The Snack Pack, Poppy, and Jinx were in Troll Tree and waiting for Lake and Branch. They were starting to get worried, and decided to start a conversation. "I hope Lake is ok...".

"Yeah, Branch better have her by now..." DJ Suki said as she turned to Jinx. "Why don't you check her out?".

"I don't know... that Branch guy is actually really close to Lake. I just know he's got this..." he said as they heard footsteps and laughing. They quickly turned around and saw Lake and Branch side-by-side and laughing. They had their arms around each other's waist and standing together. The Snack Pack and the others smiled. "Lake!".

Then they all ran to them and hugged Lake. Lake giggled and hugged them back. "Hehe, I missed you guys, too.".

Then she looked at Branch as they both shared a smile. Lake's pupils grew from her eyes as they parted. Then Lake chuckled and whispered to them. "Guys, I have great news... Branch and me are in love!".

They all cheered as Lake giggled. Branch rolled his eyes with a smile as he grabbed Lake's hand and whispered to her. "We have some news, too actually. Close your eyes...".

Lake closed her eyes, while Branch dragged her in front of the cake. Branch whispered to her ear. "Ok, now open.".

Lake opened her eyes and gasped. Tears falling from her eyes as she hugged Branch and giving a quick kiss on his lips. "I love it! When did you get the time to do all this?!".

"I worked at all this yesterday. Thanks to the Snack Pack, Poppy and... Jinx." He said as Lake looked around the lanterns and lights with the bergens around and celebrating, too. As they had a slice of cake, Lake smirked while looking at Branch, then she smacked the cake all over his face. Branch blinked and glared at Lake. Then she quickly ran away while giggling. Everyone started throwing cake at each other. Then Lake held a camera and stood next to Branch. Branch had his arms crossed and looking away. Lake nudged him and gave him a poker face. Branch rolled his eyes and smirked. Suddenly, the Snack Pack, Poppy, and Jinx jumped into the photo and posed. Lake giggled and clicked the camera as the photo came out the camera. Branch added the photo into the scrapbook Lake made for him as they hugged. 1 month later, Lake sat beside Branch on the bench as Lake smiled leaned on Branch's shoulder. "All this time, I thought I was alone... but I'm glad you're here...".

Branch smiled and kissed her cheek. "Me too. But you have no idea how annoyed I am of you every single day.".

Lake giggled and remembered those days. She smirked, and nudged him. "I still can't believe you did all that for me for my birthday!".

"As I said, 'I'd do anything for you'." He said as they shared a smile. Then he cupped her ear and kissed her lips. As they slowly part, Lake whispered. "Branch? What if... some of my people survived? Surely some of them did. I mean, look at Jinx! He survived. And I'm sure you would have, too.".

"I don't know. But I know some did. But I'd make sure they won't catch your eyes" he said as Lake chuckled and leaned on his shoulder. Branch leaned on her head, as two butterflies landed on the bench behind them. Then the butterflies flew up into the sky like dancing in the air, then they disappeared into mid-air.
