As Branch walked around Troll Tree, every Bergen and Troll greeted him a happy birthday. He was about to visit Lake, but he couldn't find her at all. He kept wondering where she was. Instead, he found the Snack Pack. "Happy birthday, Branch!".

"Uh... thanks guys. But it's not big deal-" he said but Cooper interrupted him. "So, dude? How are you gonna celebrate your birthday?".

"Probably just... well-... nothing at all. I just want people to know it is my birthday." He said and shrugged his shoulders. He didn't see DJ Suki, though. He got curious. "So... where's DJ Suki?".

"Oh! She's with Lake. She visited her in her pod" Guy Diamond answered in his auto tone voice. Branch smiled and nodded. "Oh, might as well visit them-"

"No! No need, Branch. Lake is really busy right now..." Biggie said as they all nodded in agreement and gave odd smiles. Branch cocked a brow, confused.

"I don't know, DJ Suki... it's just... I can't do it!" Lake said while holding a wrapped box with a blue ribbon on top. The wrapping was green, and perfectly wrapped. DJ Suki scoffed and smiled. "Just do it, girl! He'll love it! What's the big deal anyways?".

Lake sighed and sat on her bed and stared at the gift. She gave a small frown, before answering. "It's the day I actually met him. He was having a nice little party with his grandma, but he saw my rubber ball bouncing around, so he checked it out. And that's when I met him! But when I arrived back at my place, I forgot to greet him a 'happy birthday', so I went back to his and did. And I promised to never forget and give him a gift. I have kept that promise ever since...".

"Deep..." DJ Suki said as Lake nodded confidently and stood up. "And I'm gonna give him the best birthday gift ever!".

"You go, girl! Let's go!" She said as they ran outside. Lake went back inside and fixed her hair. Then she ran outside and followed DJ Suki.

"Guys, for the last time, I'm just gonna check Lake out!" Branch kept complaining and his fists started clenching together. Then Smidge stood on his shoulder with glasses and a clipboard. "Mister Branch, you need to avoid Lake for a while-"

"I'll ask this one last time... where is-?!" But he was interrupted when he felt a tap on his shoulder as he turned around and saw Lake. His expression softened and had her gift behind her back. "Hey Branch. Who are you looking for?".

"Oh! Um... no one important..." Branch said and rubbed his nape. Lake smiled and about to reply. But she couldn't find the right words. She paused and cleared her throat. "Uh... Branch? I... wanted to say something...".

"Sure. What is it?" Branch asked as Lake pulled out the gift. Branch blinked, then he kindly grabbed it and examined it. "A birthday gift? You remembered?".

"Of course I did, dummy! I never forget" she said and scoffed. Branch smiled and hugged her. "Thanks Lake.".

"You're welcome. What do we say we... have a birthday party? I asked Poppy to plan and have you host it! C'mon guys!" Lake ran off along with the Snack Pack as they cheered. Branch's eyes widened as he put the gift in his hair. "Hey! No party! I repeat, no party!".

Then everyone was gone. Branch groaned and stumped his foot on the ground. "Is no one listening to me?! I said no party!".

After the exhausting party, Branch arrived back in his pod and collapsed on his bed. He pulled out the gift box from his hair and observed it. He saw a yellow note on the top of the box, so he picked it up and read it. "Dear Branch, I know these kinds of note stuff are boring but... I just wanted to say happy birthday. And I hope you enjoy this gift, it may not be much but... I hope you like it."

Branch opened it, and his eyes widened as he picked it up. It was a scrapbook, it showed everything Branch and Lake did as best friends. And there was a note again. "Oh, and P.S., I had some help from Poppy.".

Branch chuckled, and opened the scrapbook as glitter cane spurting to his face. Branch wiped it off and saw another note. "Oh, and P.S.S., I thought of the glitter thing, enjoy!".

Branch shook his head and smiled a bit. He stood up and put the scrapbook in the closet of other scrapbook's Poppy  gave him. He took one more glance, then closed the closet and smiled. "Great, now I need to wash my face.".
