"Mom!! I'm going outside to play!" I yelled loud enough for my mom to hear.

She doesn't reply so I just put my shoes on and leave.

I walked to the park which wasn't far away from my house.

As soon as I get to the park I get on my favorite part of the park, the swings.

I was going to run up to it but I see a boy around my age get on the swings before me.

"Hey! I was going to get on the swings first!" I yelled at the boy.

"Sorry I'll get off." The poor little boy said before he got off.

I got on the swing and before he could go away I decided to ask him something.

"Wait." I say as he turns around. "Yeah?" He says.

"What's your name? I'm Y/n." I say smiling trying to be friendly.

"Im Gregory." Gregory says smiling back.

A little girl next to me gets off the swing which gives me an idea.

"Good riddance." I say before turning to back to Gregory. "Come sit with me." I say to Gregory.

"Thanks!" He says smiling before coming to sit next to me.

"So, you live around here?" I ask. "Yeah! I live next to that house over there!" He says before pointing next to my house.

"Really? We live right next to each other!" I say as my smile grows bigger.

"Awesome! Now we can each other everyday!" Gregory says.

"Aw man my mom's calling me I gotta go." I say sadly.

"Really? It's only-" gregory pauses before looking at his bear watch and starts again.

"It's only 10:30am" he says.

"Yeah, sorr-" I got cut off by someone screaming my name.

"What the hell?" Gregory says.

"I didn't know you swear.?" I say.

"Yknow what never mind. Here." I give him a piece of paper with my number on it and then run to the house.
