Lake groaned as she heard the sound of her door knocking. She groaned and opened the door without fixing her hair. She rubbed her eyes and saw Jinx looking like an early bird. "Early bird catches the worm!".

"Jinx? What time is it? It's... 6:00 am!" Lake said while stretching her arms and almost falling asleep, literally. She landed on Jinx who chuckled and helped her stand up properly. Then he fixed her hair and tied it up. Lake slapped herself up as she shook her head and got wide awake. "So, what's the thing we're doing for today?".

"We can probably train a little, or... have fun?" He asked as Lake smiled and nodded. "How about I meet you to my best friends? Well, best friend. The others are just friends.".

She shrugged her shoulders, then Jinx smiled and nodded while holding his chin. "Huh, I like that.".

As they headed out and walked around Troll Tree, Jinx out his arms over his spear that was on his shoulders as he asked Lake. "So, who's that best friend of yours? I'm sure she'll like him.".

He said with a flirty grin. Lake rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "First of all, he's a he. And he won't like you're attitude. He's a bit... grumpy in times...".

"What do you mean? You're grumpy every time I flirt." He said as Lake rolled her eyes with a smirk. She flicked his forehead and snickered. "Nice try. It's because you're flirting is terrible! Even when we were kids, you were super annoying!".

"Ha, guess I am, River" he said and went to kiss her cheek. She sighed and shook her head while pushing him away with her index finger. "Exactly.".

Branch was looking at his face full of bites. Stupid spider that tackled him. He groaned and just ignored it for now. He headed out his pod and noticed laughing and giggling. He turned around and saw Lake with the green troll that doesn't seem good. He glared at him, not wishing to see him with his Lake. Then he felt a tap on the shoulder as he turned around again and saw Poppy. "Oh, hey Poppy.".

"Hi Branch! Who's the green troll Lake's laughing with?" Poppy asked with a smirk and a seductive voice. Branch rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Haha, very funny.".

Then he walked up to them and tapped Lake's shoulder. Lake turned around and smiled. "Branch! It's you!".

"Lake, who's... this?" He said and pointed his head at him. Lake smiled and grabbed Jinx's shoulder and pulled him. "This is Jinx, he's one of my best friends when we were kids, right before I met you.".

"Oh..." Branch said and glared at him. Jinx perceived it and whispered to Lake's ear. "You're right. He is grumpy. I'm starting to see some resemblance...".

"Haha, very funny" Lake said and rolled her eyes. Branch crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "So, 'Jinx', how did you get back here?".

"I saw River over here and thought I could visit. Just so you know, I survived from the Bergen attack, thanks to Lake's private training" Jinx said and nudged Lake who rolled her eyes. Branch nodded slowly, then grabbed Lake's arm and dragged her from the other side of the tree. "Branch, what are you-"

"Shh! I don't trust 'Jinx', he could be another one of those bergens that transformed into a troll!" He said as Lake snickered and scoffed. "Branch, you're talking nonsense. Cmon, we'll talk about this in the Snack Pack's hangout pod.".
