone right now, I can feel it." I said aloud.

"Do you know who?" Sam asked me.

"I sadly don't," I replied.

"We need to remember no matter who she kills we can't be mad at her just afraid of her. It isn't actually her that's murdering people." Yuki told me.
We all nodded in agreement.
We could only hope her new friends would do most of the murdering.

Your POV

My glowing red eyes traveled to the starry night sky.
I breathed in the cold air.
I was loaded with weapons.
My new and sharp knife was in my right hand.
My phone was in my left hand. The shadow provided me with it, the hit list on notes so we wouldn't look suspicious when we were looking at the list.
I wore long black leather boots and white stockings, a knife hidden in both boots.
I had a white dress on so when my victim's blood flied it would land on my dress.
I looked up to my victim's home and smiled a sick smile.
I took out my phone and texted my victim.

"Let's play a little game."
I said aloud as I texted my victim's number.
It didn't take long for her to reply.

Who is this?
She asked.

I am invisible to you. I hide in the shadows, watching your movements. I've learned your strengths and weaknesses, you have no where to run.
I will always find you.

I smiled sweetly, looking up to her window.
Black bars were placed on every window while she was at school, the girl was blind if she hadn't noticed them.

I'm calling the cops
She replied.

You'll be dead or missing before they get here. Besides, they can't get inside.
But I can :)

Is this a prank?
Taurtis is that you?
She replied. She seemed scared. But that's what I enjoy, my victims need to be afraid before I kill them.

I am not your idiotic boyfriend who's constantly listening to music. He's making himself deaf like the idiot he is.

Please stop whoever you are. This isn't funny!

Oh my dear, it's funny to me.
I'm already in your house. Now play my game or die slowly and brutally painful.

Where are you?

I hide in the shadows where you can't see me. Play my game and you might just survive.

What's your game?

I smiled again as I entered her home quietly and crept into the dark living room.

Go into the basement and you'll find out
I texted, already in her basement with my knife out. I hid in the corner where it was dark.
She came down the stairs and looked around. She of course didn't see me.
I ran behind her and held my knife to her neck.
I looked at my phone and texted her.

Hello Chan. My name is Y/N, ready to play our game?

I heard her phone buzz.
Her body was trembling.
"Go ahead, check."
I whispered.

Chan looked down at her phone and nodded twice.

"Good."
I whispered.

"What do I have to do?"
She asked.

"Nothing."
I stabbed the knife through the back of her chest.
She couldn't speak.
She fell to the ground.
A pool of blood splattered across the floor and onto my white dress, just as I planned.

"The game has been played.
The game was hide and seek, you found me. I scared you. I've accomplished that, that I can watch you struggle to breath."

  She coughed up blood.
I took out a dagger and stabbed her arm.
I took out a few more and stabbed her other arm and both legs.
She was dead now, I couldn't feel her pulse.
I walked back upstairs and out of Chan's house.

Taurtis's POV

I saw Chan's front door open as I walked by her house.
'That's strange.'
I thought to myself.

I walked up to her house and looked around.
Bloody footprints were on the ground.

"Chan?!"
I yelled.

I followed the footprints down into the basement. The basement was dark so I turned on the light.
But I instantly regretted it.
I ran over to Chan's body and held her close, crying.

"Who did this to you Chan?"
I knew she couldn't hear me or speak to me. She's dead. She had no pulse. Her corpse was lifeless.

"I'm sorry Chan. So, so, sorry..."
I whispered.

Hai!
This was fun to make. It was inspired by the book "Hide and Seek." and the song "Play our Little Game." By Benny which is above.
Also, I suggest listening to BTS's music. I watched a few MV theories and tried not to cry. Oh my Gord the story in all the MV's is amazing but so sad and depressing. I suggest checking them out, it's in Korean but still sounds good.
