It was a wonderful day, there lived a little blue troll, that had shiny blue hair that reached her back, light blue skin, and beautiful green eyes, and her name is Lake. She was 5 years old, and loved playing with her friends. They lived in a village called Fiji Village. It had flowers, lakes, rivers, trees, vines, and mosses everywhere. It was miraculously beautiful, as Lake played with her best friends, Jinx and Ruby, they played ball and threw it and suddenly got it in the center of the woods. Jinx gasped and turned to little Lake. "We can't go through the woods, it's not safe!".

"Don't worry guys, I'll go get it, so don't tell my parents!" She said as they all nodded. Lake took a deep breath, and entered the woods, away from her village. As she looked around, she found her ball stuck on a bush, she smiled and ran up to it. As she was about to pick it up, another blue hands grabbed it. Lake's eyes widened as she shot her head right back up and saw two blue orbs that she lost in his gaze. He had blue hair and skin as her, but darker, and he had green and brown clothes which made him look really cute. That was what Lake thought. She started smiled and blushed. "Hi! I'm Lake! Um... what's your name?".

"My name's Branch. Oh! Is this you ball?" He asked and handed her the colorful rubber ball. Lake kindly grabbed it and smiled as she nodded. "Thank you, where do you live?".

"Um... Troll Tree, don't you?" He asked as Lake shook her head. Branch smiled as he rubbed his nape. "Wanna be friends?".

"Definitely!" She said and heard her parents call her name. Lake gasped and gave Branch a smile. "Hope I'll see you again Branch, bye!".

She waved at him and ran back with the rubber ball, and saw her parents looking worried as her father hugged her and carried her up. "I was worried about you! Don't you ever go to the woods by yourself.".

"But father! I saw a troll from Troll Tree! There must be more trolls out there!" Lake gave a wide smile, but her father shook his head and waved his index finger. "No, impossible. No other troll can live in a different place.".

"He's right, dear" Lake's mother agreed as Lake sighed and gave a small frown. Oh, how her parents never believe her. Lake wished her parents would just nod in everything Lake says. But she couldn't disobey her own parents. As she tucked herself in her bed, her mother kissed her forehead and whispered. "I'm sorry about your father, he's just... overprotective, that's all! I hope you can understand. Goodnight sweetie, love you.".

"Love you, mother." She said as her mother exited her room and turned off the lights. Lake stared out the window, and she nodded and jumped out the window and headed to the exact place she met Branch. She looked around the woods and called out. "Branch? Branch? May I see you again?".

"Lake? What are you doing here?" Branch popped out from the trees and ran to her as rain fell down. He used his hair to make it like an umbrella. Lake and Branch shared a warm smile, and Lake chuckled. "Branch, can we be best friends, instead?".

"Sure, just... don't run like that in the rain." He said as Lake giggled. River knew Branch and her would make good friends, no, best friends. And nothing can keep them away from any harm.
