"Mother? Why are we running?" Little Lake asked her mother who was carrying her and running away along with the other trolls from Fiji Village. Her father was leading everyone to a safer place. "Everyone! Follow me!".

"Sweetie, stay down." Her mother whispered as they continued to run through the rain. As they continued to run, a giant black shadow in the shape of a Bergen showed but lightning stroke and showed who it was. Chef. They all gasped as other bergens were caught, but Lake fell from her mother's hand as she quickly hid under a mushroom. She watched everything happened, Lake saw everyone gone, everything was lost. She crawled out the mushroom and started crying. "Mother!".

"Ah!" Lake got up from her bed and panted for air as she examined her surroundings. She was in her room. She covered her eyes and sighed. "Just a dream, just a dream...".

She felt like crying, but she couldn't. Just then, she saw lightning striking the ground out from her window. She got startled and jumped up. She sighed and looked at the clock. 11:39 pm. She decided to take a walk. She wore her usual clothes and headed to the door, she paused when she saw the black umbrella. She picked it up, opened the door, and raised the umbrella over her head. She started to walk around, not noticing her surroundings. She just thought walking can clear her mind from the nightmares. What she didn't know, was Branch watching. He was hiding from the tree, collecting sticks and branches. He furrowed a brow, when he heard music, he knew a song was coming up as the creatures started making music. Lake started to sing along with the rhythm.

"Like a boat,

On the ocean,

And all those things I didn't say,

She started singing. And Branch admits, she has a beautiful voice, like... he's heard of it before.

She finished singing and sighed. (A/N: I edited the song so hope you don't hate me) Branch felt sorry for her, he felt like hugging her or- Blah! Why will he want to hug an acquaintance?! But she did say she was his childhood best friend... As he saw her kneeling in front of a lake, he stepped out of the bush, stood behind her, and about to hold her shoulder. But he backed away and bit his bottom lip. "Um... Lake? What are you doing here in the middle of the night?".

Lake's eyes widened as she stood up and turned around. She started stammering and stuttering. She sighed and looked down at her feet. "Ugh, I can't hold it much longer. The past has been haunting me from day 1! Just... leave me alone. I don't need your sarcastic remarks.".

She said and handed him his umbrella and continued to walk away with the rain hitting her again. Branch looked at his umbrella and sighed. He watched her leave and walked the opposite direction she came from.
