Lake bursted out the her pod with her fresh new clothes and her hair tied perfectly. She breathed in the fresh air and decided to take a walk since it's her birthday. She waved at everyone who greeted her a happy birthday. She would smile and wave her hand way up high. Even bergens would greet her. She didn't know how they knew her birthday, but she shrugged and continued on. Lake saw the Snack Pack and smiled as she ran to them. "Hey guys! It's-".

"Happy birthday!" They said in unison as Lake smiled and nodded. "Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.".

"You should celebrate!" Smidge said and playfully punched her leg. (A/N: since Smidge is really short) Lake smiled and held her waist. "Thanks. But... I think I'm just gonna have a simple birthday. Anyways, have you guys seen Branch? I haven't seen him all day!".

"Oh, he's busy with Poppy" DJ Suki said as they gasped and covered her mouth. Lake blinked, and had a face of disappointment. "Oh... I see. He's... busy with Poppy... I get it, I understand. I just wished he was here to greet and me 'happy birthday'.".

"We get it, little dudette. We'll call you when he gets here" Cooper said while nodding. Lake faked a smile and nodded as she waved and walked away. She sighed and walked around Troll Tree. Jinx greeted her a birthday and they had a small conversation. But then Lake waved and walked away. She looked at the clock. 7:29 pm. She sighed, not even thinking Branch would arrive to her birthday. She sat in front of the lake she would always go she's depressed or disappointed. She sighed and hugged her knees. "Where's Branch? I thought he would always greet me a birthday...".

"Ok, ok, everybody get ready. Lake should be here by now..." Branch said while holding a clipboard and walking around Troll Tree. Everybody started to tie decorations around Troll Tree and lanterns. Branch checked everything as Poppy stood in front of him. "Ok, Branch. I explained to Bridget and Gristle. They loved the idea!".

"Perfect. All we need now is the cake." Branch said and saw Biggie, Cooper, and Fuzzbert holding the cake. Branch nodded and pointed at the long table. "Carefully put the cake over there. And I'll go find Lake.".

The cake had blue icing, and made of chocolate. It had colorful flowers on each layer. It had three cakes above from each other. Then it had green decoration icing on it and had the candles carved into 21 on top. Shes actually 21 years old! Branch checked the clipboard and headed to Lake's pod to find Lake. And actually, today was the day he was actually gonna confess to her. But in a romantic way of course. Branch knocked at Lake's door. But no answer. He cocked a brow, then knocked the door again. Still nothing. He was starting to get anxious. He just started to open the door and saw the whole pod was empty. He started to get worried. "Lake? Happy birthday...".

He started to back up when he realized she wasn't in her pod. What was he gonna do?! He quickly ran away and dropping the clipboard and leaving the door open.
